  1. Is anyone interested in doing a collaboration with me? I just think it would be interesting if part of my sigfig's story is connected with that of another. If you are interested, please answer and I will send you a PM. For those of you who are waiting for a build from me, I should have something ready in the next few days.
  2. I don't really know if this is an appropriate place to post this or not, but I tried to render an LDD build, and I got this message: "Unable to generate necessary includes Unable to open file File might be in use by LDD Close LDD and retry Could not find file ..." I'd already closed LDD in advance to starting the program. Does anyone know the problem to this? Is there any way I can fix it? I've already tried reinstalling the program.
  3. Thank you. I plan my first build to be in some kind of room. Also, can I build in Hesperia? If you say yes, I'll PM you the details.
  4. Apologies for the extremely long wait time for my build; admittedly I am a better story writer than builder, and I've torn apart countless builds as they're too mediocre to fit the standards of GoH. My port build is getting quite large and I might not finish it for another month or so, and I really want to introduce my character. I'm really open to ideas right now, from what to build to what to include in my build. Again, sorry for taking so long, it bothers me too.
  5. This is a magnificent build. The buildings are distinctly Avalonian, yet have Mitgardian features, which help set it apart from the Mitgardian parts of the city, but also makes it fit well into Thorshaven. Your minifigure posting is also well done.
  6. Spectacular build. I love the use of the many arches, along with the way you mixed the wooden and stone sections. Your interiors are also really great.
  7. Thanks for the answers. Again, I will not be using LDD for all my builds, only when I lack the pieces. I will make sure to PM you about POV-ray.
  8. I apologize for the long wait time for my first build. I can't manage to find all those bricks. Is it okay for you if I build in LDD for this one? Just this one? If the answer to the first question is yes, does anybody know who to work POV-ray? Or is this not the appropriate place to ask that?
  9. I'm trying to fit a harbor on an 16x32 baseplate since I couldn't find enough flat pieces to fit a 32x32 baseplate.
  10. I was trying to find a way to introduce my character. Originally, I planned to build a port, but unfortunately, I don't have enough pieces (or I just can't find them). So I've decided to start small and expand from there.
  11. I'm going to start a build this weekend but I don't know what to build. Any ideas?
  12. Nice build. I like the use of the rounded plates, as well as the new technique with the palm tree. The irregular base is great, and the barding, along with the monkey, are also nice additions.
  13. Brandon Levigne de L'Acadie DSC01333 by Brandon Stark, on Flickr Brandon Levigne de L'Acadie was the fourth and youngest son of the Lord of Lys, a small island under the jurisdiction of Province of L'Acadie. His family, the Levigne, have ruled the island since the medieval times. Knowing his eldest brother would inherit the lordship and it's incomes, Brandon joined the military, fighting in the last months of the Juniper War, where he earned his fame for leading a charge that routed the Corrington infantry. After the war, Brandon traveled to Granoleon, where he became accustomed to life at the royal court, and met many prominent aristocrats. He married the love of his life, the daughter of a lord in the neighboring Province of Bothnia. Brandon also invested in one of the many companies looking to prosper in the colonies. Now that the King has looked east, towards the new lands, Brandon has been offered a chance to accomplish something. Reluctantly, he leaves his wife, and prepares for whatever fate awaits him.
  14. This build is really nice. The walls are superb, and I also find that roof technique really interesting and cool. The grass growing near the wall is also a really nice detail. Again, if you need some help, Lys would always be glad to provide soldiers to a fellow Avalonian in fighting our common enemy.
  15. Wow, that is stunning, just stunning. The keeping is splendid, I love the buildings inside too, and the rockwork is excellent, one of the things I like is how you made the top snow-covered. The waterfall is also marvelous, and the foliage is great.
  16. The beams are just splendid on the platform and the tower. The ground is also really well done, with the snow, and the snow melting. I like to use of antennae as arrows.
  17. What I wonderful build. You really captured what an Avalonian countryside looks like. The irregular base is great, and I also really like the foliage. The trees are also really nice. I also really like the rocks. However, I suggestion is to put a few details on the path, maybe a few small stones of something.
  18. Great build. This is distinctly Mitgardian. I really like the base, with the rocks and SNOT, and the cottage is also excellent. The roof is also very nice.
  19. Great story, and the base is also really cool. I also like the shrine, and the sphere is magnificent.
  20. Wow, just wow. This giant is superb, and the large rocks with the stream flowing through is excellent. I also like the foliage on the ground.
  21. The technique on the hut is one I haven't seen before. The plants and vines growing in various places, and the swamp is also what makes this build Nocturnian. This is a very splendid build.
  22. Fabulous build. I like the technique with the rocks, and how one slab is leaning on another. The spears, plants, and mushrooms also make this build distinctly Nocturnian.
  23. Great ruins. I really like the tree that is growing out of one of them. I also like how one side of the ruins is leaning to the side, and I also like the rope bridge. The rocks on the abyss is also very nice, and adds to the dangerous feeling of this build.
  24. Amazing build. I really like the irregular base and the SNOT on it. The arches on the tower are really nice.
  25. Neat build. The story is great and I really love the technique with the rocks. The vines hanging from the rocks are also a really nice addition that really adds to the "forgotten" feeling of this build.
