Thanks to BraselC5048's question for bringing this MOC thread from last year back up on the list, and thanks to the other commenters, too. :) As RoxYourBlox already replied, it's indeed just a little off – 0.1 studs = 0.8 mm –, so it still works nicely. (Never tried it in LDD, though.)

Umm, yeah, but the designer - or whoever made the final decisions - should really take some more perspective lessons. While the crane would be kinda okay being a little lower towards the back, the Friends school doesn't fit in this perspective at all.

Well, I allowed my jeweler's shop to also sell some more kitschy stuff, so I could use the golden scorpion and trident, for instance; even if you don't want that, your shop might still sell trophies, so you can use the "Oscar" and goblets. Then I also put grille tiles vertically which is supposed to look like multiple necklaces: jeweler's shop 1 by cimddwc, on Flickr And several 1x1 round plates, some with transparent plates above, that may be rings or other jewellery. (This was before the LOTR rings were available.)

Well, I'd say the quality is mostly okay. The bricks' clutch power is usually good from my experience, though maybe a little inconsistent - and as Tariq mentioned, the fragility of the Tardis interior is due to its design; the Dalek factory and other smaller sets I have aren't that bad in this regard. The yellow parts, however, have noticeable variations in translucency and color, at least in my Tardis. (Then again, this happens with original Lego from time to time, too, though maybe a little less strong...) And, well, you can see yourself what the minifigures look like...

I only see a black square on my iPad... again. Please, everyone, don't just embed that Flickr slideshow with its outdated Flash thing, add at least a link to the photo set (and maybe one big photo directly)...

Though the part list is now apparently the latest version - trans-black panels with side supports and newer caps, for instance; looking at the BrickLink inventory, this already happened during 7641's production cycle. (Though there might be more such subtle changes.) Hmm, is this going to be the sequel to the modular cinema's "Mystery of the Monorail", called "Mystery of the City Corner"? ;)

Me too. And since he doesn't abbreviate his first name everywhere, you can be sure about the "he". Didn't look female when I happened to meet him at the Pasing store opening, either.

Indeed a great building with nice architectural details!
-
Thanks! A mixture of both. I usually plan the basic structure and some important details - on paper or in my mind, rarely in LDD -, try a few things, and make other things like some architectural decorations or many interiors in the course of building.

Really a beautiful building - color, architecture, interior,...

Thanks, everyone! Nope, just at the north exit of the town's South Station. :)

Indeed a great train station with lots of details - and a great train too with its rounded sides.

@Zeya: The red parts appear to be the reel and axle from this old conveyor belt: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=630

Thanks again! Since some of you have mentioned the dome's color, I tried some quickly photoshopped variations: original – dark tan full sand green – sand green I think bottom left has too much sand green, but the others are all okay, too. I'll keep the original. :)

I ordered a Freddie, erm, "Frontman" figure in 2011 without problems. My e-mail archive tells me they shipped one day after I placed the order.

Thanks again! Between the long main block on the upper level and the Pet Shop block, I'll build a road and a mountain behind it (with a castle on top), but no continuous row of houses.
-
Thanks again! By the way, here's a photo together with the other houses: Ignoring the antenna, it's a little lower than the Town Hall and about as tall as the white "Emerald House"'s gable on the far right.

Really amazing building in a beautiful and "rich" color combination.

Thanks, everyone! That's actually an idea taken from a local building which has alternating stripes of grille and smooth on the second floor and grille only higher up. I've thought about that, but I prefer this same-color look with the ribs. Without them, I might have made it sand green. Then again, some parts in sand green such as the jumpers are a bit expensive if you need a larger amount... (Which is actually the reason why the clips holding the ribs are grey and not tan: Spending so much on Lego already, I just didn't feel like spending another 8-12€ for just these 8 clips.) Feel free to ask if you need help with that. :)
