  1. You mean if it counted as a spoiler if it was A) real, B) in a set, and C) included among the dinos & reptiles that toymakers unveiled? Good question. It could count as spoiler since its existence gives away a key plot detail, but then again, we saw a pickled two-headed raptor in the trailer, so the cat is out of the bag (Also, I think the preserved two-headed raptor is just there to showcase the experimentation InGen did and to foreshadow the mutant, not to foreshadow other two-headed raptors)
  2. The only reason I object to the minifig list is because the BP is the only set, as far as we know. Sure, they could pull a LOTR and release yearly Icons sets, but even then it‘s unlikely we‘ll get Barbossa, Pintel, and Ragetti since they‘d likely focus on the ships. An isla de muerta Icons set would be great, but I doubt that‘ll ever happen
  3. How so? A spoiler by definition is something that may negatively affect one‘s viewing experience, like ruining a surprise. I don‘t see how the existence or appearance of dinosaurs in a dinosaur franchise can be considered a spoiler Unless it‘s a very specific dino of course, say, if Blue or Rexy made an unexpected appearance in the movie and it got revealed through a set. That could indeed be a spoiler. Also, YMMV. If something‘s shown in a trailer or other promotional material, it‘s generally not viewed as a spoiler since it‘s official. Of course there are people who want to go into a movie blindly and thus all marketing would be a spoiler to them, including toys.
  4. Kuroobi could be realised with two existing pieces, namely the S27 Pterodactyl costume‘s arms and Nezha‘s hairpiece. Not a perfect match, but close enough! Arlong himself surely needs at least one new piece. A similar hat exists, but it has to be a new hat-hair combo piece to do the character justice. Not sure about the nose.. They can‘t omit it since it‘s integral to his design, so it‘s either a print or a Pinocchio-esque piece. Or maybe they combine the head, hair, and hat into a single moulded piece
  5. I‘m foreseeing a Quinjet, a Hulkbuster, a Cap bike, an HQ, plus a Doom vehicle Jokes aside, I hope they at least get some hints about what happens in the movie in terms of action setpieces. The AoU and IW waves were pretty accurate overall! Endgame had a good reason for the secrecy because they couldn‘t reveal anything about the time travel plot, which takes up a vast chunk of the screentime. I highly doubt Doomsday will be equally secretive.
  6. Yeah, and it‘s not just the size, it‘s the posture. Ideally, Beast would consist of new pieces altogether, but a minifig with the „animal legs“ (as Bricklink calls them) and a new headpiece would be the best solution without going all out The existing minidoll headpiece isn‘t bad at all (especially with more minifig-like printing), but since it‘s not compatible with minifigs, they have to come up with something new. But hey, no matter what they do, it‘ll look better than the silly super-lean minidoll Beast
  7. Yeah, makes sense to me. After all, they couldn‘t release what the scene actually featured, so made something up, and it‘s a pretty decent solution. Definitely better than the golfkart flamethrower of doooooooom or that giant black and gold spider drone
  8. …Is that Dr Doom as Sorcerer Supreme riding a Doom cyborg T-Rex? Comics are weird, man. Still waiting for that Thanoscopter set.
  9. Fair enough. At least we have potential movies again As much as I like the Mandoverse and the animated shows, SW belongs on the big screen for me
  10. Not that I‘d mind any if them, but some of the suggested characters are a bit out there. So far, they‘ve focussed on the core characters from the 90s snd early 2000s, so i doubt they‘d suddenly put the spotlight on characters introduced less than 3 years ago
  11. No, but as long as they sell we keep getting more. Same goes for the buildable figures. But hey, from next year on we‘re finally getting new movies again, so we‘re guaranteed to have more interesting waves again! Unless they start skipping new movies too, but the day a SW movie of all things gets snubbed is when they‘ve officially lost the plot.
  12. The designers may have some say in chosing the sets they wanna create (as evidenced by them convincing Lucasfilm to let them do Krennic‘s shuttle over the 4-winged one the protagonists steal), but they don‘t have absolute power The higher-ups and Lucasfilm/Disney still need to approve their choices, and that approval is motivated by sales figures, not personal preferences. They have the data to back it up, and if they’re willing to release an entire Clone-centric wave, they must see a lot of potential in that Maybe the last few Clone sets really were all bestsellers, outperforming everything else. I guess we‘ll see if that gamble pays off for them.
  13. That would look hilariously awful. Just try it out with Korg Also, he‘s the same as height as his fellow team members in the movie, so a regular minifig was the correct choice
  14. That‘s because the JWD sets got released in April while the Rebirth sets are scheduled for June. We likely won‘t see proper images before April
  15. I wouldn’t go that far as it‘s still a solid set I think, but the new one is a vast improvement for sure! Especially the new windows are much more accurate, which is funny considering the previous set also introduced new windows, as pointed out before Makes me think the 2019 pieces were created with something else in mind and they just happened to show up in that set first. They‘re excellent, long-requested pieces that still get put to good use, but in hindsight, they weren’t exactly accurate to the KB We still haven‘t figured out why the set got delayed, right? I couldn‘t spot any culprits or even suspects in the video It‘s not like it has any obvious vulnerable functions or stability issues like previous delayed sets.
  16. Between endless Clones and boring OT remakes, the former is the lesser of two evils to me Kinda hilarious we’ve reached the point where people actually want a new landspeeder
  17. Interesting that the 2019 and 2025 models both introduced a new window piece! While I still like the 2019 set, the new one is a lot more accurate Too bad we lost both Stan’s hat and the shrunken head. Oh well
  18. That makes no sense. If the asterisk can be shown in trailers and put on posters, they could also feature it on toy packaging. What‘s the logic? „Oh no, the toy only has the branding used in ALL of the promotional material and not the actual title revealed at the end of the movie, nobody will buy it now, CANCEL IT“
  19. That‘d be the first time a movie was skipped, only to get a set later. NWH still had one proper tie-in set on shelves when the movie came out Not impossible, but also not very likely. For most new releases, it‘s now or never! Besides, if Sentry was the sole reason, they simply could‘ve done a set without him. It‘s not beneath them to omit the main antagonist, as they‘ve proven multiple times recently
  20. Not really, I only counted the number of expected new characters (or major variants) and new moulded pieces this year to drive home the point how much lower both numbers are compared to the last couple of years. The absolute number of minifigs is probably pretty similar
  21. No, because the two MCU series were mostly based on shows that didn’t get sets, ignoring the two What If sets and the X-Mansion The CMF series were thus a good way to fill in some blanks. Without the series, we likely never would‘ve gotten these characters and variants. In contrast, most SW shows do get sets and thus don‘t really need a CMF series to help out. Besides, I can‘t think of any desirable SW minifigs they couldn‘t just throw into a regular set. The only viable option I see would be to go the Marvel route and release CMFs based on stuff that doesn‘t get regular sets, like Visions or Tales of the XYZ.
  22. I wouldn‘t be so sure. The two main issues are that they‘d A) lose a selling point for regular sets if desirable characters suddenly showed up as CMF figures, and B) that SW is simply too big of a franchise. They‘d have to do be very specific about what they pick for a 12-figure series. Since representing main characters is a staple of all licensed series, they‘d have to do series based on individual shows and movies (rather than SW as a whole) so they could still make for the side characters that we want, and even then 12 would be nowhere near enough Just my 2 cents tho.
  23. Ding ding ding, we have a winner here! I‘d be very surprised if we got anything else for Johnny.
  24. Nice to see that the inventory type leaks are back! Those haven‘t been seen since the Ahsoka leaks I believe Both pieces look great! Looking forward to more
  25. The dinos yearn for human flesh tho. The body count has to come from somewhere.
