  1. http://www.gamespot.com/articles/nintendo-switch-specs-confirmed/1100-6446904/ If those are really the locked down final specs I am for sure out. Looks like I will have to wait for a later iteration of this console or wait out this cycle altogether to see if the house of N can lure me back. Still I hope it does very well with their target audience.
  2. Génial! May we respond in anglais? I hope you are able to add the little details you want and that you update it as it goes so we can see it progress to the final build you desire. I wish I could suggest a good approach to mount the engine modules but sadly I do not build at this scale and have no expertise on even the details but I imagine it will be fun to put together regardless. Once again, génial. Well done!
  3. I find the title interesting. "When gone am I the last of the Jedi will you be" So that part of the title has been true for some time it seems or rather it has come to pass a few times. Luke's trainees got wiped out making him the last Jedi again, previously that had been so after Yoda and Anakin died. So we tread familiar ground again. Either Luke is dead and he finished training Rey, or somehow Rey turns to the Dark Side and Kylo Ren is redeemed and he becomes the true Last Jedi. Or perhaps something with Leia???? Oo Or it is a play on words? What is the plural for Jedi?
  4. If you don't mind the look of the storm troopers included in set 75078 and you can still get your hands on multiples of them for a good price that is probably the fastest way to get a ton of stormies. For the rebellion I always recommend the set 75133 as it comes with a good selection of uniforms. If you combine them with the ones from set 75164 you'll get a good variety of troops quickly there also. Set 75131 also works well to this end as the troops look generic enough as does their officer.
  5. Well it is comforting to hear it is not so rampant and still crushing to hear it happens at all. I will be very careful when I visit. Thanks all.
  6. I agree with your sentiments here. 2 and a half seasons in and common now. Someone from the main crew needs to go. Still this is a complaint actually not unique to Rebels. Most American content for children is devoid of death galore and most English-based storytelling is actually devoid of heroes being offed too. Rewind to reaction of ESB from back in the day where the heroes are trounced from beginning to end. Lots of people could not believe that was how ESB ended. Recall the non bloodshed of full on firefights on GI-Joe from back in the day or the harmless adventures of He-Man and crew. Recall also the recoiling horror of children when robots were actually slain in the Transformers Movie after a few seasons of bloodless encounters at the hands of the Decepticons. Unless Disney decides that it would be good for them to move production rights to say Production I.G. or some other studio that has no beef with animating the death of main characters then this is just the state of entertainment for children we have always had.
  7. This is crushing to hear. I am planning on visiting the States this summer and was for sure going to hop by a store to pick up some sets on the cheap but now I am not sure. How widespread is this problem?
  8. I believe they have a set cycle for sets. But some are harder to pin than others. http://retiringsets.com I learned about this site on this forum and it has helped some. Perhaps it has the listing you need.
  9. She may well be, but I hope they get creative. Rey also heard Obi Wan's voice on Takodana, and I believe it was Obi Wan who told her that she was embarking on her first steps. She may be a Kenobi from something in TCW. Also we should recall the force awakened, and even Snoke sensed it, which would introduce a slight hole or cast a new facet of how the force works for a Skywalker. (Because otherwise how could Snoke not have sensed it sooner?) Regardless, sooner or later they will have to get creative about all of this because everyone in the original projects will one day be no more. Best to start testing the waters of new characters not tied by bloodline to a Skywalker.
  10. I tend to think this will force them to make it a bit more edgier than it otherwise would have been. Think of it, the Skywalker line could end at EP9. Perhaps the dawning of the line of Solo? The possibilities are exciting. Sad though it may be, it may actually benefit Disney's plan for the franchise to have something out every year until the SW universe is squeezed dry. This will give them freedom to spread their wings out further away from the Skywalkers and give folks new characters and adventures to enjoy. I know it is sad to paint it in that light but Disney is a business after all and they spent a lot of money to get this franchise. The silver lining to all of this is, that for many fans and just pop culture in general all of these characters are immortal. They have all simply changed form and are one with the Force (we call it Star Wars) forever.
  11. Oh drat, only S&H? No wonder they are changing 200$ for it here >< My region rarely gets those S&H specific sets. Uh oh...I really want it too. This is highly up to your preferences. All the figures in the AT-TE except for the Stormtrooper are unique. Not so with the frigate. So it is up to your needs for Rebels. Do you want Rex and his brothers plus the 5th brother or Ahsoka and Admiral Sato. Ezra, Chopper and Kallus have been seen in other sets.
  12. I have noticed that set 75175 A-Wing Star Fighter is labeled as Retail-Limited on Brickset. Does anyone have any info on what outlets/venue this will be limited to in the U.S.?
  13. The most recent is in the UCS Death Star, the next most recent is in set 75150 (TIE Adv Vs A-Wing) Here is a shot of that Vader(75150) and the Rogue 1 (EPIV) Vader. You can compare these here. Though keep in mind the LEGO Vader is leaning more to the Rebels TV Animated Series. They are both made to line up with Vader up to EPIV, however. Hope this helps somewhat. No other version of Vader would match up to Rogue 1 if it doesn't have his robes covering his shoulder armor. PC252576 by Macster Tome, on Flickr Darth-Vader1 by Macster Tome, on Flickr
  14. I would not call them the worst films out there but as part of Star Wars they are definitely pretty bad. I can sit down and enjoy them as popcorn entertainment but only every once in a while. Once you start to try to square them with the rest of the saga it gets ugly pretty fast. That is not to say I can't see what Lucas tried to convey but generally he failed in every major way to convey the rise of Vader in way that fit with the Vader we saw in the OT. Bottom line, on film, Anakin kills no Jedi at his level or better. But he does commit infanticide and genocide on a tribe of sand people. The rest of the time he was a creepy stalker, whiney kid and overall wuss. That is not the Vader I hoped for but that is the Vader Lucas saw fit to put on film. On a cinematic level the writing was bad, the set pieces were bland, the dialogue was boring and the exposition was thick when it didn't need to be. I for one would not mind a remake of the prequels. The people in the original projects got their paychecks and some of them had their careers ruined as a result. The heaps and heaps of continuity holes, plot hiccups and everything about them screams remake to me. Some people may find that disrespectful but I don't see how or why. TCW fleshed a lot of it out better but the fact that needed to exist in the first place says a lot about the quality of the PT in general.
  15. Actually if you look close (since I have that TIE Advanced Vader) his printing matches his robes up to EPIV making that acceptable for OT stuff. In fact, with Rogue One that Vader now matches two films worth of wardrobe. One for Rogue One and one for EPIV. Best way to confirm that is to look at this torso on both films. That cloth that runs down his torso drapes over his shoulder cowling on both films and the print on the LEGO figure captures that wonderfully. The only thing missing is the red hue for his helmet's lenses. Vader without that detail would belong more closely to EPV and EPVI.
  16. So Everything is Awesome in a galaxy far far away too! Awesome!
  17. It is 88,910 Yen where I live or about 900USD >< I think our general region is just loathed by LEGO distribution ; ;
  18. I totally hear both of you on this. Living in Japan certainly the prices here are totally insane also. 45 USD for Kanan's Speeder Bike? 110 USD for TIE Advanced Vs. A-Wing? Grr. What gets the most though is the inconsistency. A city set, if I wait 3 months, will drop in price several USD worth making my money get me quite a bit of LEGO. Same goes for NEXO. But Star Wars? The pricing alone has prevented me on getting so many sets. Why are they priced so differently? I could accept 5 maybe 10 USD equivalent overpriced. But nearly double? I too get irked by this. For some sets I just bite the bullet since local distribution is still much much faster than having stuff shipped from overseas and smaller risk of problems during shipping. But still it can be very aggravating when I go to the shop or Amazon Japan and note that for the money I can get nearly 3x as much LEGO in City sets than Star Wars. How can product from the same company be priced so wildly differently if it is all being imported anyway?
  19. For now, full on into Let It Die. Quirky and violent, oooh yeah!
  20. They are not major holes rather it has to keep the holes in place from everything that came before. Again just minor quips really since the bulk of these problems have existed for a while now. The Death Star in particular since EPIII, so that was not even a problem until relatively recent times. Outside material explains a lot of it but that is weak. The movies should do better at explaining or showing these details. But I suppose if I were studio I would love these, since they allow for movies like Rogue One to be made in the first place.
  21. I saw it just this week and liked it. Sadly, for as many holes as it patched up it seems to have created a few more Oo Still It was a fun romp in the SW universe and I appreciated the diversion. Even though the end was written in stone it was fun to see it all unfold. Some of the easter eggs were not as cool as I hoped but finally we see imperial forces once again neutralize many many rebels! Muahahaha! Go dark side! (-.-)v
  22. Got 76163 and 75165. One of each for the moment though I think I will need more as that pilot in flight officer garb is great to have and of course who can say no to storm troopers? Also the new stormies are identical to the one in the Advent Calendar. Though in creamy white when compared to their battle scarred Galactic Empire BP brethren. 23. Got set 75150. Way too pricey in my region but I am loving it! The ships are pretty big considering the vehicles in question. Though I was surprised to see the A-Wing is longer than the TIE. I always thought of them as the smallest of the bunch. It is also my first Vader minifigure and I am loving it too, the dark side oozes from it heh heh. 24. Thanks for the answer. It actually does help a lot. It makes it easier to narrow down the reasoning behind some of the prices I am seeing in my region for these sets marked as limited. Thanks again!
  25. I worry sometimes about set/theme longevity. Generally though if I like the theme/characters then I don't have a problem using them in related themes. I frequently use my OT figures with my rebels figures and don't feel bad about posing them together or setting up a diorama with all of them bunched up. My general view of Rebels sets is that they are close enough to the OT to freely flow in and out. Since we are getting a few connections with Rogue One and Rebels (and thereby the OT given EPIV's immediacy after RO) it should be possible to enjoy these well into the foreseeable future. The vehicles in particular should hold up well as long as the OT remains a thing people want. As for TCW I can't say. I've only been out of my Dark Age a year this month so I missed out on all of that and everything before it. But I imagine since we are still getting prequel sets that the same principle applies. Those who enjoy the prequel theme will find ways to mix in what they need with older and future releases.
