It‘s nearly impossible to cram everything into this iteration of Hogwarts if they stick with the 3-year release schedules, but who says they will? There‘s nothing stopping them from increasing it to 4 or 5 years. Seems more sustainable to me than starting yet another iteration in 2027 already. (Also, kinda hard to find a good marketing angle with that one since they already called the current one „the most detailed version“ ) TLG like to work in 3-year schedules in general, but that‘s not set in stone. Just look at Ninjago! -

Yeah, if the set really is a RFT, something has gone horribly wrong. Galactic Marines have nothing to do with that vehicle and making a $150 set of a vehicle that was $40 the last time we saw it is just unheard of, and goes against the recent trend of downsizing vehicles Fingers crossed for an update soon! -

That set sure… exists. I still like the portal builds and having the amazing portals scene featured in a set is welcome, but the inaccurate minifigs and uninspired build are hard to excuse. They had the budget for unnecessary new Mark 85 prints, but not Dr Strange? Also, a mech is a weird way to represent Giant-Man. And of course the minifig choices are pretty lame, but we‘ve known that for a while. Meh. The only good things about this set are the Ant-Man and Iron Spider minifigs, the broken shield, having extra heads & hairpieces for some of the characters, and the portals. -

Ideas sets are all 18+ now, but they don‘t count as D2C sets -

Agreed. Cloning humans, while also in line with that theme, was pretty out there as a plot point, but mutations fit in much better I think. I imagine splicing dinosaur DNA found in mosquitos with modern frog DNA could result in some pretty freaky mutations if done IRL, so that fits pretty well (Also, on a side note: how did they get DNA from aquatic species like the Mosasaurus? Not very likely to be stung by a mosquito, were they? ) -

Yeah, Sunspot isn’t exactly an A-lister There are far more well-known X-Men they’d tackle first. -

Zaslav knowing *anything* is a pretty bold statement. I highly doubt that absolute moron can tell the difference between Batman and Spider-Man I have no faith in WB as a studio as long as that buffoon is still around. The chance of him axing another finished movie again to save pennies on taxes is high. -

This can be explained with one word (or rather, acronym): D2C. Exclusive sets are usually revealed much closer to release and leakers tend to get less information about them Also, it’s inconsistent anyway. We know next to nothing about the Bag End and Krusty Burger sets that are both scheduled for April, yet we already have the full minifig list of the Enterprise, which comes out in November -

While I’d prefer a moulded creature, I could see them go down the brickbuilt route with the mutant, especially since there already is a brickbuilt animal in one of the sets The main issue with a moulded version would be the limited versatility. None of the new pieces could be repurposed for any other future dinosaur. Then again, they did a Rancor in 2013 and apart from the hands, none of the pieces have shown up since! -

I didn’t follow the entire discussion on Discord, but the rumour started with a leaker saying the set had a different name other than “UT-AT”, but I don’t know how that turned into the TX-130 rumour afterwards. My hope is that the set is still a UT-AT, but the name includes the words “hover” and/or “tank” and that’s how the confusion started Maybe it’s just me huffing copium, but I don’t wanna lose the only non-MF ROTS set this summer And the only new vehicle too, for that matter! -
Marvel Superheroes 2025 - Rumors & Discussion

For one thing, we have the entire set list of the year and there’s no X-Men set to be seen Then, a leaker confirmed it was fake (forgot who it was, I think fateful?) -

That would’ve required two new pieces though, one for the head (since a printed nose would’ve been inconsistent with the minidoll characters) and the other for the hair, so I can see why they went for the established piece -

This is SW we’re talking about, which operates on a completely different scale of obscurity, compared to other franchises If characters we clearly see on screen can already be classified as obscure, what do we do with characters that appear in one scene of a show? Or in one single comic issue? Or ones that are only mentioned once in a book? There are tiers to this, with large ranges… I mean, we get large-scale models of ships that would NEVER be released as regular sets in a million years, if they were featured in any other franchise. The only one that gets close is HP, but probably because they run out of things to do otherwise -

I’m not disputing that Quidditch is an iconic and popular aspect of HP, but putting it on the same level as Hogwarts Castle, the Hogwarts Express, and Diagon Alley is a bit much As @Gorilla94 says, a $200 set can be justified, but anything above that is stretching it. Just by its nature as a ball sport, it makes a lot more sense to have playsets rather than a big display model. -

And of course people online are already spitballing ridiculous ideas It’s a GWP, so the best we can hope for is like one or two new prints. As long as it’s not more damn Clones, I’ll be happy -

Random civilians in licensed sets are very rare, so this is a nice addition! They probably all reuse prints from other sets, but still I’d have preferred JJJ like in the old set, but if they go for screen accuracy… -

Take this with a grain of salt, but one of the leakers on the Brick Tap Discord server now thinks the UT-AT might actually be a TX-130 instead What does that vehicle have to do with Galactic Marines? And how is that supposed to be a $150 set when the last three versions were 50, 25, and 40 bucks respectively?! I swear, the August wave gets worse every time we hear new rumours -

A larger Quidditch set is fairly realistic, but who‘d drop $500 on such a set?! A Quidditch Pitch set being one of the two most expensive HP sets just sounds wrong to me And I‘m shuddering just thinking about how repetitive the building process would be -
They haven‘t worked with Amazon before, and personally I hope it stays that way. Amazon trying to turn 007 into a „MCU-style cinematic universe“ sounds absolutely terrible and I‘d rather TLG stay away from that lunacy

An upgrade is definitely overdue. The old one was pretty bad, even back in the day. I mean, Leia’s face with Anakin‘s hair? Seriously? She‘s now appeared in ROTJ, deleted scenes of ROTS, TCW, Rebels, Andor, RO, and Ahsoka. If those aren‘t enough appearances to justify a new minifig, I don‘t know what is If they can include Dodonna in an X-Wing set, they can also easily throw her in the next rebel starfighter. The ministry of silly hats maybe? It‘d be pretty hilarious if they used a chunk of this year‘s budget on something that insignificant.
