Marvel Superheroes 2024 - Rumors & Discussion

I like the sound of that line-up! Sure, there‘s a ton of repeats, but finally having Prof X and Gambit plus a more affordable Jean is so cool And Morph is a nice addition as well! -

As much as I‘d like to see that, we have to assume it’s a Skywalker Saga set, since it’d otherwise be the only non-OT/PT set to feature an anniversary minifig As for the BP discussion, I really hope they don’t continue spamming Clone ones, so sick of them by now What I’d like to see next year instead are two Imperial BPs: one Mando-based with three Stormies and a Incinerator Trooper, and a Nighttrooper BP with three Nighttroopers plus a zombie Deathtrooper Something along those lines would be fantastic! -

Absolutely beautiful Love both the exterior and the interior, especially the brick-built eye, and then the minifigs They all look fantastic!! I really like the new orc helmet too, didn‘t expect that! Funny that the rumoured Nazgûl has been replaced by Gothmog, but I don‘t mind that one bit! His missing arm being „naked“ instead is a decent compromise. And we‘re still getting a Nazgûl in the Fell beast GWP set! -

Really like the two playsets and especially the new dinos, but that buildable ankylo (Bumpy?) gives me the creeps -

I‘m a bit late on this, but love how the Eye of Sauron looks in that teaser! Hope the leakers are right and the reveal will happen tomorrow Also, surprised to hear the GWP will be a fell beast, like some have predicted! But as I’ve said before, they won’t introduce new pieces in a limited GWP set. So unless somebody confused the Mouth of Sauron with the Witch King in the D2C minifig line-up, there’s no chance in bloody MORDOR that the latter will show up in that set. Well, not with his iconic helmet at least! He could still be included as a generic Nazgûl My guess would be a Nazgûl and one each of the two orc variants from the D2C set. -

We’ve known for a while that neither the Maleficent diorama nor the Donald figure would be coming this year since there were no Disney set numbers that weren‘t already accounted for Next year is always a possibility, but it‘s still a bit weird that only two of the survey leak sets don‘t get released this year (or at all, it we‘re unlucky), and both of them being Disney sets. -

I knew the wands would be in an accessory bag! Creating 6 new moulded pieces would have been madness, and the pieces that come in accessory bags technically only require one mould Unless I’m overlooking something, HP is thus the first licensed theme to get two of these in parallel, the other being the spell effects (which I still hope show up in other colours). If they make a set depicting the climax of OotP, they could even include both of them in the same set! Still curious why they didn‘t introduce the Elder Wand here. Granted, having it in multiple colours wouldn‘t make much sense, but it‘s more important and visually distinctive than all of the other wands and thus worthy of a unique design. Or they could create a unique moulded piece just for that in the future -

Love the sound of that line-up! Looks like we lost evil Chewy tho… Or maybe he was never considered to begin with -

That is indeed delusional. The landing pad would have to be several times its current size to hold that set (even just from a statical point of view), and you would have to multiply that factor by 2 for the volume if everything still has the same proportions. Twice the area means 4 times the volume. 1k? I think that would be closer to a 5-10k set -

Oh whoops My memory fails me yet again!! Still, I wouldn‘t have expected BD-1 to be included since all the other anniversary minifigs represent one character while this would‘ve been two. …Watch me be proven wrong yet again in a few weeks by the young Leia minifig coming with Lola -

I like the ISD quite a bit, even though the minifig selection is not quite as exquisit as initially thought Love the Cal Kestis minifig! Sure, no poncho or BD-1, but I didn‘t expect either of those. After all, he had neither in that video recently Also, Renown‘s hint must refer to something else then! I knew he wouldn‘t do that just for Tarkin -

Right?! It’s my favourite set of this wave! The shaping and colours are just perfect, and it‘s impressive how they managed to capture all those crooked angles! The minifigs are fantastic too Also, interesting to have a set without a single main character, especially at this price point! Even the previous Beauxbatons carriage still included Hagrid -

Have they ever revealed two separate waves in such quick succession though? They usually wait for one wave to drop at least before advertising the next one The only exception I can think of was last year with the August and September waves, which were so close together they just had to reveal the latter before the former were released I‘m expecting them to be featured in the 2HY catalogue (which is how the August waves in 2021 and 2023 were revealed/leaked), which would mean a reveal in early June. -

This theme must have an insane budget. 7 years in, and we're still getting new moulded pieces for accessories! The new flasks, potion splash pieces, and wands are just awesome I wonder if the wands come in accessory bags since that would technically only require one new mould -

Yes. The big one is set 43247 with 1445 pieces, priced at $129.99 and also releasing June 1st. Not sure if it's a D2C set (explaining why we haven't seen it yet), but it's 18+ -
