[OL - Mar FB1] Hotel de Ville, Dragonstone
Brandon Stark replied to Brandon Stark's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Thanks! This is actually based on the Quebec Parliament Building and the City Hall of Quebec, both in Quebec City, which I've visited. As for your advice, I will probably go back and add some of the decorations, as I wasn't totally satisfied it. Edit: I went back and added something behind the windows to make it more realistic.- 4 replies

You're free to use my sigfig. Just don't use him against the Alliance. If you don't have the pieces, PM me and I can find a solution. DSC01312 by Brandon Stark, on Flickr

Oh, I wasn't aware that was the case. I was looking on the account sheets and it confused me.

Not really a mistake or anything, but is there any way to could transfer two of my builds, Batterie Royale, and Dragonstone City Hall to be owned by Dragonstone instead of by me? That way their income goes directly to the town bank.

Hotel de Ville de Dragonstone by Brandon Stark, on Flickr One of the first buildings to be built in Dragonstone is the Maison du Gouvernement, which is where the newly formed city council of the city meets and is the temporary residence of Mayor Brandon Stark and other important politicians in the city. Built with materials from the Old World and other Oleander colonies, the building is located in a square in the city center, called Place du Gouvernement. Workers have already done the lawn and built a cobblestone path. Outside, two Troupes de la Marine stand guard.

The Empire of Oleon: Sign-up and Discussion
Brandon Stark replied to Sebeus I's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
@Phred Also, my sigfig is now Brandon Lantell. The reason I'm telling you this is because the front page still has my old sigfig's name. -
The rocks, fig posing, and foliage are all stupendous. Looking forward to the next part of our crossover.

[OL - FB] Statue of Zeus in Astrapi
Brandon Stark replied to KotZ's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Your minifig posing is well done, especially on the statue. Nice job. -
Thanks! I didn't realize the bley pebble until after I posted. I believe the tents can be more out of focus, if you tilt the model some more, but I'm not sure. I was trying to get a dramatic shot with my sigfig looking down into a sea of tents, but I don't think it worked. Plus, there's not a lot you can do in LDD. Thank you! I'll have to experiment with a new tree technique to make it look more realistic. Thanks! I'm glad you like the wedge plates and boulder. Thank you! Yeah, I also like story crossovers, as it always makes stories more interesting.

[OL - Feb FB6] Crecopia Docks
Brandon Stark replied to Brandon Stark's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Thank you! I'm not very good at detail, but I will try some detail. The whole idea is that these buildings are recently constructed and have few to no wear, but I guess there are other ways to add detail to the building. I am experimenting with a new water technique right now though. Thanks! Your advice is great and I will hopefully be able to implement it into my next builds. But again, I'm not good at detail. Thanks! The build is a medium commerce, but one of the buildings is an artisan and the other is a residence. I will license the artisan and residence once I get enough doubloons. But I guess I should have put some more detail into the street. -

Like Captain Dee and Captain Genaro said, LDD is still fine. I'm one of the members who build in LDD.

Last I checked, Breshaun, Eltina, Lavalette, Acropolis, Crecopia, Dragonstone, Astrapi, Windfall, and Fatu Hiva were in Oleander hands, so therefore your argument is invalid. Unless you mean En Contra Oleon, but that didn't work out either, didn't it?

Fort Philip 1 by Brandon Stark, on Flickr Fort Philip 2 by Brandon Stark, on Flickr While Dragonstone continues to be built, Brandon ventured south with a small force of soldiers and some workers. He built Fort Philip, a fortified trading post named after the king at the edge of Oleander territory in Blueton. While the trading post's main goal is to open up trade with the natives and Corrington, it is also fortified, to act as a guard for the border, in case either the natives or Corrington turn hostile. While Oleander soldiers initially had some trouble with the forest, they were able to clear the forest and get the fort finished. As for now, neither the natives nor Corringtonians have been seen, so the fort is still a fort and not a trading post.

[OL - Feb FB5] Batterie Royale, Dragonstone
Brandon Stark replied to Brandon Stark's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Thanks! This battery is mainly to defend the harbor, not inland. However, I have another solution for the plants. Thank you! Why would you blast them when you could use them as a weapon against Corries? Thank you! Oh, we're not going to pollute the island. We have better plans. Thanks! I haven't tried using an irregular base yet, but I'll have to try. Glad to see someone enjoying my stories. I'm sorry, as an American, I have no idea what lebensraum is. Is it German?- 9 replies

Part 1, Chapter 1 Part 1, Chapter 2 Part 1, Chapter 3 This is a crossover with TitusV, and a continuation of Brandon Stark's story. If Blufiji isn't okay with this build being in the Reach, I will promptly remove it. Overlooking the Reach by Brandon Stark, on Flickr Brandon was observing the military encampment below from the top of a hill. The encampment, located in the Reach, capital of the Goblin Empire, was expanded by the arrival of his troops from Avalonia days ago. As he looked down upon row upon row of goblins, men, elves, and even some dwarves, he came to wonder if this force would even come close to defeating Raavage and the Spire. Behind him, Brandon noticed Lord Alric Drondil walking up the hill towards him. Lord Alric ruled the province in which Brandon was born, Drond's Fields. Though Brandon barely knew Lord Drondil then, he briefly knew his father, Balric, and later offered Alric aid in retaking his birthright from the usurper Garmaddon. Brandon was greeted Alric first. "Good day Lord Alric. It's a nice view, don't you think? Though we have more pressing matters to attend to." "Good day, Brandon. We've gotten word that war was already started in the north. While we've sent out our messengers, it seems Raavage is calling his followers also. It is now known that he has aid from the Drow, our enemy, and the Algus, Mitgardia's enemy. While I'm going to stay here with my soldiers to help Lord Gal Turok, Lord Vladivus in Shadowmere, could definitely use some aid." "It is my plan to aid Shadowmere. I will only stay in the Reach for a few days so my soldiers can rest and prepare for the war. In a few days or so, I will march north with my forces. Hopefully the forces of Zotharith along the way will join us. As for now, I've sent many Green Riders calling all the lords of Avalonia to help. Unfortunately, they don't listen to me like they do to their lords." "We are heavily outnumbered, though no doubt we're more trained and experienced. Still, this war is now not only contained to Nocturnus. The Mitgardians must be able to hold the main Algus advance from flooding the south, while, us Avalonians must be able to keep the Drow in the holes where they belong. Otherwise, our forces here are too small to be able to hold two floods of Algus and Drow, whose armies number in the ten thousands." "This situation seems very dire. I will need you to help me to send ravens to every Avalonian embassy in Nocturnus. We must tell them to dispatch every Green Rider they can to send word to all the lords of Avalonia. They must be told to do whatever they can to help the Resistance, either by stopping the Drow in Avalonia, or coming here." "Yes, I will make sure to do that. Now if you'll excuse me, I must meet with my generals to discuss this war. See you later today, or if not, see you tomorrow, Brandon."

Albion: the capital city of Avalonia
Brandon Stark replied to ZCerberus's topic in Guilds of Historica
I was wondering, since there are a few plots that were never built, can we actually build a building that a user planned to build but never did? There are a few ideas on the list that I find interesting but were never built. Can I build it instead?
