Nice pictures. It starts to grow on me. Maybe I might buy it after all. The upper sturcture is similar indeed. But it reminded me of 7838

Great work. An excellent rendition of the real train. The looks and details are spot on. Although I am not sure about the graffiti. I think I prefer the clean one.

Wow, that roundhouse is looking very nice. Those windows are looking great and nice detail with those wooden plate in front of the window. And you probably find a nice solution for the door as well. I am also looking forward to seeing your solution for the big doors for the trains to pass through.

My girlfriend was away for the weekend...
Man with a hat replied to AlmightyArjen's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Oh man,. That's fantastic. And I love those bridges. -
Oof that's a tough question. There is no actual parts list of all avaible pieces. What might beclose enough though is LDD Manager which checks the parts and shows wether they are available on Bricklink. I find it very convenient although it is not 100% accurate (some newer parts/colours are not always correct) and you might still end up with some very expensive parts in your MOC.

I like it. It is refreshingly different. And it actually looks really fast.

Trains, Long and Short: Show 'm here!

Wow 36 meter. And did it run the 10cm of layout that was left? -
Wow, that's an incredible piece of engineering. Great job. And what do you consider steep? One brick per track section is already quite a lot to take for most PF-trains. I would love to see it go up steeper inclines.

That's a great update. The dark green compared to the green already makes all the difference. But also some nice re-detailing.- 16 replies

Well, I don't so. In the good old 12V era, when you walked into a toy store you could find a whole section on HO and N trains with all the additional accessoires. Nowadays you are lucky to find a train that is not LEGO in a toy store. Only the specialised stored do trains nowadays. So it is not LEGO alone. But getting back on topic. I am actually surprised to see the red cargo train as I thought the previous one was an exception so we may consider ourselves lucky anyway. And to stir things up: Isn't it a 4-year creator train cyle? I mean the Maersk train is a licensed special product, so that one doesn;t count. Right? So we would have to wait until 2017 for the next creator train. Of course the logic behind this all is..., well there is no logic so consider it nonsense. And to be honest I don't hope so and eagerly await a new creator train.

Wow, I almost forgot how nice and shiny the 7725 is. Unfortunatley mine doesn't shine that much anymore.

Very nice start. The turntable is looking good already. Can't wait to see all your detailing.

Wow, great job. The front is really nice.

You got to be kidding "decoratation". It more looks like the main attraction. Wonderful locomotive and the wagons as well. I really like the boxcar.
