LEGO Pokémon 2026 - Rumours & Discussion

I think only Pikachu does, the others are merely compatible with the Smart Bricks. At least that‘s what the list implies -
LEGO Pokémon 2026 - Rumours & Discussion
BrickBob Studpants replied to BrickBob Studpants's topic in LEGO Licensed
Not anytime soon We‘re already getting a $200 18+ Pikachu in late February / early March, and that one includes a Pokéball, so definitely won‘t be „life-scale“. Maybe in a coupla years ^^ Pikachu will be the theme‘s X-Wing or Hogwarts Express and thus always be on shelves, one way or another -
LEGO Pokémon 2026 - Rumours & Discussion

We finally have a partial set list for the 2HY wave: 72156 Squirtle‘s Training Buggy Adventure 72157 Charmander‘s Wild Encounter with Geodude 72164 Pikachu‘s Training House (with Smart Brick) 72166 Cubone vs Gengar‘s Ghost Challenge 72167 Jolteon vs Charizard 721xx Scorbunny Evolution 721xx Stadium Bus (with Larvitar & Croagunk) 721xx Eevee Evolution 721xx Dojo House (with Riolu) 721xx Mewtwo Lab And there‘s apparently even more! Heavy focus on Gen I, as expected, but I‘m really glad to see Pokémon from other gens too. So far we have II, IV, and VIII then! -
Jurassic Properties 2025 - Rumors & Discussion
BrickBob Studpants replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
The smaller one sure, but the larger one is unlikely to be a diorama. At almost 2k pieces, it‘d be the largest diorama beside the Deku Tree and the new Death Star It‘s probably another fossil. Maybe a velociraptor? -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
BrickBob Studpants replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
That‘s still an unsubstantiated rumour though I‘ve seen the video, but since it‘s just a random Youtuber without any previous credits to his name (as far as I‘m aware), I‘m not putting any stock into it. The rumour as such is plausible enough, but I‘ll wait for an established leaker to confirm/deny it. -

I don’t recall Rivendell ever being rumoured to be a microscale build, but I could well be wrong about that I just don‘t see how they could do Minas Tirith justice in anything other than microscale. Maybe the top-most section where the coronation takes place could be realised in minifig scale, but I think most people want the city itself to be represented and especially the super-iconic massive rock face protruding from the city (Does it have a name btw? Pretty much anything does in Tolkien‘s world, after all) If I can‘t recreate Denethor‘s awesome death scene, what‘s even the point?! -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours

I definitely wouldn't mind a second D&D series, but I haven't heard about this rumour before. Who's the source? -

Sorry, I misunderstood you Agreed, Maul was a lame choice and didn’t fit in with any other anniversary figure. It was more in line with the 20th anniversary, almost as if someone didn’t get the memo that the 25th anniversary had a different gimmick -
LEGO Star Wars Set Discussion 2025 - READ FIRST POST!!!
BrickBob Studpants replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I have to disagree here. TROS Palpatine is by far my favourite SW book minifig so far As for Boss Nass: it‘s true that we can’t say for sure they’ll never ever introduce a new piece through a book, but I’d still say that’s unlikely. There’s no real reason not to go with literally any other character that doesn’t require a new piece, whereas Babu Frik is not only a huge selling point for the AC but pretty pivotal. It’s his workshop after all! And there’s the distinct possibility they’re gonna reuse the piece for other Anzellans. -

Agreed. I prefer my Imperials with cool helmets rather than showing their faces. I know Stormies are supposed to be elite troops, but Army Troopers just don’t scream SW to me. They’re too generic-looking for me to get excited over -

Unless there’s a wave scheduled for August or September, these two sets will likely be all we’re getting next year -

Based on what though? The anniversary? Because looking at this theme’s trajectory, what makes the most sense is to finally bin it -

I like the way you think They could easily reuse Gothmog and add a generic orc! -
Indeed. Visitors think I have a large collection (6000+ sets, 1.65 million pieces, 11k minifigs), but even that pales in comparison to what these two have in their possession The official world record is held by someone in Australia, but I'm not sure if he actually outdoes Duckbricks and Bricksie!

Jurassic Properties 2025 - Rumors & Discussion

If anything, they would introduce more articulated animal pieces for younger fans, not adults 18+ sets tend to have brick-built creatures -

A mûmakil, mostly They’re iconic enough to warrant a set on their own! -
DC Superheroes 2025 - Rumors & Discussion
BrickBob Studpants replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
Well yes, but actually no It’s true they’re not confirmed to be Marvel sets yet, but we already have 4 Batman sets scheduled for next year, so there’s only room for one or two more going by current standards. -
Lord of the Rings Ongoing Discussion
BrickBob Studpants replied to Momotof's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Microscale is the only way to do it justice. Minas Tirith is a city after all And as @zoth33 points out, the way it’s phrased it sounds like there might be an interior at the back, the best of both worlds in my opinion ^^ The only thing I dislike about the rumours so far is the distinct lack of a certain flail-wielding badass. I get it, they likely wanna save him for a Battle of the Pelennor Fields set, but they could easily include him in two sets, no? -
Wizarding World 2025 - Rumors & Discussion
BrickBob Studpants replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
Highly doubtful. I don’t see any reason for them to shift gears like that when all the other expansions so far have been regular sets. Two huge castle sections getting released only 3 months apart would also bear the risk of self-cannibalising, plus D2C sets are more stand-alone Gringotts for instance feels like a complete model, even without the rest of DA. I hate to say it, but a Quidditch Pitch set has risen in the ranks of a potential D2C set because there’s not much else they haven’t tackled yet. Unless they start remaking previous D2C sets… (please don’t) -

Piece counts for the Fortnite 2HY wave: 77079: 210 pcs 77080: 314 pcs 77081: 1230 pcs 77082: 1963 pcs Kinda funny gap there, going from 314 to over 1200 pieces between the second-smallest and second-largest sets of the wave -

I didn’t know about the age recommendation, so yeah, definitely a castle extension then! Excited to see what it is, but PLEASE, can we finally move away from PS-based castle sections now?! I’d even take CoS now! -

Piece counts for the summer sets: 76462: 545 76469: 379 76471: 788 76473: 2164 76474: 817 76475: 244 76477: 480 Looks like another huge castle section is coming! It has even more pieces than the main tower! It could also be a D2C set, but I doubt it. The others are all too small for a flagship Hogwarts extension, after all. Edit: Ninja’d!
