  1. The fantasy minifigure set is kind of silly, and not in a good way - if you're going to put a witch hat on a figure, then put her in black, not a purple ensemble. What is she supposed to be? Suburban Soccer Mom Witch? And someone already pointed out the weirdness with the green goblin hat. The only real thing it has going for it is as a parts pack, in my opinion, but your mileage may vary. :D
  2. I think a green-skinned female companion to the Monster would suffice, it certainly would not have to look like The Bride as we know her. I have faith the Lego designers could come up with something interesting. But I suppose this is wandering into "wishlist" territory rather than a discussion of Series 17.
  3. I understand! And even though I am not the biggest Bat-fan in the world, I certainly wouldn't say no to a Mad Hatter and Ventriloquist minifigure, to name a couple.
  4. And I'd like the exact opposite. Not every DC fan salivates over everything Batman, and we can certainly stand to have a bone thrown our way considering The Lego Batman Movie is all we're getting for "regular," non-movie DC sets for the foreseeable future..
  5. That's Hawkgirl in the sky between GL and Superman, and I think Black Canary down below. Lego, we NEED these figures!!! Okay, maybe not "we" but **I** definitely need these figures ... and I'm sure I am not alone! Make it happen, please!!! (And throw in a Zatanna while you're at it, thanks!)
  6. Along with the ones you've listed, "Opera Phantom," Creature from the Black Lagoon and Hunchback of Notre Dame spring to mind as "classic" movie monsters that haven't been done in the CMF line yet (although you can get the Creature from the Black Lagoon in Monster Fighters and Scooby Doo).
  7. Ahhh, see, I didn't know about the Pharaoh CMF having that staff (haven't added him to my collection yet). I thought the staff was a new piece ... thanks for the heads up!
  8. Incidentally, anyone else look at King Tut's staff and think "Jafar" for Disney CMF Series 2?
  9. Just for the record, Orca is a "she," not a "he." I know it's hard to tell because Lego didn't give her lipstick like they normally do ... LOL
  10. Well, I can definitely see a lot of parts I want to scavenge for other projects ... but definitely want to get King Tut, Lobster Loving Batman, and Catman to display, maybe Orca, too. I'd also like the Lego team to take that exact outfit on Cave Batman and use it for the Series 17 Strongman that's been rumored...
  11. Hmmmm, stay foolish? A reference to another jester of some kind? A tall/stilts clown? Or maybe a lady clown or female mime? Or maybe a reference to the Foolish Lego Photography site and we're finally getting a Monster Bride in honor of that site's mascot, Dwaas? Okay, so that one is probably a reach, but ...
  12. Late to the party with this one, but just wanted to echo "great job!" Very evocative, good atmosphere, perfect!
  13. Out of curiosity, has the mustache piece that we are assuming will come with the Circus Strongman (because let's face it, that is the most logical scenario) ever come in a blond color? I know I have seen brown and, I think, black, but not sure if I have ever seen it any other colors.
  14. Yay, Circus Strongman! Wanted one of those for awhile now! Butterfly Suit Girl sounds interesting as well!
  15. Funny! Thanks for sharing!

  20. Well, I can say that I found Disney Minifigs at my local Lego Store in Rochester, NY this past Saturday. Finally got my Donald Duck to complete the collection, too!
  21. Another great series! My favorites are the Grim Reaper (long overdue), Parrot Guy, Porridge Eater, Masked Hero, Male Cheerleader, Beserker and Lawyer. 80's Girl, Toy Soldier, Baker and Dwarven King are also strong! Thank you for sharing.
  22. Oooh, grim! Love it! Thanks for sharing!
  23. Love these! Thanks for sharing!
  24. Ooooh, a new banner with Goldilocks ... I await your new batch with anticipation. It's a testament to your designs, Robert, that I look forward to your reveals almost as much as I look forward to new actual CMF figures!
  25. I had this idea for a minifigure that I'd like to see in the CMF Line. I call him "Shaving Guy" - Gender: Male Torso: Nude Torso, maybe some chest hair on it. Headgear: Slicked back, "Just out of the shower" hair, any color Color on legs - White "briefs" with a white "skirt" piece to look like a towel around his waist Facial expression - Neutral, but with a printed "beard" of white shaving foam around his mouth. Maybe he could have a second face with an "ouch!" expression and a little nick or Bandage on his cheek. Accessory: in addition to the towel piece, it would be cool if Lego could make a shaver/razor piece. Maybe it could also come with a beard that hides the shaving foam so that you have a "before" and "during" and "after" affect if you go with the two-side face.
