  1. I recently did a new car with a live rear axle set-up and coincidently just posted a video of it a few minutes ago... I timestamped the part with the live rear axle... Maybe you can get some ideas from it... My main goal was to make certain that none of the parts were being flexed(Shocks, connectors, etc..) It works pretty well...
  2. What's really amazing is that in the beginning of December last year. I had the new parts from the 2014 sets shipped here to the U.S. from Lego before any of the new sets were even released anywhere... And now we don't even know if or when the actual sets will be released here...
  3. Sometimes you'll place an order and a certain part in that order may be on backorder and they'll delay the whole thing... I placed a $400+ parts order in 2012 that took 45 days to get because of black panels being backordered.. But much to my delight when I got the package, it turned out it was a double order that got picked twice...
  4. And at least he most likely got to see it bfore he died...
  5. I'm not sure either... I have had people copy things right off of my brickshelf folder and sell them... I have also seen many things sold that were created from free instructions... There was a guy on bricklink a little while ago that was actually selling Barman's V8 engine instructions that Barry had on Brickshelf for free...
  6. Ramis tried to convince Murray for years to do a 3rd Ghostbusters movie.
  7. This is horrible news.. He was an amazing comedic actor/director... He has been sick for a few years now...
  8. several years ago I had it out with a guy from here in the states over a MOC he bought off of me and then started selling it along side me on Ebay... He eventually changed up the design a bit and threatened me that he had enough parts to flood Ebay with the MOC so neither of us would sell any... After things quieted down, he joined bricklink and was buying parts from my wife's store to resell on Ebay.. You can't make this stuff up...
  9. If I were you, I wouldn't lose any sleep over it... Just be flattered that someone thinks your design was good enough to try make a profit off of... Unless you are a legal represenative of The Lego Company in some way, Ebay is most likely going to ignore you... There is really nothing you can do... You would be surprised how many people are selling other people's models on various auction sites and stores all over the world... You just have to expect that there are parasites out there who have zero talent and will leech off of what they can find... You would think this is a good idea, but the casual fan doesn't want to spend several weeks locating parts to build something for which they can already buy it in one shot...
  10. If this is true, then I wonder why Lego displayed some of the 2014 Technic sets at the New York Toy Fair..? Seems kind of pointless to display something that is never going to be available to that area... The U.S. market is all about minifigures and minifigure related sets anyways...
  11. Amazing that you have built such a beautiful body without a chassis... I don't think I could ever pull that off...
  12. Sometimes it pays off though for not settling for what comes first and spending more time finding the the best option.. It shows here, because this model is excellent...
  13. There is nothing worse than when innocent lives are taken prematurely... You have my deepest sympathy...
  14. You could use the "PrtScn" button on your keyboard and then open up Paint and click "Paste" under "Edit" and it then crop the picture to your liking and print it... It's a bit of work, but should do the trick... Nice to see you guys finally releasing instructions for these very popular and sought after mini models...! I'll have to get a direct link up at my site to MOCplans for these instructions... Shoot me an email...!
  15. I would just like to see Lego release color packs of parts that are not available in their signature sets... I think the theme is just fine for their intended target audience...
  16. I think these are the same wheels... Not sure though...
  17. They didn't.. I had that set when it first came out and for years wondered why it had springs on the box and shocks in the set.. I read years ago that due to safety concerns of the springs flying off and possibly hitting a child in the eye(which has happned to me before when placing springs on various non Lego mechanisms) the shock was introduced late in the development of the 8860... The boxes for the set were already printed up with the old pictures on them, so they used them rather than scraping them and losing money...
  18. I like your car better than the one that they redesigned... And I also like the way you did your Peter Venkman figure much better... The Vampire hair doesn't look right IMO... This is still a no brainer that we'll have this set on display in our home on day one... Congratulations..!!!
  19. Lego Junkie's model is excellent.. With that said, coming from a guy who works on cars for a living, this recent modding "craze" of stanced suspensions has to be the dumbest S@#% that I have ever seen since 12" coffee can exhausts and Kung-Fu spoilers came out...
  20. That could easily be done... You would need some OOP yellow bushings, but there are tons of them on bricklink at a reasonable price...
  21. Here is the model in Black/Red.. This time around the Black Flexi Axles are easy to find... In fact it will be a bit easier to get the parts to build the black model than the red one... We will have instructions for both models...
  22. Here is a new front(or rear) drive suspension with steering that I've been working on between projects... The perpendicular connectors on the top at each end limit the range of the steering rack so that the CV joints do not bind... What I would really like to see Lego produce is a gear rack shaped like this one... It would make adding steering to vehicles with differentials much easier to work with... I've seen prototype pictures of a 3D printed gear rack they were using for front drive with steering for a supercar, but this shape would also work well... Here is one of their prototypes...
  23. They will be right around 8 to 9 Euros...
  24. Last year I did a smaller 1:6 scale version of an engine similar to what Barry did... [/media]I made this Ferrari one back in 2007...
  25. This would be my #1 choice...
