  1. Its more likely the pricing and final design of the sets will be shown once the voting for series 8 is done.
  2. looks very ship-shape! The change in ornamentation fore-and-aft is splendid. And I'm kickin' myself for not mentioning a ship's bell earlier. The dark decks don't borher me. If anything, ithey make the sparse reddish brown pieces pop out more on the top view. The thing I'm curious for now is if the 1x10 curved slope piece could be incorporated for the gaffel spars. At first glance it looks difficult because you need room for the sail's hinge pieces, but it could result in a thinner spar.
  3. It is a beautiful wagon, and I like the 'windows' you made in the white cover most of all. But frankly, I don't recognize the old set at all in it.
  4. Scrap that. I found them while checking under the set number. Sweet! The Blacktron Renegade printed elements are available too.
  5. Perhaps on PAB USA, but a quick check didn't show them on my side.
  6. Your efforts are much appreciated, sir! Its like the love child of MTRON en Classice Space.
  7. A couple Berserkers and Fleet Tankers would complete the picture.
  8. And do not forget a palm tree island for the islander! As it is, the banner centers on my mobile device, giving me a view of the two ships on the portrait orientation, and the the CMF quartermaster squezes in underneath the Eurobricks logo in the landscape orientation.
  9. Those were BAM exclusives. And the arm colors were different as well.
  10. Its definitely less stark then the initial colors. The top -and bottom parts of the railing colors combining with the lower hull kinda fits. I do wonder how it would look with the lower hull still in brown. Not sold on the grayish bows besides of the rudder. I think the windows have the right size now. And the ornamentation really helps giving the ship more character. Do you think such a flex cable would fit between the bow mast and the main mast? I initially had a rope with studs on each end in mind though. Definitely not such a big gun on the poop deck. The cannon on the foredeck maybe *just* popping over the railing would be perfect.
  11. Well, in my opinion getting a party tent textile is way more difficult then building up a tree (with dense foliage), so I'm quite happy the way LEGO went.
  12. For me they were always counties and duchies, with a number of lieges. The one and only kingdom bears the crown standard.
  13. I'm not totally sure, but those look like 1x2 tiles attached to 1x1 bricks with a stud on the side.
  14. If you stay with a non-yellow railing, I'd suggest changing the color of those banana's on the front to the railing. I know they don't exist in black. DBG is the closest to black. Or a darker shaded yellow like that statue piece you use on the front? perfectly fine. Its use is great to give riggers a handhold. But I would add lines over the sails from front to back. As it is now, it looks too much as the jib sail and gaff sail are floating in the air (esp. the jib). You'd probably need to make the main mast larger for that to work. I'd get rid of them altogether. A vessel this size is more suited for swivel guns or at most one larger turnable cannon (capable of shooting over the bow). The more so because you don't really have a way to show gunports because of the size of the vessel. a longer chain, make some sort of housing more to the centerline of the ship, and a bigger anchor. This is just the size of a drag anchor, not a proper one. I think it looks fine. While cleverly build, the hammock feels a bit too much 'in your face'. A more standard layout (a desk/stand for sailor utilities like a compass, sextant, map) might be better. Also, I suggest using two smaller window frames like this one, with whatever window you see fit (glass or lattice), and fill bottom and top out. It might even give you a bit space to put on some ornamentation on the stern. I'd say keep the current confuguration. For a ship this size a tiller is perfect. Maybe just a white connector instead of a light grayish one (that piece just above the rudder)? See answer nr. two.
  15. Ah, of course. Thanks for pointing out. 🙂
  16. Wow, its quite compact (barely 22 studs) and just a tad chunky, but it encompasses the essence of a MII Viper perfectly. Where did you find it?
  17. It did. If it wasn't for the pink on the deer's front legs, I'd say the futuronaut had better take a run for his money, and spins those propellers full throttle.
  18. I'm very surprised if a 3in1 set would get no less then six minifigs. That would be very generous.
  19. I should have quoted Mr Imposter's first post, totally forgot it. Maybe that was the long answer he needed?
  20. You're late for double VIP points when buying this set now. I like the set, but as always I see ways to tinker with it, improve it to my liking. 100€ isn't too hard for what you get, especially since the designer made it a two-in-one model (meaning you can build two additional models if you disassemble the original set, or buy a second copy of the set). The secondary plans are downloadable from this set's page in the LEGO online store.
  21. Have you looked at the videos on the page which link I've given you? Three of your questions are answered in it. And no, there's no pier. Not something that isn't easy to remedy I'd say.
  22. It does so in real life as well. I happen to see it on a Bricks&More event in Geel.
