I think so! The existence of 76458 was only revealed a coupla days ago and yesterday was the first I heard about a price range and release date ^^ Take it with a grain of salt, but the rumour sounds plausible to me

I know you personally don‘t like the made-up dinos, but they are major antagonists so it does make sense to have them featured in sets The most surprising set to me build-wise is the Spino & Quetzal one. Skipping numbers is very common and happens to many themes. Sometimes it‘s because of cancelled sets, other times for unknown reasons Another set existing isn‘t completely impossible, but I wouldn‘t count on it. An embargo would only reduce the chance of descriptions and pictures leaking (though we‘ve seen with the Giganotosaurus set how „successful“ that can be), not hiding the existence of the set altogether

I was thinking that at first too, but the Beast head is actually like a helmet and goes over a minidoll/minifig head, hence they were able to reuse the piece!

While they reused the piece, at least the printing is very different!

The previously mentioned 76458 is apparently a $75-90 set, releasing in June alongside the other sets! Sounds like a retail exclusive ^^ Hopefully something with potential for new characters!

There‘s nothing pointing at the existence of a 7th Rebirth set While it‘s odd they omitted the mutant, we‘ve known for a while that we‘d get 9 sets this year and now we‘ve seen them all. 76971 is simply a skipped number. My guess is that they kept the mutant a secret for long enough that TLG couldn‘t design something in time. Maybe next year

Just to play devil‘s advocate, the „no OT troopers in retail sets“ observation has a potential blind spot: the AC. Sure, it‘s not a playset and has a very short shelf life, but it is a retail set And they love to include Imperial troopers here!

I really like all of these sets! Some observations: Nice to see the new small dome piece from Friends in other sets, here being used in black for the Aquilops‘ claws! The minifig-scale Aquilops is just adorable! Pleasantly surprised we‘re getting the entire Delgado family The new velociraptor is a welcome inclusion, and featured in two sets even! Interesting that Bennett, Loomis, and Krebs are all featured in the two largest sets. WHERE‘S THE MUTANT? There must be a follow-up set next year then, even though they don‘t usually do that for JW.

Oh, that U-Wing looks good! Nice to have Dedra with a dual-moulded cap plus one of those new helmetless troopers! I gladly trade the rumoured two Stormies for that

They managed to incorporate all the core locations combined with a very detailed exterior and included all the major characters The only criticisms I have are the Beast‘s legpiece and some scaling inconsistencies, but I get that they wanted an easy way to change him into his human form, and the scaling is a compromise I‘m ultimately okay with.

Two actually, but one of them is a Toy Story set and the other is based on WALL-E Not sure if they‘ll ever release a set directly based on Brave, but Merida could (and should!) be incorporated into the next Disney CMF series, once that (hopefully) materialises. Or alternatively, a Pixar set that features characters from different films. The Toy Story celebration set is too small to feature other Pixar characters I‘d say, but the Luxo Jr Ideas set could theoretically do that! Sure, the fan model didn‘t have any minifigs, but it wouldn‘t be the first time they added some
