Ninjago could have it's own Police wave of sets if that teaser was the season
-
I agree, by that logic , I could say that pretty much every torso/shield print was it's own faction , like the CMF raven, bear, moon emblems , the many shield inserts from nexo knights, and not to forget the white horse/orange fox factions from 2 nexo knight main characters. Like really, I found the Hotdog Knight faction : Of course this is meant as a joke, but still , with some imagination any of those shields could be it's own heraldry/faction.

Latest impact of other themes on historic themes
TeriXeri replied to Wardancer's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
The Friends Organic farm has quite a useful color scheme , if you remove the darkpink it's pretty much a nougat/darkblue/sandgreen farm for the most part, not too different from the Medieval Blacksmith. -
2022 Friends Rumours, Leaks, Information And Discussion
TeriXeri replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in LEGO Town
Brickset has a box picture now of the farm, at least the front, so far a price of $89.99 is listed. Of course need to see more of the back and inside. Also friends uses the small bionicle "eggs" but that could have to do with the age different target group, friends used small eggs a lot more in kitchens/shops as well, while City clearly has egg throwing/splat with the police set earlier in the year.- 136 replies

To me the main thing the olden sets had an advantage over now, were the smaller expansion sets like wagons, service vehicles and crossings not being part of just the BIG set or station. Now if you want a train, you overpay for the electronics if you want to expand it with more train sets, and you end up with another locomotive motor/battery box etc which are also sold seperately for replacement purposes. Now with Creator 3-in-1 you have to wait 1-2 years for a new building/shop to show up (used to be more frequent as well), but for trains you have to wait 4 for a new train (with 3-4 cargo wagons), or even like 8 year for a station or 12 year for a guarded crossing. A set like 2126: Train Cars every 2 year or so would help expand the cargo layout, as rails and switches remain sold independant , it's basicly a build-your own train concept but combines multiple smaller wagons in 1 set. The 90s also sold some larger flatbeds , cranes, or car wagons, but those were long wagons.

Lego City 2022 Rumours, Leaks, Information And Discussion
TeriXeri replied to Powered by Bricks's topic in LEGO Town
I agree I don't like when regular City sets become exclusive, like the Car transporter from last year, horse transporter from this year and now also the purple truck with the alien and maybe those 2 train sets. Besides, I think that Road plate with the railway crossing could've been it's own set, like the rail/road expansion that already exist. -
"but but my book/app instruction manual told me to build this figure this way from bag number 3" I'm glad LEGO at least starts to add hairpieces alongside helmets as almost standard now at least in City, Ninjago also had some hairpieces in sets but only for 2 out of 4 ninja in the dojo for example. 3-in-1 also sometimes promotes minifig torso/head/hair swapping.

cop and robber, fire/rescuing cats and fire deparment, medics and hurt people, gives kids some goals. Of course kids can still make up their own scenarios, but LEGO is even making duplo superhero characters now, pretty much predefined story from young ages. At least the mission sets stray a bit off the direction of "build this via instruction" , altho that's a bit overshadowed by the whole "no instructions , use app" on the box.

2022 Friends Rumours, Leaks, Information And Discussion
TeriXeri replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in LEGO Town
I like how the friends farm roof colors will fit really well with the blue/brown/sandgreen of the blacksmith set or could be a 3-in-1 Castle sidebuild. Will certainly watch this set closer when more info is known like interior, price, parts list etc. 826 pieces, probably be something like €80 (extra budget for the horse) , the last forest horse stable set was quite nice as well , but I rather get minifig horses.- 136 replies

Disney Properties 2022 - Rumors & Discussion
TeriXeri replied to Soupperson1's topic in LEGO Licensed
European prices via Stonewars currently listed as : €20 for camping €30 for fairground €50 for Castle Defenders €35 for Anna / Olaf €75 for Cinderella -
I think the new mech is €110 $120 until official (stonewars/promobricks) https://www.stonewars.de/news/lego-ninjago-juni-2022/ https://www.promobricks.de/lego-ninjago-sommer-2022/142508/ Still if those prices would be 100% correct, €570 for the whole wave is a LOT. (4821 pieces , 44 minifigures for the price to part people) Discount are still a big factor however, which is something a theme like Monkie Kid does not have in Europe, while Ninjago often can get 20+% off, sometimes 30-40%. With the last 2022 wave I got the Dojo and Training Centre for about ~€100 total (down from €140) .

Any news on sets for Lego's 90th anniversary?
TeriXeri replied to Jiesdeo's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Brickset posted the polybag picture. As for the 4 vehicles depicted : 3-in-1 surfer Van , 1994 Town Hotrod, some Town Police car, and what looks like 392 Formula 1 -
10305 Lion Knights' Castle 90th anniversary set
TeriXeri replied to R0Sch's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Because it's an August set and not June. (at least that's what's expected as August is the anniversary month, and August was mentioned at first rumours.) Also might be kept "secret" longer due to likely being exclusive to LEGO.com /stores at release. The 90th anniversary brick box was already reviewed, and is currently available, but has a May 1st release date.- 2,976 replies

I agree I prefer metal rails. The only main downside of the 9v metal rails are some layouts with switch tracks could short circuit because the - track would connect to the + track that's what the manual for my 1996 train warned me for

Only just realized that the police mission boat can be a submarine, with that squared off (moon cake factory) dome included, that makes it even more interesting, and the first Police submarine I think (2021 boat had a red mini sub for the crooks but only a diver with an assisted propulsion device, not a full sub) Combine it with the Space mission and you have Space Police -

LEGO Sci-Fi Ongoing - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion
TeriXeri replied to Lyichir's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Looks like LEGO Classic has a SPACE themed brick box as well : (it's not Classic Space, just under the Classic theme) 11022 Space mission https://www.lego.com/nl-nl/kids/sets/classic/space-mission-b825cd0b703e7834c74c9f575039f3f1 1700 pieces Not as spectacular as the City mission set, but still space themed with some really blocky weird rocket with 2 doors , and brick built astronauts. -
Any news on sets for Lego's 90th anniversary?
TeriXeri replied to Jiesdeo's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I found a 90th anniversary cars set on Brickmerge 30510 90 Years of cars https://www.brickmerge.de/30510-1 71 pieces and has a polybag type of set number. Between this, and the Classic (11021: 90 Years of Play) set and the likely Castle, it shows there are at least multiple sets. I searched some more and there's also a 40567 "90 years of LEGO" , promotional (based on set number I'd assume gift with purchase) -
2022 Friends Rumours, Leaks, Information And Discussion
TeriXeri replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in LEGO Town
It seems there are more sets that aren't really discussed/revealed yet. LEGO® Friends 41721 Organic Farm is on brickmerge Looks like a farm building with a darkblue roof and a nougat walls and pink stable doors, a hen house, a lavender tractor , tree, food stand big ladder and picnic table 4 dolls and a black horse. https://www.brickmerge.de/41721-1 I actually love it, I like sloped roofs and darkblue is one of my favorite color for it as it fits well with many 3-in-1 sets. Also there's a big horse trailer set as well : Big darkblue trailer, with other color accents and a multicolored SUV, 2 horses show out of the side when the trailer is closed, it's quite wide (10 studs I think) 41722 Horse Show Trailer https://www.brickmerge.de/41722-1 also on LEGO.com info site https://www.lego.com/nl-nl/kids/sets/friends/horse-show-trailer-dc621e44e6b5ca4fe728d47945c83eee (I don't know how official those reveals are, pictures don't say confidential, but since they aren't on brickset etc yet I'll wait)- 136 replies

I'd rather have seen the station, crossing, bus and service vehicle as seperate sets, however, this year a lot of the smaller sets went into Stuntz again. 2010 had the crossing with service vehicle seperate from the 2010 station. However 2009 and 2010 also had 2 bigger bus sets. I think if the bus set was seperate, it might've been more interesting for AFOL as well, to convert into extra long bus (18-24 meter) Seperate crossing would also promote more road-plate city building expansion.

I do see some categories in the sets , at least for the ninja figures. The 2 crystal king sets have "normal" ninjas - €140 The Golden Dragon has all golden ninjas - €140 Samurai X and Wu in the mech set. - €110 And then the winged ninjas in the other 4 vehicle sets. - €180 But yes if you want all the specific villains/special characters, they are spread across the sets. It's certainly a big budget wave (€570 for all 8 sets before discount) , but that'd certainly would be an impressive display of "army" of characters, and many cool crystal warriors as well. Personally I'll get the 2 crystal king sets first, and then see from there what priorities are left. I do think those Crystal King sets will fit well with the Season 13 Master of the mountain sets like the dungeon board and the Mino Beast aesthetic.

Lego City 2022 Rumours, Leaks, Information And Discussion
TeriXeri replied to Powered by Bricks's topic in LEGO Town
I'm more concerned about the whole App thing surrounding those mission sets. "No Instructions" text on the box doesn't sound very inviting. But the potential is Huge for sure. I'd love to see a Construction mission (wildlife has some of those elements already but a more focused set could work for sure) , Arctic or Farm missions could work as well and have animals, or some Coastguard/Sea animal rescue type of thing. Fire Mission or Medic Mission seem obviously possible, but maybe might be more interesting with a more niche parts selection in a Forest Fire or Winter Sports Medical setting. -
Insects or Minerals seem to me the most likely of one of them to pass. Polaroid might be known enough to be chosen as well. Many other ideas have similar sets or upcoming sets. Nike Shoe - Adidas Cash register - Typewriter Notting Hill - Friends main street (I know it's from a movie but it's also a london suburb and modular-building esque) Sea Serpent - Viking Ship Nautilus - 3-in-1 Octopus (I know it's mainly about the submarine and a book by jules verne but still) Farm - City and Minecraft will release barns just now and the other farm idea was rejected as well. Plants have their own line. Modulars aren't picked. A Winter House is in Bricklink Designer Program There are 3 steam locomotives in this round which is obviously different from Studgate in the Bricklink program but with a UCS hogwarts express seems unlikely. Castle stuff seems unlikely with 90th anniversary.
