  1. It all depends on what they have planned going forward and what they have the rights to. I'm saying this buzz you are talking about really has nothing to do with what's already planned. It's all about sales with lego. We have seen that Rivendell has sold well and if Barad Dur sells well it may bode well for future sets but we won't know until further info leaks. As far as the movies coming out it's like I said it's because there is really not a lot coming out of hollywood and the moives are only playing on consectutive days so that's only 3 days that's really not a lot of time in the theatre and each movie only is playing for one day. If we are getting sets for War of the Rohirrim like has been hinted it would be great. But I don't think the releasing of the LOTR movies in June is going to create that much buzz for the War of the Rohirrim in December.
  2. Them playing the movies this summer is because there is no moives really coming out. It doesn't mean anything set wise. This is really because hollywood has very few movies coming out this summer. What we have to watch for is if War of the Rohirrim will have sets coming this winter when the movie releases. And wait and see if there are rumors of upcoming LOTR sets in the future.
  3. Nice build. I like the scaffolding that you put around the statue. Nice use of tiles and bricks to get the statues shape.
  4. Excellent build. I really like the cobblestone pathway inside the castle. The texturing of the castle is nice and i like the little pieces of sand blue and dark tan. The vines add a pop of color. The archways with the dark grey look great. The tudor buildings are a nice touch and the wood framing looks great. The layout of the interior really stands out with the coblestone and the patches of green. All of the stalls and livestock pens bring the castle to life. I like the training grounds and the statue are also nice details. Congratulations on a really great build.
  5. just use #legoleaks they all end up there anyway
  6. You asked if the LKC is true to it's original version. The LKC is a new set just with easter eggs within the set to other older lego sets like the little yellow castle the kid is playing with and somethings like the black trees etc.
  7. They won't throw the brickheadz in with this purchase it will just be the GWP and whatever GWP is on at that time as sometimes there are general GWP going on.
  8. Odin with ramen noodles would be great LOL. But yeah that would be cool to see the Raven used in several settings.
  9. The new dreamzzz sets have a new armor piece on some of the villains.
  10. Ok I couldn't remember if it was or not I know the small fig bodies are because I just ordered some for some more mushroom people.
  11. it's already out in the time tower set it should end up on PAB soon Raven looks great, like said above hopefully we see it in all black soon.
  12. The summer Dreamzzz sets have leaked and there is a new raven mold. There also is new armor piece. The villains look great. Hope the raven mold gets used and printed in all black for something in the future.
  13. If there is a set for next year it's already being designed and worked on so hopefully if there is we will hear something later this year.
  14. I have 2 sons that are both teenagers now. I will say this if you want to keep the sets nice and not messed up then no I wouldn't let them play with them as kids will usually knock things off and lose parts etc. If you don't mind having things missing and the sets partially rearranged then let them have at it. I let my oldest play with my lego's when he was around that age and things got messy and parts of my MOC's and sets would get knocked off. It really comes down to how you like to use your lego. Do you like to display them? Do you like to play with and use the sets? If you like to display them and leave the sets as is then it's probably better to leave them out of reach of the kids. If you don't mind then have fun and play with them and make a fun story with the kids. I used to come up with battle scenes for my son and let him choose to be the good guys or the bad guys and we would have battles. Younger kids is tough because they have a tendency to drop things but it's fun when they get older and you can swoosh around your dragons and attack villages, castles, etc. My younger son is still into lego and likes the Lion knights. He's still into Ninjago and likes a lot of the dragons. We still build together and even set up fun battles and create new minifigs.
  15. They don't make new molds for GWP there is no way it's going to be the Witch king.
  16. They really don't do new molds for GWP so that is highly unlikely.
  17. The figs sound good and brickclicker said at least ten so there could be more but we will see what will happen. Also think a fellbeast would be nice. Definitely shaping up to be another great middle earth set.
  18. I was in agreement with you. I was just saying it's highly unlikely because of Ninjago. I agree here also it would be nice to get other settings like middle eastern, asian, south american and african sets. This would be a nice change of pace something like the mayans or inca's would be nice. Even some buildings in a Turkish style or something from the persian empire would be interesting.
  19. I don't have the MTS set yet. The LKC is great and the 3in1 castle does look good. I have the Viking village but it's not built yet. I'm planning on getting the DnD set tomorrow. I am waiting to get the MTS and excited to see what Barad Dur looks like. I also have the blacksmith that looks nice with all the other castle sets. I'm interested in seeing how the Viking Village and the MTS sets look together.
  20. Yeah Stores usually get around 10 sets to start out with my local store is first come first serve. So hopefully when I stop by after work tomorrow there is one left.
  21. It would be nice to see but with Ninjago around it's highly unlikely. It would be nice to get some Ninja outfits that aren't Ninjago. Also some Samurai would be great.
  22. It's been on Idea's for awhile. Maybe try BDP for series 5 is coming up for entries to start soon.
  23. Lego PAB and bricklink are easy ways to get different heads and minifigure parts. Heads are pretty cheap you can get a nice selection of different faces and colors.
  24. There is a renaissance fair set in idea's I'm not sure if it's at 10,000 yet but it is a nice looking set.
  25. Nerd of the rings is pretty knowledgeable about LOTR stuff, the licensing for the LOTR is petty complicated because of the Tolkien estate but hopefully we will see some more LOTR sets coming in the future and maybe by the end of the summer we will have more concrete knowledge of sets from the original trilogy or sets that tie into War of the Rohirrim. I hope that these rumors are true and I also think that Barad Dur is still coming in June. It will be nice to see some new LOTR sets and places we haven't seen in lego form yet like Bree, Gondor, other parts of the shire, etc.
