  1. Thanks again, everyone! You're right - while it's not taller than the FB's tower, its tall part is more massive, so it rises above the rest. But still not excessively, I think, and the slope on the right ends up nicely at the roof level of GG...
  2. Great building with these not-so-shiny areas, great interior and brick-built motorcycles!
  3. Thanks a lot everyone! All I have in LDD is the facade test (see flickr) which isn't quite final, that's all I can make available...
  4. Great noble looking building and interior. I'd just add some pavement decoration at the corner, maybe.
  5. B-OM-21D So here's my entry for this nice little contest... (finished rather early because I'll finally move into my new apartment in July.) Hope you like it: Back side: Ground floor interior featuring a hatter (mad, of course^^) and a clockmaker: Second and third floor interior: Many more photos on flickr, including details of the interiors, a group photo with Fire Brigade and Green Grocer, and the inspiration process for this design. Same on MOCpages. I used some original Lego stickers from various sets for paintings/photos on the walls, and for the house number. And I hope it's okay for this contest that I used the pin (dark bluish gray bar) that holds together the groups of four track pieces instead of a regular antenna/bar – after all, it's an original Lego part even if Lego wants you to throw it away...
  6. In Germany - from what I heard at Legoland - it's apparently nin-YAH-go, i.e. pronounced in a completely German way, which sounds a bit odd to me. Even more odd when combined with the English word in the name of the rotating ride thing they got there: "Flying Ninjago".
  7. A beautiful house with beautiful architecture in beautiful colors, indeed!
  8. Got the 9465 Zombies set from the small local department store. While having only a rather small and cramped Lego section, they fortunately have some of these rare/semi-exclusive sets (like the Alien Conquest battle pack last year)...
  9. Nice similar yet different buildings (and nice minifig scene)!
  10. It's narrower than I had imagined, but it's great nonetheless. Now I'm wondering if I can find a place for it in my city (rather doubtful), or if I'll just put it somewhere else on a shelf...
  11. Wow, that's another great house, inside and outside
  12. They're actually 2.49 EUR, at least here in Germany.
  13. Nice to see my mod progressing so nicely. :) Yeah, the escalators being so close to the entrance is a bit odd, so I'm looking forward to any better solution you can find. And I'm getting envious of your low prices...
  14. The two front quarters of the dome are attached to the windows below, and the two back quarters (and the jumper and 1x1 cone on top) are connected to the roof.
  15. They are only connected at the bottom on a jumper plate and are loose at the top (where they end with a tile).
  16. A beautiful building with a great interior! Though I think the top floor is a bit too high – removing one row of white bricks beneath the windows might look better and more like the original, I think.
  17. Thanks again! Once I got enough of these brick-bricks, I'll certainly try and use them somewhere, but I'm not sure if they'll actually look good in larger areas on elaborate modulars...
  18. Beautiful cemetery with many nice details.
  19. Alright, I've uploaded the photos of the old version with the extension to Flickr and edited the MOCpages page accordingly.
  20. You mean in the old version without the top floor? I had some photos of that on MOCpages, but I see now that they still haven't recovered them after their crash-with-stupidly-insufficient-backup quite some time ago. I'll re-upload them elsewhere soon, but it might take a couple of days...
  21. Thanks again, everyone! The first modification – i.e. without the top floor – was done with two GE sets some time ago; I bought a third one before building the top floor, but of course there were many parts left unsused. I can't really say if two GEs are enough, though I guess there aren't enough windows and log bricks.
  22. Thanks again, everyone, and thanks for frontpaging it (together with Brick City Depot's 2 houses). But note that this one isn't 16 studs wide, but 20. :)
  23. Well, what can I say? Another great house with great interior
  24. If the clock face (including the tan round plate behind it) is attached to the rest with two of this 1x1 brick with 1 stud , this polybag is even more interesting because this part wasn't available in reddish brown before, according to BrickLink. Though it may come in other new sets, too, or it might be the 2-stud version which already exists in this color...
  25. Another great building with nice details inside and outside. And yes, the composite video inputs are a nice detail, too :) – maybe the screen has wireless HD input?
