  1. Are you KB's brother or something? This puts all my LDD builds to shame. This build is amazing, and probably one of the best LDD builds I've seen on here. Not only is the outside fantastic, but the inside is equally amazing as well. I like all those soldiers and minifigures. Great to see Mooreton Bay growing so fast. Even when I joined back in January, it was smaller than it is now.
  2. Lavalette Barracks | Small Residence | Not Licensed Yet
  3. I like all the details in this microbuild. In fact, I can kind of picture what it would look like if it was full size.
  4. Wow. That boat is really good, with all those spikes on it, but the dense foliage is also good.
  5. For some reason I hadn't seen this build yet. Anyways, your siege engine is pretty good, and so is the layering on the ground.
  6. I really like the walls, gate, and building, which are my favorite part of the build. Your bear is also very well done.
  7. The house is really nice, with the half-timbered and stone parts that I always like. You also did a great job with the battering ram.
  8. Great story. I also like the minifigures and parts.
  9. Nice soldiers you got there. I especially like the ones in the front. The variation is great too. Now, I forgot to post this here, but new freebuild from me.
  10. Eltina Docks | Small Commerce
  11. Thanks. The plants' color are a darker color than flesh. As for the texture, I'm not sure if you read the story, but the keep is older than the wall, which was added later. Thank you! Like I said above, the wall is supposed to be newer than the keep.
  12. You did a fantastic job on the siege engine, texturing, and rock formation, so I don't really know where to start. The minifig posing is also great, and I like that crane lowering the ballista onto the siege engine.
  13. I especially like this build, with the half timbered and stone sections. The interior is also really nice, with all those details. Great to see Emile is making more DB now.
  14. I like all the detail included on such a small build. The magical regulation core is really interesting, and I also love the little details, including that candle idea. I don't know if that was intentional, but the light and black pieces go well together, and looks very eerie and mysterious, fitting for Nocturnus.

  16. Part 1, Chapter 1 Part 1, Chapter 2 Part 1, Chapter 3 Part 1, Chapter 4 Avalonian Embassy 1 by Brandon Stark, on Flickr Avalonian Embassy 2 by Brandon Stark, on Flickr After the meeting with Lord Alric Drondil, Brandon decided to do his part and find support from other Avalonian lords. On the road back to Avalonia, Brandon decided to visit one of the many Avalonian embassies in the guild. The embassy he is visiting was built six years ago, when the High King toured the land. Back then, it only consisted of the keep, a small curtain wall was built around the fortress during the Revolword War when the threat of attack was high. With war at their doorstep, it isn't a surprise that the number of guards have nearly tripled since peacetime, as Brandon notices. After presenting the guards at the entrance with the badge of his office, he makes his way into the fortress to speak with its commander, Ser Kedry Longthorpe. A high ranking Green Rider before suffering a near-crippling injury, Ser Kedry is also in charge of the embassy's three Green Riders. As Brandon walks across to the keep, he is met by Ser Kedry. The two exchange greetings with each other. "Brandon, my old friend, it's so nice to see you after all these years. How are you doing, and how are those green lands of Avalonia? And what brings you to the middle of Nocturnus?" Ser Kedry and Brandon had met before the Revolword War, as Kedry was a high ranking Green Rider stationed in the capital. After Ser Kedry suffered an injury at the hands of an orc, Brandon offered him a position to command the Avalonian embassy in Nocturnus. "I'm doing fine Ser Kedry. Avalonia is in a bad state, unfortunately. Refugees have flooded the capital, as I've noticed before I left Avalonia. It is also said that Drow and Hand of Corruption regiments roam the countryside, with our army to weak and divided to resist. Which is part of the reason that brings me back to Nocturnus. If the Spire is defeated here, Raavage's allies in Avalonia will flee down to the underground from whence they came." "That is rather unfortunate to hear. Now, Brandon, what help can I offer you to help Avalonia so we can defeat Raavage?" "I need all of your Green Riders to ride out tomorrow with a message to the individual lords of Avalonia. It's no use getting a message to Albion. The Spire supporters in the city will make sure word doesn't get out. I also need another Green Rider to send word to the next embassy so they can send word to an embassy after that, and so on." "Of course, Brandon. I will summon our Green Riders and inform them of their mission. Safe travels to you Brandon. May you make it safely back to Avalonia. The roads are very dangerous at this time, as Nocturnian roads are always, but with the threat of Raavage so close by. Watch out for Spire soldiers. Now, goodbye Brandon."
  17. Your skills in LDD a certainly much better than mine, and this is your second attempt. If that is okay with you, I would like to borrow that roof technique. One thing I would like to suggest for your next build is adding some minifigures. Maybe one or two for a start.
  18. Don't worry, I was in a bad mood yesterday so I didn't really mean what I said. I was a little curious as to why I wasn't there, but didn't know how to put it into words. As for my sigfig's legs and torso, you can literally use almost everything from any of the Kingdoms Dragon Knight armor to any of the LoTR/The Hobbit torsos and legs. Some CMF torsos and legs, such as the elf or the scary knight, if you have more than one of those, would also work. As long as my sigfig isn't dressed in the clothing of the opposite gender or reveals too much skin, that should be fine. If you're still unsure you can PM me if you want.
  19. I feel like everybody who answered on that thread of yours got a sigfig featured on there except me. It could just be me being really pessimistic right now, but I find that rather interesting...
  20. I may have missed something, but freebuilds don't have to be side challenges right? It's really hard to tell a good story if you're stuck with having to adhere to certain criteria.
  21. Like I've said earlier, please try using Bluerender. It improves presentation a lot. This could also use some more details besides just flowers on the ground. Trying using rocks and make the ground a little uneven.
  22. I like all the activity and minifigures, plus the layering and texturing. I also like the irregular base. Great to see Eltina getting some growth.
  23. My question about Category C.
  24. @Bregir Thank you very much for the advice. I will make sure to try it. As for the ship, I'm planning on creating a brick built hull instead of a molded one since I know what direction I'm going in with this ship now.
  25. The fort looks very imposing, great work. I like the sloped walls and the flags.
