Love the new Privet Drive set! Marge looks better than expected and the house itself is an improvement to me as well ^^ As for the Hogsmeade rumour, I‘m fully behind the idea, but they kinda shot themselves in the foot minifig-wise with the 2023 AC They can still do a few new characters and variants of course, but I doubt the minifigs will be much of a draw here. The set itself however has great potential!!

I got a good laugh out of that, thank you As much as I like Indy, I doubt the theme will ever come back again, even in the style of the current LotR Icons sets. While I‘m still mad about the ToD cancellation and the lack of follow-up sets, I‘m grateful Indy was brought back at all and with three amazing sets at that. That‘s more than can be said about the only other theme I‘m still waiting for them to bring back! Hint: my avatar and username Kinda amazing it’s the only major licensed theme from the late 2000s/early 2010s they haven‘t revisited yet. Indy, LotR, PotC, Toy Story, and HP all came back, after all!

While the mere existence of this show (and especially its blatant attempt to replace the movies) annoys me, I’ll be able to ignore it just like The Rings of Power, at least as long as TLG don’t shift gears. It’d be an utter shame if the current Hogwarts system got undercut by sets based on the show I feel it has to continue at least to 2027 since 3 years clearly won’t be enough to cover everything! I know they promised “the most detailed version of Hogwarts”, not “the most complete”, but I’d argue a detailed one should still be as complete as possible

Agreed, for the most part. I really liked Newt as a character and the time gap was large enough for it not be a direct prequel. Where they lost it was the confusing writing (what was the point of the switcheroo with the babies in CoG again, and why is a magical deer so crucial for the governing structure of the wizarding world in SoD all of a sudden?) with a ton of side characters that ended up contributing nothing of note, and the overall rather dull look and mundane costumes. And yeah, the fantastic beasts and Grindelwald stories didn‘t mesh all that well either. The beasts felt really shoehorned in in both sequels

Yeah, while there are plenty of fantastic high-caliber British and Irish actors and actresses left that that haven‘t already played a role in HP, I doubt WB‘ll be able to get ahold of many of them. JKR is pure poison, and then there‘s the long-term commitment. Most actors of that caliber are hard to acquire for a 7-season show. And they‘re expensive to boot! They‘ll probably go the ROP route and cast mostly unknown theatre actors. Granted, Lithgow is a far bigger name than any of the ROP cast, but I imagine very few cast members will be that high-profile (I’m aware of some of the rumours, but no way they‘ll cast Cilian Murphy as Quirrell, for instance)

And if it actually could, wizards and witches are kinda sorta… horrendously evil to be withholding that sorta knowledge from the rest of mankind! …and that’s exactly why magic and overthinking mix about as well as oil and water. … Can we have some news please? Maxbautde also reports that a new rangefinder piece is coming! Makes sense, since providing an entire bag of accessories every time was kinda excessive, especially for the Boba and Jango minifigs So that’s one more new piece! Not exactly spectacular, but I’ll take it!
