  1. skullduggery ? Google comes up with something along the lines of trickery, is that what you mean? Thanks, the columns yeah well, it is a very good design :D
  2. Captain Brickdottir didn't follow the path's crafted by the other expeditions into the wilderness. Instead she decided to lead her platoon a few days down the beach, before turning into the wilderness. they had been going three weeks now. The mood of the platoon was good, the temperature was pleasant and there was enough food to find. The trekking also didn't seem very hard, yes the plants created severe obstacles but nothing a quick slash of a sabre could fix. Or otherwise the monstrous blade of the Lieutenant would get trough it. But mostly they just bend the branches away or go around. As to leave as little of a track as possible, no need to draw unwanted attention on themself. They still hadn't found any sign of any monster or something else, no sign of victims either. Hidden in the jungle growth, so that hey would probably had passed it where they just a few meters off to the side, they found a pagan temple. There where several statues, symboling different aspects of live, or gods she wasn't sure. In the center there was a big piece of purple glass, or at least the lieutenant said it was glass, his father was a glazer. The whole temple breathed some sort of calmed. One of her soldiers with a native heritage carefully asked the captain if they had to report this to the Order now, remembering the blazing speech they had in the town. the Captain thought about it for a moment, no we don't, we didn't see this and even if we did we can't locate it. Another of her soldiers asked if there was Gold there, there where rumours there was gold on the Île d'Or and if there was any for sure it would be in a temple. They only saw rock, finely crafted rock of different colours, but it all appeared to be just rock. 3. @Roadmonkeytj I didn't intend to imply you didn't like it. I tried to point out my own error in research. Thank you @blackdeathgr I enjoyed building it.
  4. Thanks, the outside part is a mod of my prospecting build. Being realistic wasn't a goal here. The size may be because of the pdf angles the walls make, and as@Roadmonkeytj made clear I didn't actually research this, Just build it from immagines fueled by memories of mines in films and documentries (and visits to mines)
  5. I like the scene with the gunpowder kegs and the powder trail towards the idol.
  6. Excellent built showing all the steps and the tricks done to smelt the ores.
  7. I'll have a look. Thank you.
  8. Chilling with snowwhite obviously. How would one try that?
  9. Hello, I've been active in that other rpg here, bobs for quit a while now, but around the brick seas where rumours with talks about a third book. And although I'm not giving up on bobs, I'm interested enough to give the Guilds a go. I've no idea yet on which side to choose though :P or how the game works on land, any others who play both bobs and GoH who can give a quick run down of the simularities and differences I need to take into account?
  10. Thanks! All EB members would just buy it for the gold pieces ;p Thank you, filling up the gaps between the sleepers of the tracks? I maybe should have done that indeed.
  11. Thanks all! You mean the area where the guy with the wheelbarrow is walking about? Because in my mind the area where there is "nothing" is where the side continues to go down. The bucket continue to somewhere more down so to sprak.
  12. Poppy Port now ownes a gold mine
  13. After the prospecting report came the Major of Poppy Port send out a letter to a tribe of mountain dwelling men who live in the home country of his wife, the are rather short compared to the average minifig, but they are the best in the buisness. The digging of the mine started in the location the first finds where made. Gold mine 1 by Bart, on Flickr The outside of the mountain didn't do justice to the work the men on the inside had done, and the fastness of the gold resources found. 14. or just a part of a very big settlement whose defences might be weakened due to rapid expansion
  15. Fun take on the challenge description. Is the doctor opening the door of his own manor with an axe?
  16. Will the raiding and (land) war guidlines be available before the next mcra ?
  17. I remember a class 5 being the highest class!
  18. Nice collection of builds, question though when you separate the builds over several players, how do you usually split the license cost and after that the yield ?
  19. Well if the glorious leaders are going to compensate for inflation, I'm starting a union so we can strike for more salaries!
  20. To: Willem Guilder, King's Harbour, Cocovia And: Prince Alexander Prio, Alexport, Grand Dutchy of Prio From: Cathy Derr, captaining the Narwal, port of Fatu Hiva, île d'Or 19 July 618 My dear lords, I send you this letter on behave of the Special Searats captain's council regarding the conflict with the Grand Dutchy of Prio. After several debates weighing the options on how the fair nation of collective free-states and ports together known as the Searats would proceed. We will take up on your proposal. Without awaiting the answer of the Prince of Prio I declare that the ships Peacock and Pearl flying the Ensign of the Grand Dutchy of Prio are free to sail from the port of Bastion whenever it suits them. By publicising this letter publicly I would like to thank all the allies of the Searats who where and are ready to stand by our side in case the Grand Dutcy of Prio does not accept the proposals so generously made by the Admius Legistrate of the Eslandonian Colonial Council. Fair winds, Cathy Derr, act.Capt. of the Narwal, Chairman of the Special Searats captain's council regarding the conflict with the Grand Dutchy of Prio Note to all Captains on the Brick Seas, the Port of Bastion is a open free port, free and taxfree to visit by any ships. -- OOC, I've taken my second character for this, as she is into this conflict with the Narwal, and my main character is still locked in an amcra.
  21. @Garmadon I’m going for option 3 Rodsh was running through the back allies of the dock districts of Nova Terelli, what by the bricks was he thinking wandering about the streets with the pubs the navy lads always visited. Fleeing Nova Terelli by Bart, on Flickr Up ahead he saw an open door and made a leap to it, losing his hat in the process, staying just out of sight of the men chasing him who were still behind the corner. Fleeing Nova Terelli 2 by Bart, on Flickr Come one sergeant he can’t be far ahead of us! Yelled the officer while they sprinted past the door. I’m getting my revenge lieutenant Derr!! The sergeant didn’t answer over the clattering his breastplate created, he hated sprinting and wondered why they still wore the armour. Fleeing Nova Terelli 3 by Bart, on Flickr Rodsh sat down pouting behind the door he had barred with his sabre, it had been a long time he had run that hard. His mind was racing to remember who the men was who recognized him. Until it hit him, it was “Ratty”! The mess boy whom he had ones reported for steeling, apparently he was now an officer, the thieving bastard! But how did he get out of this mess? By now the whole town guard of Nova Terelli was patrolling the docks. His eyes wondered about the place he crashed into, he was in a small warehouse, and when his eyes rested on a particular crate a sly smile returned to his face. Fleeing Nova Terelli 4 by Bart, on Flickr He MUST be here! Shouted “Ratty” as he crashed through the door of the warehouse. The town guard on his heels. But the warehouse was found empty, swearing as only a low born mess boy whom climbed the ranks could, “Ratty” kicked the empty crate in the corner. Fleeing Nova Terelli 5 by Bart, on Flickr Rodsh tried to be as casual as he could, while at the same time pretending to be the jester he was dressed as. Rodsh made his way back to the docks and boarded the DMDR 6 safely and that tide they sailed.
  22. Nice lighthouse! I like how it is standing on the cliff's corner out into sea.
  23. @Bregir and/or @Capt Wolf I posted this a few pages back as an idea for smuggling, in case you missed it :)
  24. Interesting, because I don't understand who or what decided ownership of a settlement. (not held back by any knowledge (I never looked into this untill yesterday) I declared myself the owner and the mayor of Poppy Port :P) So for a monopoly to be effective the build doesn't need to be owned by the TC at all, as long as it is of the correct subject, the bonus works for all builds owned by the members.
