  1. I want to change at least one of my guesses ... I have a feeling that there will be a Pizza Suit Guy.
  2. I'm fine with it, since I have zero interest in a dozen variations of Batman, so I'll pass on those and just get the few that AREN'T him. Will save me a ton of money. Hmmm, uless of course the accessories are interesting, then I reserve the right to renege on what I just said and buy those Batman figures with accessories I could use elsewhere.
  3. This is VERY COOL! I have been wanting to do a Haunted House myself for my Series 14 monsters, but I am a novice Lego guy who is more into the minifigures than creating my own sets. This is very inspiring, though! Thanks for sharing. (I, too, got the Flicker message that I don't have permission, but those photos I could view were outstanding!)
  4. 1) Aurora 2) Prince Philip 3) Snow White 4) Evil Queen 5) Rapunzel 6) Flynn Ryder 7) Goofy 8) Clarabelle The Cow 9) Lilo 10) Jasmine 11) Jafar 12) Belle 13) The Beast 14) Pocahontas 15) John Smith 16) Esmarelda 17) Quasimodo 18) Mulan
  5. 1) Caveman 2) Spartan Warrior (Mime is a close second) 3) Old Time Pilot (with Tribal Chief a close second) 4) Punk Rocker 5) Royal Guard 6) Genie and Lady Liberty are tied 7) Viking Woman 8) Businessman 9) Fortune Teller and Forest Maiden are tied 10) Medusa 11) Yeti 12) Battle Goddess 13) The Sheriff 14)Banshee 15) Faun and Tribal Woman are tied 16) Spooky Boy Lego Movie CMF: William Shakespeare
  6. This is just ... WOW! Excellent work! Love it so much!
  7. I courted that same idea as well, but the only thing I don't like about this pairing is Spooky Boy and Spooky Girl are monochromatic while the Spider Lady has red all throughout her design. It's a minor technicality, of course, but for some reason it throws me off just enough to dissuade me from using them as a family. I like to think of Spooky Boy and Spooky Girl as refugees from an old black and white TV show similar to the Addams Family or The Munsters, personally.
  8. Went out this weekend, and got a Wildlife photographer at Toys R Us ... then went back to the Lego Store to start on my second set. (I have one at home, and bring one set to work - they have turned out to be great conversation pieces! People love them.) The Lego Store employee who was there that Wednesday night was there again Saturday, and he handed me a minifigure pack. Turns out, he had found a Wildlife photographer and saved her for me because he remembered she was the only one I was missing from a complete set (plus, I helped him find a Banana guy). Thought that was really cool of him. So, set 1 complete, set two in the works. Have not told the Sig Other how much I have spent on minifigures this week. They would not approve ... :D
  9. I hope they do - there is a whole well of characters that Lego is just ignoring in favor of repeats of the same old, same old characters. I'd add Black Canary, Hawkgirl/woman, Red Tornado and Elongated Man to your list so that all of the "classic" Justice Leaguers are accounted for, and would go so far as to add Vixen, Fire, Ice, Booster Gold, Blue Beetle, Vibe, Gypsy, Steel, Mr. Miracle, and Big Barda to name some other notable (and notable-ish) Leaguers. I don't know how many of these will be showing up on the show, but I hope a few of them will for sure.
  10. My Lego Store (Rochester, NY) just got them in today, and when I arrived after work, had free reign of the boxes for a little while. Managed to get 15 out of the 16, 100 percent accuracy on the feels, yay! In fact, about 10 minutes later a father and two sons came in, and they were having me help feel their packs to identify which characters were in the bags. And then it happened ... the kid picked up a pack and said the words I dreaded to hear ... "I think this is the Wildlife Photographer!" She was the only one I was missing. The kid asked me to feel the bag for him, and sure enough, it was the Wildlife Photographer. I smiled, said, "Good job, kid," and handed the pack back to the little guy. I think I showed great restraint in not mugging him for it. :D Then about another 10 minutes later, a mother and her three children came in. They started feeling packets too. And yep, they found a Wildlife Photographer as well. That was my frustrated cue to give up for the night and go home. Will try again another day.
  11. Called my Lego Store last night - they said Wednesday or Thursday, depending on when their truck gets in. Woot!
  12. Surprisingly, I'm not that interested in this figure although I enjoy the character on the CW shows. I can skip it without feeling too badly about it, which is good since I can't get to SDCC. I hope Lego does a comic-accurate version of the Atom in an official set at some point, though.
  13. That picture makes me realize how very, very much I want a Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends set with Firestar and Iceman minifigures ...
  14. Don't worry, no one's perfect. :D
  15. When I was young, I was traumatized by a horror comic that had an Easter Bunny lure children into an underground lair where he proceeded to dip them in chocolate and eat them alive. This thing gives me the same feeling, like it's going to horrifically punish everyone who has ever eaten a birthday cupcake. Brrrrrrrrr.
  16. These are great! I never knew I wanted a Firebreather until you introduced us to yours! Very nice! I also very much like the Dark Elf, Horror Movie Assistant, and Explorer. Thanks for sharing!
  17. I was just thinking the other day how awesome it would be to have "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" (the TV Show) minifigures - Buffy, Willow, Xander, Angel, Giles, Cordelia, Jenny Calendar, The Master, Darla, Spike and Drusilla ... That would be my dream license. They could also include "Angel" - Wesley, Gunn, Fred, Harmony ... Maybe have sets like the High School Library, The Master's Lair, Sunnydale Park or The Bronze.
  18. Second wave is as good as the first. Seriously, Lego should buy the designs off of you and implement them! I love, love, LOVE the Cannonball Man! He would be such a great addition to the circus I want to create! The Lady Scarecrow is cute, and I also really like the Teacher, the Rodeo Clown, the Lake Fisherman and the Archer. Nice work!
  19. Well, I'm back from a bit of a vacation, and finally got a look at the full list of reveals for Series 16. Looks great! The standouts for me are the Arabian Knight, the Ice Queen, The Mariachi Guy, Spooky Boy, and the Imp Boy, but I want all of them. The Rogue is the only "meh" figure in the batch, in my opinion, but he's still going to be cool to have since I am a completionist. I'm not going to wish my summer away, but I am looking forward to September.
  20. My Guess/Wish List is as follows 1) Circus Strong Man - animal leotard, big dark moustache, barbell piece 2) Terracotta Warrior - this idea is so cool, it needs to be done 3) Ragdoll - red hair, painted face, blue patchwork dress 4) Godly Messenger - a tribute to Hermes - new helmet piece could eventually be used for a certain Golden Aged DC speedster 5) Teddy Bear Suit Guy 6) Opera Phantom - Cape, Suit, printed mask over half of his face 7) Courtesan - Marie Antoinette-like figure 8) Player 2 - Gamer Girl minifigure 9) Coffehouse Singer - Forest Maiden hair in blond or brown or funky color, acoustic guitar, jeans and t-shirt 10) Centaur - the heart wants what the heart wants. 11) Wood Sprite - A female tree spirit with the Banshee hair in brown with green vine highlights, light green skin, and a dress/clothes that look like they are made from tree bark 12) Classic Villain - dark suit, dark top hat, dark cape, swirly printed mustache, sinister expression on his face. 13) Tin Woodsman 14) Roman Lady - The Spartan needs a nice gal to come home to 15) Monster Bride - An homage to the Bride of Frankenstein 16) Evil Genie
  21. All of these are pretty cool. They would be welcome additions to my CMF collection. I especially liked how you used the hairpiece of Gail the Construction gal from the Lego Movie CMF set as the architect's ... nice re-use of an existing part! If I had to nitpick, I would say I am not the biggest fan of the Galactic Traveler since we just had an astronaut in the last series, but I'd still get him. Good job!
  22. Not to be "that guy" but penguins are actually on a completely different pole than polar bears. Polar bears are found in the Northern Pole and Penguins in the Southern Pole.
  23. Kudos! Simply spectacular! I tip my hat to you, sir!
  24. Hey now, no need to hate on Daisy. :P
  25. The Iceberg Lounge was epic - great job!
