    That is not the case at all. Look at the LKC, viking village, Blacksmith shop, lego did great with those knowing full well they will sell well. Yeah the Town Square is a miss for some and then there are others who like it. The others I mentioned were all home runs for them. I'm not sure how the budget worked out for the Town Square but the designer couldn't put in the animals he wanted and had to make concessions. Yes Companies have to make profits. Lego has warehouses, shipping costs, research and development, employees, molds, electricity, taxes, etc to pay for so stuff does add up.

    I would love a Black Knights castle in a darker color like dark grey and black with a different architecture style so it looks like a different realm from the Lion knights or Black Falcon knights. I think a small Wolfpack set would be nice too especially since we have the new torso and they could easily redo the tower set and people would love and updated version of that set with newer techniques and pieces. That set would fly off the shelves. .

    Very clean and precise design. I like the playability of the build. The interior details are very nice. The figs look great too.

    Yeah it looks like the set will have a few humans, but when the set is shown next month we will know for sure. Would love to see a Firbolg, hobgoblin, half-orc, drow, Genasi, warforged, and a bugbear if we get another series. Wouldn't mind getting more elves, centuars or satyr's, I know we have several different elves from LOTR/Hobbit and the CMF but others will be welcome. We also have the Centuar from HP and CMF but once again another color would be great along with the CMF satyr which is yellow so a flesh toned one would be great. The possibilities with this are endless.

    Everything looks so good. the figs, the hinged tower and the dice. I really like the dragon design looks slick. The parts usage from Nexo knights and Chima is a great idea. This is just fantastic job well done.

    Yeah that $10 mech set with 4 figs is a steal the figs are great. I've gotten 2 so far and 1 for my youngest son he's a big Ninjago fan. Planning on getting some more, those dark blue hoods are really nice and the printing on the wolf warriors is great. Lloyd is also a great fig.

    Soapy water works also and you don't have to use chemicals.

    I don't agree with number 4 Ninjago has a small $10 army builder that just released recently. plus they have their small dragon sets out now and smaller $20-30 sets that have great figs and builds.

    I'm just mentioning to him that if he's into that kind of stuff also that set and the CMF might interest him. Some people are just straight up into classic castle or Medieval stuff and aren't into fantasy stuff like LOTR, DnD, Wheel of Time, MTG, etc.

    They are lumped together with castle/fantasy in this forum. The Mods decided this awhile ago and here they will stay it's really not worth worrying about.

    If you like DnD there is a set coming in April and a CMF series coming in September.

    Yeah I'm hoping to get a decent tax return or maybe a bonus from work in March that may help to get Rivendell.

    Yeah I think DnD and Barad Dur or Rivendell are priorities for me probably Rivendell first as It came out first.

    Very nice. I probably have too many castle sets to get this year including the DnD set, Town Square, Rivendell, possibly Barad Dur this year if I have enough money. And I still would like to get all of the DnD CMF's and extra's like in the earlier post so it will be an expensive year and If I add the Forestmen hideout from BDP that's a lot of money in total so I will have to see how things pan out.

    Yeah I kind of figured. I like pirates also just don't have many sets as my main thing is castle/fantasy. Ominous Isle does look great, do you know how much it will be? Did you vote for Hug Island in series 4?

    Yeah I'm going to get all the CMF's keep one set original then get as many extras as I can for customization. I am also getting the DnD set. The Forestmen set on BDP is also very nice.

    Probably not since he is in the city sets. The fortnite sets will probably have new characters.

    This fig is from the set. Are you getting the set and all the CMF's? Yeah that castle is nice in BDP I voted for it. I'm sure it has an alternate face like most of the cmf's do Looks also to have a border on the shield. I can't tell the color of the horse but it looks dark. fig looks great. Can't wait to see both the set and the figs. Better pics of the set should come next month.

    Yes for the next three years. I actually hope they put it back in theaters in at the end of the year for the anniversaries but not holding my breathe on that. Maybe a nice Edoras set for next years Two Towers anniversary and then the year after something with Gondor for The return of the King would be great.

    Yeah 25 years would be next year for the Fellowship of the Ring. It would be great to see something like a Bree set or more of Hobbiton.

    Your still not getting it that's ok whatever. Once again you can make the shield for whoever you want it to be you don't have to follow what they said that's the beauty of lego you can choose to make that shield for whomever you want. Just like you can buy parts and make a King figure. You don't have to follow lego's storyline you can make your own.

    You are missing the fundamental point of lego and that is that you can create what you want. Example if you don't want the Queen make a King and make the barding his and the shield his it's really not that hard. That was the fun of lego when I was younger we didn't get any of that back in the 80's and 90's There where no orcs, demons, goblins etc. You had to make your own. It's called using your imagination and it seems like today we have forgotten all that and just want what we want. Life is full of things that we want and don't want. And even sometimes we have to do things we don't want to do but have to. If you don't want to buy it because it doesn't have a shield don't buy it and wait till something catches your eye or you could buy the set and make mods to it yourself and have fun with it. Personally I used to build the sets when I was younger then I would change them around and build something different and change the figs around and have fun with it because that's the point to have fun building with lego.

    Strahd has a red eyed rat, that's great. The Mindflayer with molded head and molded intellect devourer is exciting. Can't wait to see the Aarakocra head also. I'm buying as many as possible. The dragonborn Paladin sound great with that new armor piece. Plus my youngest son is also very excited for these.
