  1. Mercedes-Benz AMG C63 DTM I haven't built this yet, but I am certain this belongs in the HOF.
  2. Hennessey Venom GT Spyder I have built several supercars of which most are in the HOF. I believe this car deserves to be placed here as well for its unique and innovative techniques.
  3. I was early enough for the first early bird, still haven't received an email asking for shipping info.
  4. Was there any consideration about offering all four instructions at a discount?
  5. Question about two parts and if their colour matters because they are new and not really available yet. QTY. 3 of DBG Technic, Axle and Pin Connector Perpendicular 3L with Center Pin Hole QTY. 4 of Black Technic, Pin Connector Round 1L
  6. My current plan from the four I have is to put only two per supercar on one side only. Obviously the side which it is displayed on.
  7. Curious as to why you chose to go with a XL and L instead of say two XL's like one of the BMW PF versions? I understand the V2's are far more rare and expensive; however, it may be a little misleading to people getting all the parts and using a regular IR and finding out the car keeps stalling. The V2 is actually not so bad when you consider the sticker price, instruction cost, and those darn wheel covers!
  8. I have also noticed on rebrickable that this model as well as the BMW parts list calls out a regular IR instead of a V2.
  9. Gorgeous! Is the body interchangeable between manual and RC? Is this the first model which uses both XL and L motors for drive at the same time?
  10. Any chance any of these mods will be made into easy to use instructions (pictures)?
  11. They may use a PDM system which is more trouble than it is worth to change all the information.
  12. Congrats on the media coverage. I like the use of the pneumatic cylinder but am not a fan of the system bricks studs showing. Although it looks great, I personally like the one which was created by pvdb.
  13. It does seem to look like medium blue which I would prefer over azure. I believe early images made it look like medium azure. If it is medium blue, its too bad they didn't make a #21/#22 panel/
  14. Oh maybe I quoted wrong person then lol Someone mentioned the dogbone (I-beam) being red and LBG.
  15. Thankfully, the red #3 connector is the same on both!
  16. I love the set and it is a beautiful looking set. I haven't seen or heard of any suspension pieces breaking in any of the F1 cars. I was very lucky to get sets which have perfect stickers but typically the stickers are in terrible condition. I personally would ask a lot of questions and ask for pictures. There are several rare and expensive pieces so if they are missing, the $200 set will cost you a lot more to complete it.
  17. Excellent work indeed. I like that you incorporated the motorized claw feature without adding a motor anywhere near the claw area. Any plans to put on rebrickable and make instructions?
  18. Not many projects use the buggy motors. I would be very interested to see how this performs.
  19. No, it is not normal and has been caused by low temperature and possibly low humidity.
  20. I personally believe they most likely use ABS or PC/ABS blend for almost all their parts. PC for clear pieces only. The cost is significant between PC and the other options. As for pins being more flexible or rigid. You just need to look at the geometry of the part. For instance the pin with hole (15100) part is much harder to insert than a regular pin but the wall thickness between the two parts is dramatically different. Also the slot which allows the ends to move inwards is different between the two. The regular pin is much longer allowing much more flexibility.
  21. Looking forward to seeing it and the one your brother is working on as well!
  22. Done! Nothing new on the outside so will post my interior. Camera battery died so unfortunately the phone camera will have to do.
  23. Rebrickable is not showing which springs are being used. Are you using the yellow hard? If When I build this, I think I would like it to sit lower as well.
  24. What a beautiful build! I think both colours looks nice, but may build the white after building two red cars recently. My few criticisms. The blue pins of the head lights really stand out as an eyesore. I know they are rare, but I think black is warranted in this area. Another thing I noticed which seems to be happening on many builds is the front nose looks too stubby / short in the side view compared to the real car. It is on my short list of cars to build!
