I'm sorry, I was so distracted from those comfy-looking bunk beds that the galley's occupant completely escaped my attention.

If the beautiful exterior wasn't enough, that interior beats it. Except maybe for the head (toilet), you don't seem to have missed a single creature comfort any space explorer would need.

Very imaginative, a huge thumbs up for making such a diorama feasable. Is the whole display made out of LEGO? I ask in particular because of the lattice structure where the title of your MOC is shown.

LEGO Sci-Fi Ongoing - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion
GeoBrick replied to Lyichir's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
I'm happy with the set. I never even heard of the set before 2015, and as far as I could determine most of the complaints are because the remake wasn't truly asymmetric like the original. Sofar I only made a few cosmectic changes, I'm waiting for a certain ventral element to become available again on PAB before putting my ideas for the set to work. -
[Poll] What is Your Favorite Castle Faction/Subtheme?
GeoBrick replied to SpacePolice89's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I realized that, and voted (among others) for that option solely for the 6083 joust set. -
2025/26 Castle [wishlist/speculation]

I reckon they'll be available until at least the production run of BDP series 6. There's a set (wolfpack tower) that needs them. Production run should be in the last 2 months of 2025/winter 2026. For the last voted for series (7) there are already hints that the medieval minifigs in the projects chosen will have a change of appearance. -
Nice range of cephalopods, selachimorpha, and homo you have here. But clearly, the homo types are way beyond their niche. You made a nice balance of open view versus seaplants here, and those sideway techniques with the cheese slopes accompany the ascent of the stairs at a perfect angle.

Tropical ports and islands display from Reading Brick Show 2025
GeoBrick replied to Franco Clarke's topic in Pirate MOCs
At first I thought the Islanders used their cutlery for a decent dish (with the turkey on the table), but then I saw that corner where the appearant main dish was brought in. -
[OL - FB - Nouveau Oleandia] St. Axel's Cathedral
GeoBrick replied to KotZ's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
I've seen this glass technique used on an event I participated in last weekend, but with clear transparent cheese slopes only. It gave a nice stained window effect. At first I thought the effect came from a sticker, but the builder quickly explained the technique to me. -
[Poll] What is Your Favorite Castle Faction/Subtheme?
GeoBrick replied to SpacePolice89's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Too early to tell for the 2025 releases, but it is likely that once I see them in front of me I'll include them in my votes. -

That works for kinda patient adults, but not really for the age group these kind of sets are meant: children. By the time in such a setup waves have switched from one to the other type, they've grown beyond. -

I suppose it depends how big one's LEGO budget is. Myself, I manage to fill a postal-free, service-free bucket twice a year. And I don't even need to wait until I got 55€ worth of elements in the bucket. You can always combine the purchase of a set with a service-free bunch of elements to waive the postal fee. -
I just love how the rocky outcrop of the island is turned into an Islander statue.

2025/26 Castle [wishlist/speculation]
GeoBrick replied to GreenhouseBricker's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Most of those fantasy creatures sounds perfect to include at one point or another into the CMF series. Hell, half of those mentioned have been in one or the other CMF series. -
Beautiful setting, and I agree with jtooker regarding the background forest and the skyline. A question regarding the bird on top of the temple: is that a statue, or just a bird resting a bit? Also, what species is it? A crane bird or something else?

2025/26 Castle [wishlist/speculation]
GeoBrick replied to GreenhouseBricker's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
That will be 130-135€ for you, then... -
Well, its the hotel uniform from the modular building section, and the flag is most likely a sticker.
-
Beautiful detailing. From the new pictures you posted, the skeleton buried beneath the cross is a nice touch.

That's what I meant. At least, I had the impression the bottom left picture here is the back of the castle. -

At least the civilian hasn't green hands. And it looks like you'd need at least two Horse Knight sets to close the main build off. -
