  1. Eh, unfortunately the unknown Batman set (67012) is a Joker art set, same as the Spider-Man one.
  2. omigoshomigoshomigosh That's genuinely so awesome. Why is LEGO Super Heroes good again? Like, it feels like they've heard a lot of our complaints and wishes, and are trying their best to make us satisfied. It also comes with Miles and the Spot. I wonder if Miles will get a new suit. Spot will probably be black with white spots this time around.
  3. I mean... Peni is going to be a part of Gwen's team, so maybe they've heard us and are finally giving us that mech. If it's just a generic mech without any connection to the movie, that'll be a huge bummer.
  4. A Beyond the Spider-Verse set in April, huh? Awesome to hear that.
  5. MODULAR DAILY PLANET?! OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD!
  6. Uh-oh, it seems the rumours were true... we're getting SMART Ninjago next year. I hate this timeline.
  7. After watching the movie, it's funny how inaccurate but accurate the sets are. Like, the main idea behind the scenes is there, but it feels like some key components are missing, and some inclusions are completely off. But then again, I don't really see what else they could do that wouldn't warrant remaking those sets. Peter's apartment? Frank's van? The bodega where Peter buys flowers? Not really many other characters to include too—Frank, Sadie Sink's character... I suppose a display set (like the epic battle ones) with Spidey webbing The Hand as seen in the trailer would look awesome if done well. Or, I have an idea. A certain someone's office.
  8. Looks awesome. Feels very Imperial-y, the whole build really works. I particularly like the walls. Love seeing my wife enjoying her lunch. I hope Andor or Cal (lovely poncho) aren't after her though.
  9. Why does Mr. Fantastic look like Ted Lasso with a beard? Anyway, I'm extremely impressed with those minifigure. Not only do all of them have leg printing, except for F4 ones, but there's quite a bit of dual-moulding too! I don't remember when we've gotten such a good minifigure wave in Marvel sets. The Avengers Tower is definitely the worst build. Partially to the movie design itself, but they didn't do a good job with it, honestly. Sentinel display puece is awesome, and frankly, I think the Quinjet's fine. Overall, I'm really impressed with those sets.
  10. Glad to see how affordable this wave is, or at least how many smaller sets we're getting. It looks like the motive is transforming vehicles and evil ninja? Cool, can't wait to see the sets.
  11. Is it weird that I prefer the minifigures from the Ideas set that had regular minifigure heads instead of the specialised moulds? Most of the minifigures look strange to me, frankly. Shrek and Fiona's head moulds are weird, and the printing doesn't help—they just don't feel like LEGO to me. Same for Pinocchio (the Disney one looks so much better) and the Cat in Boots. Even the Executioner looks off imo. Not gonna mention the Dragon, because I have no idea why that's a minifigure at all. I also think that three minifigures getting the exact same accessory is super boring, even if it technically makes sense. Prince Charming and Merlin look awesome though. Fairy Godmother and the Wolf are also great. I don't like Lord Farquad's faceprint, doesn't really resemble him. Donkey is cool and the Gingerbread Man didn't really need a minifigure, same as the Dragon. Really mixed feelings on this one. I'm not a huge fan of Shrek, but I like all of the movies, especially the second one. Think I'm just gonna end up buying Prince Charming and his mother.
  12. The Avengers Tower is one hell of a monstrosity. I think I'm just gonna Bricklink Yelena because I'm in love with her. Really wish we got John and Ghost too. Frankly, I really wish we got Thunderbolts* set(s) last year. Loved this movie, but I can't get hyped for Doomsday at all. They're basically the only thing I'm genuinely excited about there.
  13. The Spider-Man 3 Epic Moment set is quite possibly the set I would've wanted most as a kid. It feels so nostalgic to finally have it, after all those years. I hope they continue this little subtheme to give us more cool, affordable and displayable sets.
  14. Just built the Anniversary Display set. Well, it's simply wonderful. Truly a generational Ninjago set. The build works really well and it's very displayable. The minifigures are aplenty, and they look fantastic. Still don't like the ZX armour being golden for all the Ninja though; it definitely leaves a (very small) sour aftertaste.
  15. The Smart Brick sets... I don't have anything new to say. They are overpriced, don't look particularly good, and they've eaten like a third of this year's set slots. Not to mention that the concept as a whole is literally against the whole idea of how you play with LEGO. The Summer list sounds quite interesting. Mini posters and icons sound like they could actually be good 18+ sets. The EPII chase is long overdue. The Bespin duel is great, especially after the last one was impossible to get. Ewok Village is going to be awesome too.
