Some licensed parts may enter the general inventory (like lightsaber hilts, the One Ring, and Uruk-Hai swords), but the AC heads will most likely remain exclusive. Nintendo is notoriously protective of their IPs This is a LEGO House exclusive set. We will sooner see new pieces in advent calendars or paper bags before that Way too niche to be worth such an investment.

Wishlist: Future Star Wars Sets and Minifigures

I’m still miffed about the 2020 set they cancelled. I wonder what led to that decision and if we may see it another attempt at some point in the future -

That’s not the point, the set sure is coming, I’m talking about the “10-15 minifigs” rumour that seems to be a baseless claim Rumours of a DC set having more than 5 minifigs immediately set off my BS alarm -

You mean brand new minifig? Because Plo has appeared in quite a few TCW sets. Again, this is not indicative of any paradigm shift because no such paradigm can be proven to exist The design team’s thinking surely is not “which ship can we design as a MF so that we reuse a certain minifig” but rather “which ship would do well as a MF” and then they pick an appropriate minifig for it. Granted, Plo isn’t exactly an obvious choice, but that’s still not proof of any significant change for the MF line when they’ve done things like that before. Also, this whole discussion misses the forest for the trees. We know about every single retail and D2C set coming out this year. Regardless of what MF conspiracy you believe in, there is no opportunity for Plo to show up elsewhere, unless he nonsensically gets thrown in the MTT And I’m going to use it even more now -

That's what I'm hoping for! It's definitely the most important still missing core location, and so far every wave has included at least one iconic building. Chances are good I'd say Redd's boat would be nice as well, but I don't really see that at any of those price points, sadly. He's near the top of my minifig wishlist for this theme, so fingers crossed he shows up sooner than later! -

It’s a good example though People argued that the Rex Y-Wing MF must mean a minifig-scale is on the horizon, based on the perceived pattern of MFs featuring vehicles that had minifig-scale versions before. Of course, they conveniently forgot about the Bantha and the blue Resistance A-Wing MFs And yeah, still no minifig-scale version in sight for any of those three. My point is that these are not actual patterns, at least not ones set in stone. A 2025 MF having a (temporarily) exclusive minifig is completely plausible. -

The difference is that the top part hasn’t been seen since 2015 while the bottom part was last used in the first Mandalorian set in 2019 before returning this year. We still don’t know how mould retirements work (e.g., if they keep them around longer based on the likelihood they’ll ever be reused or if they all have a similar life expectancy), but a 4-year difference might be significant -

As I said, we only had one yearly MF recently, so there’s a lot less data to establish patterns compared to before. None of the vehicles they picked needed new minifigs, so it makes perfect sense they reused existing ones. Besides, if there really was a new (unwritten) rule that MFs had to reuse minifigs, Plo would already break it because the set is scheduled for June, and we know for a fact he won’t appear in any set before that In essence, you see a pattern where there likely isn’t one. There’s no reason to assume they changed the “rules” just because none of the most recent MF minifigs were new. -

I’m actually amazed the idea even got to the concept phase Human-dino hybrids would be outrageously stupid. Even a crossover with F&F would be less dumb than that The hybrids and mutants we’ve seen so far are (hopefully!) as far as they’ll ever go with genetic shenanigans in JW. This isn’t Alien, nor should it be. -

Of course the leaks can be wrong, but he’s specifically rumoured not to be included in the set, so I’m not getting my hopes up If he was included after all, I guess they’d only use the lower part. Worked well enough for the recent comic-inspired version! -

Not trying to crush anyone’s dreams, but we still don’t know if a.clay even said anything about Arkham recently. There’s nothing on Reddit or Discord at least, and he usually posts updates in both places. Maybe it was in an IG story? Thebrickreporter isn’t exactly reliable, so I take anything he says with an entire saltshaker, unless someone else can back up his claims -

Well, I’m not saying he’ll stay exclusive forever, after all there’s nothing stopping them from inserting him into another set further down the line My point is just there’s nothing to suggest Plo can’t stay exclusive to the MF for now. His presence alone does not suggest there’s another unknown or cancelled TCW/RotS set this year. That said, he could easily appear in a 1HY 2026 set, along with some of his CTs, but that’s beside the point. -
All the previous PotC ships had cloth sails, and recent large-scale models like the Endurance did as well. What’s the alternative, plastic sails, or worse, brick-built ones? I don’t think we have to worry about that in the slightest. And you can’t have a pirate ship without cannons! The pieces are still around, as evidenced by 10320, so they have no good excuse not to use them. Just don’t expect more than a small handful of them!

With all the other new pieces already required, I doubt they’d spend money on a new raptor head piece. The existing one still works well enough IMO I’d rather they use the budget on new pieces for the missing dinos (i.e., Aquilops and the mutant) -

We‘ve had exclusive pieces (U-Wing pilot helmet) and exclusive characters (Tallie Lintra & an unnamed Resistance skim speeder pilot) in Microfighters before, so I‘m not sure why everybody‘s suddenly convinced there must be another set with Plo coming New moulded piece are not exclusive to larger sets in general, and Microfighters and BPs are no exception. The only argument you can make is that we haven‘t seen exclusive characters or pieces in a MF in a while, which is true, but none of the vehicles they picked recently would‘ve required one, and since there‘s only one a year now, there wasn‘t much of a chance for that anyway. -

What do you want the toy companies to sell then? Abstract concepts? If you intend to go into a movie blindly, you have to avoid all marketing, and that includes toys. -

What exactly does it spoil though? As I said, „dinosaur appears in dinosaur movie“ isn‘t exactly a spoiler, even if they‘re new species. A titanosaurus appearing doesn‘t reveal anything about the plot. It‘s the dino equivalent of treating casting announcements for new characters as spoilers
