LEGO Star Wars Set Discussion 2026 - READ FIRST POST!!!
BrickBob Studpants replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Fingers crossed!! We don’t know if he’s in the movie though, so the set may come with Trapper Wolf instead, who is confirmed to appear. Wouldn’t say no to a Filoni minifig Also seems like a good set opportunity for Zeb and/or Ward! -

I dunno, purposeful leaks just don’t strike me as realistic As soon as a licenser is involved, things get hairy. Wouldn’t they need to gain permission, leaving a potential paper trail? And all that effort just to see the reaction of the few people who even care about leaks in the first place? It’s not like they can still incorporate any feedback, and creating buzz for sets that are still 8 months away doesn’t make much sense either. Just my two cents The only proven leak like that I can think of was the Deadpool test footage, courtesy of Ryan Reynolds himself. And that was a rogue maneuver! -

Oh whoops, I didn’t realise there’s another rumoured set! Judging by the price, it’s probably also an 18+ set ^^ -

I think you guys are right and the Dobby set could actually be a remake of Dobby’s Release. The set has a similar piece count as the 2023 buildable Dobby, and so far, remakes of buildable figures mostly had a different scale to set them apart from their precursors. A same-scale remake only 3 years later would be quite silly Or maybe it’s a Shell Cottage set with his grave -

Knockturn Alley and the big Hogwarts expansion should both include a patronus, and if Dobby is indeed a buildable figure, I expect one of the two unknown sets to be a playset. Maybe even both, since we also have the House Symbol and whatever the plant set is as buildable objects / creatures to fulfill the quota Moreover, the D2C set surely features a patronus too since the Hogwarts Icons set also tied into the anniversary. Thus I’m leaning towards at least 3 or 4 patroni this summer ^^ -

I think they‘ll want to keep some of the minifigs exclusive to the Baratie, so Mihawk is pretty unlikely. Fingers crossed for Smoker and Tashigi! -

Not much traffic in this thread, but still Two of the 2HY sets are 21594 Skeleton and 21595 Ender Dragon ^^ Another Ender Dragon already? Meh. The skeleton is probably a statue in scale with last year‘s Creeper -
Lord of the Rings Ongoing Discussion

Not that I’m defending them, but how is it a swindle? People get what they pay for, no? If someone pays $100 for a minifig they could get in a currently available set, that’s kinda their problem Sets geared towards kids between 2012 and 2014 when new movies actively came out didn’t do super well, while sets geared towards adults a decade later without any new movies being around (ignoring RoP and the upcoming HfG) do really well. They could still release smaller sets later on, but there’s an easy conclusion to draw from the above -

The idea of Sigourney Weaver just playing herself in the movie got a good chuckle out of me Aren’t the RC & Anzellan ship scheduled for May and the Sandcrawler & AT-AT for June? ^^ -

Finally some set names: 75644 Giants of Elbaf (shouldn’t it be spelled Elbaph?) ($70) 75643 Tony Tony Chopper ($70) 75646 Garp’s ship ($170) Interesting they went for Garp’s ship specifically. Makes sense though, with the iconic dog figurehead ^^ Hopefully it still comes with some S2 minifigs! Glad to see Dorry and Brogy getting their own set! -

Ohhhhh, good point!! I just assumed it was gonna be a remake of the 2023 figure, but you’re right, based on the set name it could be a playset! A wave without at least one buildable figure is suspicious though. At least one of the unknown sets has to be one! -

A leaker might use that wording to refer to a traditional non-themed series, but surely not TLG in a catalogue. They would simply call it Series 29. Using the word “classic” has implications, especially since we already know about 2 of the minifigs. And it’s gonna be 12, as usual -

Someone posted a pic on Reddit, but TLG usually provide pdf versions of the catalogues at some point ^^ It’s the usual CMF preview with a blacked-out minifig, saying “Classic Series 29 coming in June”. -
Guessing Game - Minifigure Collectibles Series 29

Is it fair for me to only join in now? After all, when you guys made your predictions, we didn‘t know it was gonna be a „classic“ series. In a new catalogue, they call S29 „classic“. Looks like we can expect more throwback minifigs then!
