Jurassic Properties 2024 - Rumors & Discussion
BrickBob Studpants replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
While I’d definitely like to see some TLW sets (since it’s technically the only JW movie not to have any), I doubt this is it Nothing about the stego set indicates what it’s based on, and while the trailer itself does sound like TLW, the black and blue T-Rex certainly does not Sure, TLG tend to go for more eye-popping colours with a lot of their creatures, dinos included, but this would be reallllllly far off from what we see on screen -

BrickBob Studpants replied to Megbricks's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Granted, it could be removable, but I doubt they‘d introduce a new hairpiece so similar to the existing one, just with an accessory hole Then again, they did just that with the Phase 2 Clonetrooper helmets No, it’s the runner’s from S25 -

There’s no way to attach that antenna, so it has to be a dual-moulded piece You could try to cut it off, but that would leave an ugly mark -

Yeah, but the antenna is moulded into it, so it‘s not gonna be useful in that way Looks the same to me, namely the runner‘s from S25 -

A much better picture of the leaflet can be found in the usual place, along with a picture of the box My favourites are still the alien tourist, the trans-purple guy, and the dark blue insectoid alien And it’s now confirmed to be S26! -

I like it a lot! Cool build based on a cool scene with fitting minifigs. While I also would’ve preferred Shocktroopers, the 501st troopers are neat too, even though I hope this is the last time we’re seeing them for a looooooong time Now we only need to see the TIE Interceptor, the polybag (which allegedly is also an Interceptor), and the GWP set, and the May wave is complete! -
Indiana Jones 2023 - Rumors & Discussion
BrickBob Studpants replied to Pulp Detective's topic in LEGO Licensed
That‘s exactly why I‘m hoping for the HD picture to surface! As a purist, I‘m not interested in actually recreating it, but I‘d like to at least see pictures of a recreation! People have already tried (including instructions and parts lists even), but they‘re gonna be way more accurate with an HD picture to work with! Also, people are already working on custom minifigs, and those will obviously benefit as well -

Can’t believe it’s me of all people who resurrects this thread, but I did say I’d come back if there was anything worth discussing I‘m gonna preface this with the following (looking at you, turtle guy): The theme is still dead. 77014 has been cancelled. Period. Now the news: Unless you frequent the LEGO Indy subreddit, you probably missed that we may see an HD picture of the ToD set soon. I repeat, the set is still cancelled. It‘s just that leakers got their hands on a full render. There‘s proof, because a close-up picture of the Mola Ram minifig is floating around. I’ve seen it myself, and it’s legit. Awesome minifig btw, which stings so much. It‘s currently unclear if the whole picture will be posted as scheduled (April 1st, no joke) because of some leaker drama though… Ultimately, it‘s just more salt into our wounds, so decide for yourself if you wanna check it out -

*artist’s bow* Personally, I’m okay with Maul, Qui-Gon, and Ani being the only TPM minifigs in the set. Sure, Panaka or Padme would’ve been nice additions, but personally I feel the value is still there (especially with Saw included, but y’all knew I’d say that ) On the whole, I’m satisfied with the TPM content this year. Sure, it’s not all that much, but still more than what other movies got for their anniversaries -

The Infiltrator itself is nothing special, but it's so surreal to finally see a Saw Gerrera minifig with my own two eyes Thought this day would never come! Only took... 8 years Dang, time sure flies by!! -

Wizarding World 2024 - Rumors & Discussion
BrickBob Studpants replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
Usually some time in April, rarely in May! The earliest reveal date was in 2022 (April 8th) and the latest in 2018 (May 16th). The 2023 sets were revealed May 1st, the 2021 range April 15th, the 2020 sets April 28th, and the 2019 ones on April 25th. -

Three animals pieces from the upcoming City sets leaked yesterday, so there‘s a fair chance we might get to see some troll parts soon! Fingers crossed! -

Isn‘t the troll like a full meter taller than Hagrid though? I can’t imagine a combination of the long legs with a special torso and long arms looking any good I‘m with @Accio Lego, he requires all-new parts to look accurate -

It doesn‘t. There is an anniversary minifig that‘s still unaccounted for, but it‘s not gonna be included in any of the sets scheduled for May -

That‘s pretty hyperbolic, isn‘t it? Sure, Gamora was nowhere to be seen in the GotG Vol 3 sets, but there‘s no way they‘re excluding a member of the Fantastic Four. Four. It‘s in the name! They can‘t get away with not having all four Granted, they‘ve omitted the last three MCU villains, but I don‘t see why this means that we shouldn‘t trust them anymore with featuring full hero teams. -

Yeah, first time I'm hearing this! Even if it was true, how come we already'd know about it? For instance, we only learned about the helmet line ending when the midi-scale sets were rumoured! Unless we hear about a replacement concept, I'm not buying it
