Turtle getting into Star Wars surely wasn‘t on my 2026 bingo card But seriously, in addition to what @CloneCommando99 recommended, I would start by watching the movies and shows if you haven‘t done so already, and then grow your LEGO collection based on what eras you like the most (at the risk of no sets being available right now). If you want a recommendation in which order to watch the movies and shows, the best way in my opinion is roughly chronologically in release order. So the original trilogy, prequel trilogy, sequel trilogy, Rogue One, Solo, The Clone Wars, Rebels, The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett, Ahsoka, and Skeleton Crew. Kenobi, Andor, and The Acolyte can be watched at any point after the movies, and The Bad Batch plus the „Tales of“ shorts should definitely be watched after The Clone Wars, while Resistance is best viewed after the sequel trilogy. The reason I place TCW and Rebels before the Mandoverse is because these shows prominently use characters from both animated shows. They‘re not mandatory by any means if you only wanna watch the live-action material, but it certainly enhances the experience ^^ And both shows are great!

The new trailer shows that even more members of Baroque Works than expected will appear in S2, with more already confirmed for S3. I wonder how many of them will make it into the upcoming sets! The Unluckies probably stand next to no chance, as much as I’d like to have them

I‘m not much of a Trekkie myself, but I also think ST isn‘t as popular of a franchise as it used to be, despite having multiple shows on air ^^ There‘s a reason they picked TNG over a newer show or TOS. That said, there‘s still plenty of set potential, but like LOTR, they will most likely focus on 18+ sets. I definitely want minifigs of the original crew at least! We‘ll see how well the Gollum film will do, but I‘d say the LOTR movies are also timeless classics in their own right. That‘s what the sets are based on, after all

I meant the dueling function. Figures with short capes might be easier to put on there with the SB attached, same goes for the throne and the A-Wing. Sure, the guards aren’t smart, but kids might not make that distinction Then again, this has never been an issue for other sets before…

Nah. My guess is that they gave the guards short capes to accomodate the play feature. After all, kids might want Luke to fight the guards first I wouldn‘t worry since Mando just got his regular long cape in the speeder set. There‘s no reason whatsoever for all future capes to be short ones ^^

I would‘ve liked to see a Clocktower (despite it already having been remade twice), mostly because it would‘ve been a neat opportunity to get a new Gambledore. With the East Wing likely being based on CoS, maybe we‘ll be more lucky with another expansion set

Is that really the case though? Of course that depends on what you consider to be specialised, but in my experience, there are fewer highly-specialised pieces than in the early 2000s, for instance. New slope and wedge pieces are incredibly versatile, sometimes by accident, like the slope piece initially developed for the Porsche which then worked perfectly for Toothless‘ ears Outside of minifigs, I‘d say you rarely find new pieces that work only for one specific purpose. Especially in the context of buildable figures and other 18+ sets, new parts are an exception rather than the norm.

If that’s the correct number, it has to be a Superheroes AC since it’s sandwiched right between Ravager Groot and the Spidey & Doc Ock mechs I doubt they‘d bring it back already, so it‘s probably a mix-up.

We have some additional set names: 21592 Chicken Rider Desert Attack (428 pcs) 21593 Surviving the First Night (301 pcs) 21597 The Ghast Station (754 pcs) I suppose the names are translated (from French, if it’s the same source as the other recent leaks), since 21592 should be a Chicken Jockey, no? Unless they purposefully want to avoid the meme 21593 sounds like a remake of the 2014 set, but 21597 definitely piqued my interest. Fingers crossed it comes with a Happy Ghast, or better yet, the entire lifecycle from died Ghast, Ghastling, Happy Ghast, to harnessed Happy Ghast!

I have another one: I never really liked either colour and was happy to see them be permanently replaced by trans-bright green and trans-orange Every time I saw them in a set after the new colours were introduced, I just wished they were their non-neon counterparts instead. Wish granted! Even as a kid I didn’t like them because I was a sucker for transparent parts (still am) and didn’t consider them to be truly transparent. Also, trans-neon green in particular ruined green lightsabers for the longest time and I will never forgive them for the trans-neon green crystal in that Power Miners set that should’ve had a trans-yellow one!!

That’s an awesome detail to include! I always appreciate customisability options ^^ Sure, the scale is arbitrary, just as it is with Star Wars UCS sets, but the starter trio wouldn’t look anywhere near as impressive at a lower piece count

Exactly! As someone who usually laments remakes (especially OT ones), I welcome them if there‘s still something new to them, and the M&G sets all deliver on that front ^^ New colour schemes and minifigs are enough to convince me

I don’t think the set really needs a fourth figure. Jango would be a nice addition, but he’s already been in other sets recently, and no other characters fit the scene. Padmé perhaps, but she’d be in a nightgown Slander!! He’s the focal point of an entire scene But yeah, wouldn’t make too much sense to have him here, just because he’s on the same planet in the same movie. Might as well include Jocasta Nu or Sleazebaggano Unless I’m overlooking something, she’s the only yellow minifig from a licensed theme that hasn’t received a flesh update by now. Well, except for some of the Studios minifigs like pseudo-Steven Spielberg.

Could be a coincidence, but the first-ever pre-orderable GWP being a Pokémon one is suspicious They’ve probably seen the horrendous videos recorded at Costco and decided not to subject LEGO Store employees to this madness

All three sets can be pre-ordered, including the GWP! That’s a welcome change ^^

And we have a picture if the Pikachu & Pokéball set! Pikachu looks a bit chipmunky, but it’s a cute model and I like how dynamic the pose is!
