  1. errr... were the hell are the elevation stations 1 and 2 ?
  2. Wow really innovative and a wonderful carrying out !! Great job I like the big capstan !
  3. @Mesabi : The departure from Madin had gone surprisingly well. Neither the Tellvokians, nor Lord Damaximus, appear to harbour any real enmity with the count, nor the WTC. Count Mesabi might even have made a few friends or allies, and the WTC troops had managed not to blow up anything during the stay. Happily unaware of WTC mishaps elsewhere in the Brick Seas and well underway around the Guelph peninsula this may have been the first example of truly sweet sailing for the WTC. Both vessels were performing well, and the Copperhead was proving to be a weatherly vessel. "Deck ho!" the look-out cried. "Armed galley coming up hand over fist. Signalling us to heave to." Who might be trying to contact the WTC now? And what will the count do? Heave to - it is certainly some important message from Lord Damaximus or the Tellvokians that we cannot miss. Show a microbuild of the unidentified galley making its way towards your fleet. Creditors?! Set all sails and try to outrun the galley! Build a local topographical map/micro landscape showing the route taken to escape the galley. Will you try navigating dangerous shoals and reefs, make your escape on the open sea, or go for a fog bank? Corsairs! Beat to quarters and prepare to fight - between the Copperhead and the Aurora, certainly we will have the upper hand. Show the crew preparing for a fight. The identity and purpose of the galley will be revealed next turn and your choice will be important to what happens next.
  4. Thanks all, that was no light brick but a single round brick 1 x 1 trans-red in the opposite of the oven opening with my daughter lighting it with a small flashlight I'm just a little bit dashed for I'm not the first to come with a glass blowing built. I'd tried to have the best render as possible, but I'm not happy with the walls as already said... I will look for a proper technic for the next time !
  5. This lock is wonderful !! and the scale level in the walls
  6. they are cargo hatchway... loading and unloading windows
  7. @Maxim I : this WIP looks great, is it possible to have a pic taken from the rear ? (to see th castle and the width of the ship ? ) will certainly became a great Terraman !!
  8. I suppose you split from the first AMRCA you were in...
  9. @Kolonialbeamter Your corruption of the official was a success, and noone suspects foul play. Further,(so far) damages caused by the crews is limited to 75 dbs and the Londanians seems happy to entertain your sailors. (275 dbs is subtracted from adventure treasury). However, the port is still largely devoid of Mardierian naval presence, and apart from an Oleander trade fleet and a few lone Corlander vessels, it seems deserted. Has the Mardierian Imperial Navy truly been decimated by the recent wars, or are the Mardierians hiding something? And what about political stability? There are troops everywhere, but has the country been emptied to keep the capital from rising in rebellion, or is the Mardierian war machine still strong ashore? The questions are plentiful - Perhaps it is time to seek some answers. Send in the red cloaks... The mysteries priests of Hades can make their way to anything from the lowest sewer to the highest chamber, and make excellent spies. Show how they seek to obtain information through subterfuge, and about what they inquire. Civilised men use civilised means... Go by the official channels through further meetings with Mardierian officials. Show who the Duc de Corban meets and what he tries to gain information about. Let our sailors be our eyes... Common sailors and naval officers are experts in all matters naval, and have already been accepted by the various establisments of Londa. Show your crews and/or their officers gathering information while on shore leave, and what information they seek. At least one build is required to progress, but more are encouraged. Next turn, the game masters will decide to what degree you have succeeded and award you with information accordingly. Some may be public, some may be private (by PM), but only time will tell.
  10. A master glazier workshop was added to Tortuga
  11. Un joli cotre à hunier, j'aime bien le cabestan. Bonne idée la figure de proue... on croirait qu'il va klaxonner pour s'annoncer comme le facteur ou les boulangers/épiciers ambulants quand j'étais petit
  12. Carloni would rather had a more elaborate stained-glass one, but he quicklly noticed that tha rats have a very own sense of humor resultiing with throwing anything throwable right into the first window they see. So after 3 to 4 incidents, he decided for another pattern. Indeed, the Rats respect some strange code where the beer mug seems to be highlighted. Since that the window remain untouched...
  13. @Drunknok : thanks for the nice comments... and you're right, I'm not happy with the walls but I wasn't able to make them better. I'm still searching new technic for futures walls
  14. Carloni BENEDETTO studied with the most famous master glazier of Eslandola, before leaving for Tortuga, after a small (but deadly) trouble with the local governor (in fact with his daughter). On the road to a new life he met a banned doctor they became friends, and both finally head to Tortuga, soon to be caugh up by Carloni's Brother, Camillo, leaving Eslandola too (a trouble with the governor's wife as it seems ) Carloni and his brother decided to settle here and to go back to their art. And Carloni started to blow again : the molted glass is taken out of the oven and quickly but carefully blowed over a marble plate first chiseling second blowing, more longer this time and the final chiseling the final casting, in a marble bowl, now the piece is almost perfect and will wait on the top of the oven to finish the firing (note the sand supply next to the oven and the pigment on the shelf) if the firing must me more smooth, there's a smaller oven just beside, near the coal. the finished pieces wait on the table near a crate of crap (everything is not always a success and Carloni will trash any piece which is not perfect) second oven and craps The workshop will be licenced as a small artisan for Tortuga
  15. @Bregir Day 3 : Baker is on every front. He as some idea on how to set a distress signal, how to make a makeshift shelter and he is ready to deeper into the island searching for clue, food and water. Be pragmatic. A descent distress signal is the first think we need. We will have enough time then for searching about food and fresh water. A ship is not likely to pop up as soon as we start the signal. Let's chop some trees, make a big big heap of trunks, leaves and torch it ! Be pragmatic. We need to settle before anything. As the raft is at the moment our only possibility to sail away, we need to settle not far from here. After we start searching for food and fresh water, and even we may thought about a distress signal. Let's chop some trees and make a lovely hut. Be organized. The raft is useless, as we do not have any navigation expertise and implements, so we can abandon it and make our way to the most convenient place for setting a camp near a free access to food and fresh water. After we may spend some time to explore the island and certainly find the right place to set a distress signal To be pragmatic need one built. If you decide to get organized, then you need three vignettes about quest for food and fresh water.
