  1. Ha, well executed idea. Much more pirate-y indeed then the bank in Poppy Port. I might need to arrange a transport of some of the gold in the faults of the Golden Poppy Bank to this location as to spread the risk.
  2. To: Mayor Richard Brickford, Quinnsville, Cocovia @LM71Blackbird And: Governor Jonathan Cooke, King's Harbour, Cocovia @Bregir From: Cathy Derr, captaining the Narwal, port of Fatu Hiva, île d'Or 20 December 618 My dear lords, It has come to my attention that the Mayor would like to test the defences of the Large Town Quinnsville. I would like to take that challenge as my men and woman of the Derr's expeditionary light infantry and the crew of my barque Narwal are in need of some training. I can attempt a raid on your town in the coming month, with your permission of course. But I will not disclose the exact date of my arrival on your shores as to make it a better surprise. Also I will not fire life shots, my bullets and cannonballs will be replaced with yellow paint cartridges as to indicate a hit, but not make real damage. I hope you will take similar arrangements. I look forward to your reply as to agree upon the details. Fair winds, Cathy Derr, act.Capt. of the Narwal,
  3. I like the way you did those sails. But she is a bit skinny in the belly. nice for sailing fast straight ahead, but she'll be not so nice in bad weather.
  4. Nice little ship! Excellent job on the dimensions. I suggest adding a second jib btw on or near the bow, but otherwise I like the looks.
  5. Nice battery with tower, the tower is narrowing with each level? The roof is very nicely done. but those gunners might like some cover to catch the return fire. Bart
  6. Very well designed room! with all the parts you expect to find in a courthouse, And the minifigs really finishes it off. Bart
  7. @Drunknok Maybe I'll drop my troops of at the beach just to the north and march on Mesabi Landingfrom the back side... Now I write this at thought occured, is that something that could be done in an amcra ? elaborate tactics, spies, planned warfair etc ? @LM71Blackbird sounds fair, I'll get back to you about it.
  8. I wouldn't mind sacking either one as a training exscersize so to speak, I wouldn't mind loosing some troops, they can be regenerated easily, but I don't want to loose my ship.
  9. Excellent party dynamics you've created. It's a shame the building is a mere background piece because it is very well build. And are those pineapple bushes?
  10. *Actually won cat B of Challenge II *
  11. I suggest poking the game master of that specific amrca then!
  12. They survived the wilderness of Fatu Hiva unscratched and went home rich, where many others lost their live or worse there sanity.
  13. @Drunknok Why? You only need to fill out the form. ship from to fighting x and x. And for the adventures where you need to build, but for there wasn't a delay in the results (no need to wait on the KPA)
  14. My soldiers are mercenaries by nature, You can hire them! The full Battalion for 100 db start up cost and another 100 db per round (mcra). Eventuel losses of soldiers are for my cost to replace.
  15. *starts a private war to make things imminent*
  16. :O I thought I missed out on the land rules .. was actually looking for them yesterday. because they where 'soonish' when I left for sea 4,5 months ago
  17. The first and last two pictures have the roof intalled. It is a flatish roof design with fake façades. (cowboy shoot out street village western style) But i could make a shot from above if you want.:)
  18. Thanks you. The caves where the idea that started this build. Thanks, yes it's a bit too clean and all. but if it's get raided a few times it might get a more piraty look :D A cross and palm tree is a great idea! why didn't you say that before I finished? :P Thank you. The standard lego door or the architecture around it?
  19. All the gold from the mine and smelter needs to be stored somewhere, that's why a bank has been opened. It is also the first all stone building in Poppy Port The Golden Poppy Bank James is opening an account to deposit his salary he receives from dr. Anderson. James asked the bank employee if he can see the safe where his money is kept, but unfortunaltly for James that is against the policy But that safe in the corner of the bank behind the deviding wall can't be all can it? This is for now the last build in my gold series of Poppy Port. I tried to keep the early settlement look I created with the mayor office but on the other side tried to give the impression of a next step in town development and a strong and trustworthy appearance you want from a bank. Sorry but I couldn't get the cave part more lighter with Bluerender. Bart
  20. Great use of that colour green, and like the Prof said already excelent minifig posing of the water carrier
  21. I like the aquatic bird design, and I never knew there was a bow that didn't already have an arrow on it!
  22. Nicely done, I like those trees
  23. Nice little port! plenty details and small scenes to look at.
  24. Maybe a hide out within the influence circle of a forttess will automaticaly be found after the 3 turns? BTW the FTA holds the Monopoly on opium not the WTC.
