  1. Awesome job! I love it!
  2. A goat could certainly appear with the shepherd/shepherdess rather than a sheep, so that's a possibility.
  3. I think I would be a little surprised if they introduced an "English Nanny" so soon after the Babysitter, unless perhaps they include a girl baby this time around. But what do I know? Maybe it could be used for a Mary Poppins figure in the second Disney CMF series wave, should one occur (although in the movie the umbrella has a distinct parrot head design as its handle ...)?
  4. Very neat design!
  5. That is pure awesomeness! Thanks for sharing!
  6. I will guess sheep. We are overdue for a shepherd/shepherdess in the CMF line. Next recolored animal - the terrier in a brown/black color to accompany a certain young Kansas girl on her trip down a golden-hued stone road.
  7. Re the price increase, I just have to say, I started collecting the series with, I think, series 12. Since then, I have been picking up earlier figures here and there as I can afford. Comparing current figures to some of the earlier series' figures I can see where the collectable line has come a long, long way. Some of those earlier minifigures, like in Series 1, for instance, really lacked the level of detail that I have come to enjoy (although they are perfectly fine, don't get me wrong). I don't think the series should continue to increase in price by 100 percent, though. That kind of increase is a bit hard to swallow no matter how stellar the figures might be.
  8. Huh, that Bruce Wayne hair is the CMF Dog Show Winner hair in black. Nice! I like the look of this figure, but it's a shame it's going to be put in a set I am just not going to be able to afford. But that's what the aftermarket is for, I suppose.
  9. Currently, my wish list is nearing 100 minifigures strong, so if I start shouting out suggestions I might never stop! But I think you are doing a fine job all on your own, Robert 8. Although, come to think of it, I did put a lot of your designs/minifigs on my wishlist, sooooo ... I will say this, though - don't shy away from a lady vampire - I don't consider Series 14's Spider Lady a true vampire ... :)
  10. I'd consider getting a couple of them for the parts, but that would be about the only reason. They aren't really compelling as characters in their own right.
  11. Oh, yeah, my bad! Totally need those minifigs, too! :D Along with Blue Devil, Black Lightning, Mary Marvel, Capt. Marvel Jr., Mr. Terrific (classic and modern), Kilowog, Mr. Miracle, Big Barda, Orion, Lightray, Dr. Light (Kimiyo Hoshi), Katma Tui, Kyle Rayner Green Lantern, Madame Xanadu, Black Orchid, The Crime Syndicate, NIghtshade, Black Condor, Phantom Lady, The Ray (Ray Terrill version), The Human Bomb .... TOLD YA I could go on and on LOL
  12. The most important figures, you ask? Justice League: Black Canary, Zatanna, Hawkgirl, Elongated Man, Red Tornado, Firestorm, Vixen, Fire, Ice, Atom, Blue Beetle (Ted Kord), Booster Gold, Guy Gardner, Gypsy, Vibe, Steel. Justice Society: Green Lantern, Wildcat, Flash, Dr. Midnight, Atom, Liberty Belle, Starman, Stargirl, Cyclone, Sandman, GA Hawkman and Hawgirl, Power Girl. Teen Titans/Titans: Donna Troy, Aqualad/Tempest(Garth), Speedy/Arsenal, Kid Flash (Wally West), Hawk, Dove, Jericho, Terra, Omen, Bumblebee, Herald Legion: Saturn Girl, Chameleon Boy, Brainiac 5, Phantom Girl, Ultra-Boy, Dawnstar, Lightning Lass, Triplicate Girl, Invisible Kid Misc. Heroes:Huntress, Demon, The Question, Uncle Sam, John Constantine, Deadman, Swamp Thing, Warlord, Jonah Hex, Vigilante (cowboy version) Villains: Solomon Grundy, Toy Man, Giganta,Cheetah, Ocean Master, Mad Hatter, Despero, Shadow Thief, Imperiex, Metallo, Killer Shark, Enchantress, Royal Flush Gang, Amazo, The Shade, Vandal Savage, Atrocitus, Trigon, Circe, Silver Swan, Ares, Flash's Rogues ... I could go on and on, but better stop for now. And I agree, it is definitely time for Lego to expand beyond just Batman.
  13. I wasn't here for the price hike from $3 to $4, I started collecting when they were $4 already. I don't know if I could justify spending more per figure on these little guys, no matter how much I love 'em.
  14. If we are getting a lobster mould, I'm going to bet that we'll be getting a Lobster fisherman in an upcoming CMF series! I have to say, some of those figures look quite fun. Still not sure I need a thousand variants of Batman for my collection, but maybe I could be convinced to pick up a few for parts.
  15. Nice! They look like they could protect the kingdom quite admirably!
  16. I see a babysitter that's about to be fired ... :) Cute!
  17. I wish they would/could come out with a monk and call him "Forest Man's Friend" or something like that to allude to Friar Tuck from the Robin Hood mythos. But I am sure even that much would be considered problematic.
  18. Out of curiosity, does LEGO ever use hair pieces from licensed characters in their regular CMF series or sets? I am specifically thinking of hairstyles like Jack Sparrow's or, say, the Tonto hair from the Lone Ranger sets or some of the hair from the Star Wars and Lord of the Rings sets, hair that is easily identifiable as belonging to that character. I am only asking because it seems like LEGO could use some of those parts to make some unique new minifigures, but then I wondered if perhaps their license agreement with the studios prevented them from re-using the parts.
  19. Wow, you have outdone yourself this time! These are great!!! Love the Evil Queen and the Moon Goddess, and I already expressed my love of the Bearded Lady, and I really, really like the Tambourine Player, too. The rest are just icing on this awesome cake.Man, I hope LEGO contacts you about making your designs come true ..
  20. I know that my Sister-In-Law, who is not into LEGO, had me pick up a Maleficent, an Ursala and a Cheshire Cat minifigure for her, so yes, I do agree that the Disney CMF appealed to others who might not traditionally collect the minifigures. And I further agree that they could do a lot more with Disney. In fact, that same sister-in-law asked me if I would put together the Disney castle for her if she bought it. I felt like saying, only if you buy me one, too! LOL
  21. I am loving the circus themed characters, like your acrobat and Human Cannonball, and now the bearded lady. With them, and Yooha's Fire Breather and Circus Strongman, I'd have a great little Big Top started! I really, rally hope Lego takes these designs into consideration. Can't wait to see the rest of your Series 3.
  22. Oh, and I just have to add - Favorite CMF outside of the usual series? The Toy Soldier from that one LEGO book. He is superb!
