Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
GeoBrick replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
Fabulous! It could easily double as a train station. -
I can't help feel its a cross of the Green Grocer, Parisian Restaurant, and the latest modular, the garage, in a positive way that is. Tremendous details. A bit too roomy for my taste though. I would probably have tried to cram everything in 3 floors. Oh, and where's the seat in the waiting area for the shrink? ;)
-
Here's hoping the official pics aren't too far after. I am getting curious...
-
Wow, those tentacle shapes are quite something. And they blend in nice with the uniformity of the rest of the model

Don't tell us its Osaka Castle.

Marvelous! Though it looks like alot of unikitty's were tailed for the creation of this MOC.

MOC Ninjago City's Palace Cinema
GeoBrick replied to cjtonic's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Oh my, very intricate. Can't decide wether the 'old level' looks more (European) medieval or Far Eastern, but it is beautiful. Though I keep thinking its a kind of underwater scene with the background color. -
Ninjago City Expansion wishlist
GeoBrick replied to Dr.Cogg's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
One day I'll finish something like this. Sad to hear the builder couldn't let the rollercoaster tracks work with the tram. -
Welcome to Bricksonville - A City full of lights (promotional video)

It literary shines! Defininely want to make such a 'Ninjago' district as well. -
While a nice design, it is a re-release of an earlier project, with a number of boat parts which aren't produced anymore as far as I know. Too bad he didn't update the cabin windows with 2x2 lattices though. Would look a bit more authentic.

Yeah, I'm on the lookout for a larger product as well. I had my eye on your first Ikea link as well, but I feel its not broad enough for me. I'd like to find one that can hold a large baseplate (48x48 studs).

She's a CMF (collectible minifigure).

Clever reuse of old parts.

Sometime in the past I stumbled over iDisplayIt, a manufacturer of acrylic boxes, alot of them specifically made for large Lego sets. They already offer a display case for the Brick Bounty.

Ah yes, that's the one. Must have mistaken Fabuland for Duplo.
-
IIRC, it has a Duplo background. At least, I remember seeing a red rudder on a Duplo boat from back in the eighties. The ship, she's a real beauty. And I'm insanely jealous at your white hull parts. ;)
-
It really is an unearthed pirate treasure trove. Well done!
-
Nice looking. The version with the central hull windows in white kinda got me thinking it could be a medical ship.

That's a remarkable patrol vehicle there. And a neath idea for the suspension. Does it break easily? And it looks like it can be modularized as well. It could as well be a cockpit for a flying craft, or a lunar train.

[MOC] Blacktron Message Decryption and Processing Post
GeoBrick replied to CP5670's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
The beauty of those old black pieces. The colors don't fade with the years. It indeed looks just like the old sets. Looks like the Blacktron cyborgs have started to take over though.
