Thanks, I'll have to do some research (big word for looking at some google images) first, but I'm looking forward to it.

Brethren of the Brick Seas (BoBS) Intro Thread, Era II
Bart replied to Bregir's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
different question :P I found some valuable ore that is going to be mined. I was looking over the rules about mines and came across this: the Royal Fifth, as I understand this it does not come out of the owner of the mines nor the mines yield pocket. So it is db's pulled out of thin air entering the factions pocket. nothing wrong with that. But then I do not understand why Sea Rats do not pay it, because there is nothing to gain from not paying it. it actually is a lose, because our faction isn't getting any richer from members having mines. So do I mis understand it, or are the Sea Rats loosing money here. (they could very well use) -
[SR - Era II - Challenge 2 - CatA] Brothel of ÃŽle D'Or
Bart replied to Fraunces's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Excellent use of the background, i like how the dock comes at an odd angle from the building, gives it a playfull feeling. But also the bar on the other end with the shed full of kegs. I wouldn't mind spending a few hours there :D -
Cool! I have the very strong suspicion that the ore that is a bit deeper in the mountain will have a different colour :D *just an hour ago I got the news I graduated from the university, so double gold for me today!

Prospecting, by Poppy Port- 37 replies

James and dr. Anderson are continuing their exploration of the lands behind Poppy Port on Sabre Island, leaving the Mill behind following the stream feeding it up the mountain. Prospecting near Poppy Port by Bart, on Flickr dr. Anderson: This is an odd coloured rock, it appears to be an ore line running up and into the mountain face. James: What kind of stuff is it? dr. Anderson: I'm not sure, I'll have to send it to a friend of mine so he can do some research on it. --- OC, Which forms do I use for a prospecting build? Build submital and Propperty license?

Nice build! I like the dimensions of the field, not as big as the official Lego one but certainly not to small to make it crowded with 22 players. I'm glad to see minifigs are so civiliced they dont need a dozen different refurees.

Brethren of the Brick Seas (BoBS) Intro Thread, Era II
Bart replied to Bregir's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
With the current developements of (high) taxes, is it an idea to write smuggling into the (tmcra) game? example on the details: -the form works the same, with an added option to smuggle from/to, you still choose route and destination port - the gain in smuggling is you don't pay the taxes, trade income remains the same. - risk being caught by coastguard (if that faction/island/town has deployed any to that area), despite any setting of hostile to what ever nation, you will always be attacked by a coastguard vessel if you choose to smuggle. so you might loose your ship (or gain one :O) you could add that smuggling is not possible with a class 4/5 and up, and/or a ship set with a very low (3 or under) manouvre stat. because setting cargo on a beach requires more steering skills then docking in port. anyone any idea's about this? -
I really like the looks and shape of this one! the stern espcially is nice and tall but within proportion to the ship size.

It must be a dangerous job to be a bobs bureaucrat :D -
That's a nice and clean schooner you've made Bregir.

aha, I never knew that I though ship stats where personal information. Maybe there is a link somewhere in a searats chat that is now lost in the archives of Bastion. -

Is there a way to find your own ship stats back? like you can get an email with your licensed builds. -
[COR WTC] WTC Monthly - Issue 7, June 618
Bart replied to Darnok's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
1st battalion Derr's Expeditionary Light Infantry - response to WTC Monthly June 618.lxf by Bart, on Flickr - Colonel this cheap news pamflet mentions us, well not all of us, just the East company. Nothing about your West company, captain? - Nope, not about the North company, or the vague hint that we make up a battalion. Lol, lazy reports there, what's the paper called? - There is a smudge, but it appears to be VIC monthly Never heard of it. -

I like this build Drunknok, it gives a clean high society look to a whare house. -
It turned out real nice! I always use mspaint to cut off the excess blue in the renders, it i'll allow to post a more detailed picture here. And i'll be on the look out for those close ups.

Its getting crowded in Bastion, with 4 ships enjoying the hospitality now.
