Pictures of the Coral Reef and Pig House sets have finally been revealed! The Coral Reef looks appropriately colourful. I appreciate the inclusion of the two puffer fish and the Drowned looks great! Too bad his signature weapon is missing The best thing about the pig house is the play feature to blow it up

Didn’t they cut that battle out because they thought it’d be too similar to the Battle of Hogwarts? I kind of agree with that decision, from a moviegoer perspective. The Burrow scene is indeed quite controversial (I’m pretty indifferent towards it myself), but at least it led to two amazing sets

Meh, the teenage drama nonsense is a big part of both the book and the film, so they’re on the same level to me But calling it “garbage” goes a bit too far, for me at least. I still like it but not nearly as much as the rest. The parts with Slughorn, the Voldy flashbacks, and the Inferi cave scene basically saved it for me

Besides, 2021 already is an anniversary of sorts, given that DH part 2 celebrates its 10th anniversary too, so the DH sets are a celebration in their own right I must confess I’m a bit biased here since both parts of DH are among my favourites in the franchise. I generally gravitate towards franchise finales, because that’s when sh*t really goes down IMO, DH part 1 just cannot be beaten in terms of atmosphere, so I hope they manage to capture some of that magic in set form

I certainly hope so. I want the summer wave to be a DH extravaganza with as few other sets as possible

Agreed. She’s in desperate need for an update (still laughing at Leia with TCW Anakin’s hairpiece over there) and there’s plenty of opportunities to do so. Maybe if we get sets based on the Cassian Andor series?

I only listed characters that never got the minifig treatment (with the exception of the Senate) If variants were to be included, we’d be here all day The ST has been covered very well over the years, which I’m very happy about. Nonetheless, I hope they’ll continue to sprinkle in ST sets in the future, even though there’s not that much left they haven’t done yet. Give me Babu Frik and the Senate and I’m all set Not sure if I agree fully. If they release a set with Kuiil and a blurrg or two in the near future, all will be forgiven. If they don’t, I’ll join your band Good point. Some of the characters I’ve mentioned (like Dryden, the Senate, or Galen Erso, not so sure about Saw) could easily be released in ACs, polybags or books. The Maul minifig from the recent encyclopedia was the Solo version after all, which goes to show they haven’t completely abandoned the spin-offs yet

Maybe in the next X-Wing released in 2023/24 It’s pretty obvious they’re struggling with including any new minifigs in OT sets, because there’s so little left. And Imperial officers / Rebel pilots are pretty boring variations IMO Having Dodonna as the highlight of the wave is pretty telling. Compare this to other properties, where the list of missing characters is embarassing at points, especially the shows and spin-offs. It’s mind-boggling to me that Shmi, Boss Nass, most of the CIS leadership, ROTS Cody, Bo-Katan, Galen Erso, Saw Gerrera, and Dryden Vos still don’t have a minifig representation to this day. Babu Frik, the TROS version of the Senate, 90% of the main characters of Resistance, and Kuiil are also notable emissions. In essence, I’m fine with more OT repeats (as they have no choice there), as long as they balance that out a bit with new minifigs from everything non-OT. Throw us collectors a bone or two, TLG

A new picture of the pig house set has leaked (probably just a better shot of the retailer catalogue). The pig house itself looks funny and fits right in with the chicken and sheep builds, but too bad there doesn’t seem to be anything new here in terms of mobs or accessories

Apologies for the vagueness of my first post I didn’t want to give away which project the rumour was about, but I should have clarified three things: It’s not about Mando It’s a toy leak and thus inherently less spoiler-y than story leaks The project is set in the middle of the timeline, meaning certain characters showing up is not as big of a surprise as in other projects like Mando

Well, considering how long it takes for modulars to be designed, there simply was not enough time to come up with a replacement and outright cancelling the set wasn’t really an option either... In the end, it’s just unfortunate timing. Just like CMF S4, which included a Geisha and a hazmat guy I remember some newspapers reporting on that... Do they have any idea how toy production works (rhetorical question ofc)

Depends on whether there will be sets based on that particular project or not But I’m fine with letting this topic rest for the time being, unless Yakface dig up some LEGO-related rumours too

It‘s about another upcoming project and the rumour is backed by Yakface, so it‘s not just any old guff Since Yakface mainly deal in toy leaks, it’s probably not even really a spoiler, but I‘m still very careful about it. Don‘t want to spoil it for anyone here The reason I brought it even up in the first place is that it’s additional ammunition for the case to finally give a specific character their well-earned minifig representation, that‘s it

Apparently, will also show up in Now they REALLY have no excuse any more not to give that character the minifig treatment they deserve

The only TIEs I would be happy about are a TIE Outlander, Reaper, Bomber, or Interceptor, in that very order TIE Advanced are overdone at this point Edit: TIE Defender or a Mining Guild version would also be ok
