  1. Personally, I really don't think The Lego Batman Movie needs or warrants a second collectible minifigure series.
  2. I think people are jumping the gun on the female chef ... Catanas said "it would be nice if," but that doesn't seem like a hint to me. And where did the surfer speculation come from?
  3. Just thinking out loud, but the 80s phone reference might also go toward a Hipster ... you know, ironically using an old cell phone? Making the 80's great again by re-wearing and re-using 80s memorabilia? It's a stretch, I realize, but Robert8 did say that he had word that a figure he did a design for is in this series would appear, even though it's not his design, and he did design a Hipster minifigure (a good one, too, I might add). Food for thought.
  4. I'm going to take that as a hint toward the Yuppie minifig ... :D
  5. A very interesting build, thank you for sharing! I enjoyed it for the most part (the baby room is not to my taste, but it makes sense in the context of it being a monster's house ...) Overall, a lot of fun!
  6. These are great ideas, thank you!!!
  7. Yeah, the Green Goblin probably wouldn't work, but I'll check out Brainiac ... thanks for the ideas!!!
  8. Does anyone know if there is a green-skinned male head that's NOT the Hulk? I want to swap out the yellow head in the Halloween set, and turn the white hands into black gloves or green, and make the Butler a Wicked Warlock of the West ...
  9. The mold for the Corn Suit Guy is fantastic, but there is something about the minifigure underneath that just isn't clicking with me ... but to each one's own. Obviously, I will be adding him to my collection anyway!
  10. Hmmmm, that silhouette and that picture of the matador DO look suspiciously alike ...
  11. While I won't go so far as to call the Batman CMF a waste of plastic, I will say I would have much preferred a more generalized DC Universe CMF line over what we got. That being said, I think there are lots of parts that I could end up using down the road. But I will agree with Lifeinplastic, in this - I much prefer the regular CMF lines to the licensed ones. If we get one licensed set a year and two "regular" CMF sets a year, that would be a compromise I'd happily take.
  12. These are amazing! Simply stunning! Beautiful work, and thank you for sharing!
  13. I will have to keep an eye out for it ... and I, too, hope it's not another Bat variant. But I can't help but be a little pessimistic about our chances for someone unique. After all, Batman is inarguably a big draw among the kiddie set. But, hope springs eternal ... :D
  14. I will usually cobble together a few minifigures at my local Lego store as means to get some spare parts, or if there's a particularly interesting head or accessory or torso. The legs are usually pretty generic, and the hats/hair bin are pretty basic, as well. But that doesn't mean you can't throw together a nice minifigure. It might not be something special, like something out of the CMF line, for instance, but they can certainly be nice.
  15. Do we think that the Butterfly Girl will have new wings, or will they reuse the fairy wings? Personally, I would like to see some new, bigger wings printed with some kind of pattern, but that might be asking a little much from Lego.
  16. My favorite minifigure right now? Hmmmm, that's a hard one. I love the CMF Fortuneteller and the Forest Maiden, to name two. My most wanted? Well, it WAS the CMF Scarecrow, but I placed my order from him yesterday thanks to Amazon Gift Cards for Christmas. So now I guess it's the CMF Lady Liberty.
  17. No Easter Bunny, alas, but a great set nonetheless ... will have to have that one, too ...
  18. I am hoping it's an Easter Egg hunt with an Easter Bunny (guy in Bunny Costume, like the CMF) ... but we shall see!
  19. Fantastic work, once again, Robert! I would gladly include all of them in my collection. Love the Pixie, Sneaky Guy and Dino Researcher especially - he looks like a good companion to the Dino Tracker. The Caroler and Gingerbread Woman are also great! And I especially LOVE the Sprinter when I took a second look and realized he had a new prosthetic leg. What an amazing concept! Kudos!
  20. Super happy that the vignettes are back ... this looks pretty good, overall, and will definitely aim to pick one up!
  21. Especially if they release a wheelchair-bound figure in the CMF set ... :D But it was a pretty good trap to fall into! :)
  22. Hmmm, Hot Dog Vendor ... I just got one in the People in the Park City set, but oh well ... Battle Dwarf sounds interesting, and since I didn't get the Dwarves from previous series yet it will be an interesting new character to have in my collection. Looking forward to learning the rest. And just for fun, I'm going to throw out a guess - the "Making the 80s great again" ... could it be a Break Dancer?
  23. Woot, more coming soon! It's like a Christmas present! :D Looking forward to it!
  24. Hmmm, if it IS a doctor, how about a Pediatrician with another design of the new baby figure? That'd be cute, although a repeat of the baby might be a bit much, a bit soon.
  25. I'm a little confused, I thought Itaria confirmed no pizza earlier in this thread? Not that I am complaining, mind you - I think a Pizza Suit Guy would be brilliant...
