1. Plan on getting them all but so far I have Lavaria and Aaron. By far Lavaria is my favorite. I like her colors and the build is fantastic. Plus she can still use her legs while atop the spider build. So that makes it so no piece is left around idling about. Plus the printing on these Nexo figures is off the hook! I don't think I've ever seen a line with so much care and effort put into even the run of the mill characters.
2. My first time dabbling in smaller than minifig scale and in Sci-Fi. I present the UMH 52 Super Sparrow Space Fighter. Primary Function: Interceptor. Crew: 1 Light Speed Capabilities: None Armaments: 2 扶桑重工業会社(Fuso Heavy Industries) Super Plasma Cannons Independence Quotient: Limited, Carrier-borne attack craft. Official Designation: UMH-52 スパースズメ宇宙戦闘機 "]https://flic.kr/p/LTmHng]IMG_0894 by https://www.flickr.c...e: 12px;'> Tome, on Flickr "]https://flic.kr/p/LTmHEk]IMG_2032 by Macster"]https://www.flickr.c...41@N07/]Macster Tome, on Flickr "]https://flic.kr/p/LTmHZP]IMG_7082 by Macster"]https://www.flickr.c...41@N07/]Macster Tome, on Flickr
3. Blacktron I hands down. Though I do have fond memories of Classic Space, my cousins and I would play with tons of pieces and figures from that line all the time. We would make the coolest things ( to my young mind's eye) out of that stuff.
4. Hah hah, yes it is very true. It is much calmer outside the cities. I don't know when you were last here but recently the k class cars have been getting really sleek in their design. While most retain the boxy look (similar to a 4 stud wide) there are some that are becoming more sporty like the Suzuki Hustler. Would clearly covert to 4 wide but feel off-road as well. I want LEGO to design like that going forward. Not to mention the Matsuda (Mazda) line of compacts (smart cars?) those look really sporty too. Would love specialized parts from LEGO to make something similar in 4 stud wide.
5. My daughters are into friends as well, however, once they get all the minidolls for the five main girls I am sure they will feel their collection is complete. It seems like they will outgrow them fast too. Their minds seem to race at a much faster pace with the princess line of dolls than the friends line. Sometimes I wonder if the popularity of Friends isn't on the wane.
6. I am always worried about constraction lines. Where I live I have never seen a Bionicle set ever. I am curious to try them but the only line that ever appears are those Star Wars ones(and I don't get those because I prefer my SW characters in minifig form). And those sets are always just keeping the shelves warm. Since the time the FA line was released not one has sold at my local store and the prices have not budged either. I do hope for one that catches on though as I would love the parts and I would love to get a few without worrying the line be discontinued so quickly. Cause knowing me I would fall in love with a major theme or sub-theme and pour a lot into it. Then to have it end like Bionicle just has so soon after a re-release it would crush me.
7. I prefer the 6 stud wide builds. I became quite taken by them when I built the jeep included in the Swamp Police Station set and with the crook's car Spirit in the Chase Mccain set. But my actual LEGO city has everything from 4 wide (plus fenders) to 8 (snow plow with plow attached and garbage truck). Living in Japan it actually looks painfully normal. Since around here we have K cars (super small cars) regular sized sedans and of course trucks. All of these vehicles manage to share the same narrow roads. Where I can I even move the steering wheel position to the right inside the car so they look even more Japanese =)
8. Given the mix of swords, sorcery and tech I would like to have an Orbital Strike Station for Axl. And something like a Klingon Bird of Prey for Jestro's forces heh heh.
9. Grabbed Macy's Thunder Mace, Glob Lobber and Ultimate Aaron from the local Yamada Denki. The Thunder Mace was so-so but I like Macy so it works out. The Glob Lobber was more fun than I expected and Ultimate Aaron is truly ultimate. Nexo Knights is my biggest guilty pleasure in LEGO so far lol.
10. Got 76044 Clash of Heroes. That Batman printing is spectacular. It makes the very nice Superman in the set look impoverished by comparison. Too bad most of it gets covered by the armor and that the armor also quickly crinkles Batman's cape. Still it is amazing to get these two iconic figures in one set.
11. Found set 75078 for a reasonable price (for Japan) and jumped on it. Wanted to get 2 but really I only need one since I am not sure how many Rebels Storm Troopers I'll end up with or Rebels set in general. Was pleasantly surprised by he troopers. They look very nice in person. Though I know the Rebels design is a turn off for many I was really charmed by them.
12. My Star Wars universe self and a few homages! rawr! Taken on an iPad and processed with MOLDIV for anyone curious. IMG_3700 by Macster Tome, on Flickr IMG_3705 by Macster Tome, on Flickr IMG_3711 by Macster Tome, on Flickr
13. I am happy to see Thrawn again even if it means the old books will now never get back into canon because that whole sequence of events just would not fit with anything. Still I hope the new book reestablishes the character but into the new time line and with the same gusto as those old editions. I am also secretly hoping he has something of a cameo or even death scene in Rogue 1 lol.
14. The cheapest I can get these packs is for 18 bucks so I welcome the additional build elements since I use the parts for other stuff and it feels like I paid for the figures and the parts. One thing I wish they would do is make the builds a bit more battle-isn. Walls and ditches or some point of defense. A vehicle is ok but with the limited parts count you can't make anything of substance for "battle." Also I would love if they replaced some of the build pieces for regular non stud-shooting blasters. They can bundle both types in of course but once all the studs are lost I am sure most folk would like something that looks like blaster and not a megaphone on their figures.
15. Love the colors! Fantastic job! Makes want to go on a trip myself.
16. Have not really been following this set but now that I've seen that tinker bell I do hope she gets a release in another set. My daughter would love it above even me! She is her favorite.
17. Not sure of the composition of the stiff cloth used for most LEGO capes. But getting that off sounds like it would be an ordeal (similar to removing yellowing in curtains) Not sure if it would be worth the expense specially if they get damaged further by the process.
18. Lol. His analysis, while a bit too picky, was spot on at the most crucial flawed elements of the PT. I would welcome his inclusion heh heh.
19. Tough I love all my LEGO but if I had no choice and could only keep one I would keep 60097 for sure. Love that set and it is al the more dear since my children love that one the most too. They play with it all the time.

21. Aww Well what a downer >< Still a build able figure of Samus would be interesting.
22. I like the molds I just want them in more colors to better reflect the newer series. The First Order has their standard blasters in black and white. I want some of those colors on the current molds. They look Star Wars enough and at the same time generic enough to be used with other themes even city. Same molds dual colors FTW!
23. Demo is sweet looking. Love how the characters move and love the new mechanics they're fun. Cant wait for the full retail version to hit the streets.
24. Wont happen thanks to Harmony Gold but I would love a Macross line in LEGO. Those Valkyries and Zentradi mecha would be so cool with a mix of Bionicle parts and other sic-fi bits. Plus a massive in SDF-1 in LEGO form would be epic! That being an impossible dream I would like Gainax's Aim for the Top (the first one) in LEGO as well. Having minifigs of that entire cast would be awesome. And finally a Metroid line would rock. Every Samus ever in minifig form with those space ships and metroids would rock. Plus space pirates too! Ridley would be awesome!
25. hah hah, this is generally my system also. Despite the exceedingly high price(of which I will complain) if I REALLY want the figures or build I buy the set. Granted I can't do that too often and, I am scaling back for Star Wars. But generally yeah. This method works best. You will have the LEGO you want going this route. I second this method!
