On the Path to Falkidalr - AoM: Wall Phase I
KlodsBrik replied to Slegengr's topic in Guilds of Historica
Looking really great. Some delicious tree techniques here. And the colour scheme smells of spring honey and that tasty bread only dwarfs and hobbits can bake indeed ! -
They are gonna look so nice with real LEGO. Really hope you are gonna put up some pictures when you get them builded !

75827 Ghostbusters Firehouse Headquarters Discussion
KlodsBrik replied to kelceycoe's topic in LEGO Licensed
LOL .... I so need to use that emote more often as i know my humor is screwed. That said, i also hate the back of the GBHQ. But its understandable it had to be done like that in order not to make the build a 1000+ bricks more. And indeed everyone would like the Ecto-1 to fit in it also. I would however have liked some 100+ more tiles. Not to completely tile all floors, just to make the carpets a little bit larger. I think that would have made the set look more complete for me. Dont get me wrong, i love the set. And it holds an insane amount of usefull bricks. The pricetag is huge offcourse. Look at all the bricks in it. And theyre not all tiny pieces. This set is HUGE both in usefull pieces and in larger pieces. If Marcos hadnt been using all those 2x5 and 6x5. Make a count on it. The set would have ended up with an even insaner amount of pieces and the pirce would have risen even further. Hide the back, enjoy what you actually get. Or dont buy it. Its your choice indeed, and LEGO will learn from this, being its a succes or not. -
Depends on how well you know your bricks. I find it quite easy to recover bricks for sets the way i have them all organized. However its probably most due to the years ive spent with LEGO, but a smart system will make it easier indeed to find the bricks needed for your sets. Their is also this guy who has made a lot of labels if you will, all ready for printing. Might be inspirationel as well. Get organized.

The speeder looks great, and i so loooove your instructions drawen freehand i assume. Looks excelent. Everything is done on computers these days. Being educated master cabinet maker. Technical drawing was one of the things we had to be able to practice, oldschool style with pen and paper. Drawings just have a totally different feel to it. Great work here indeed.

OMFG.... ROFL ..... I gotta get a pair of these. Im always having my LEGO spread around late night building, then when i finally realize what time it is, im to lazy to clean it all up. Then during the night i get to ,well .... You know either for a sandwich snack or toilet. And i always end up stepping on LEGO cause i dont turn the lights on !

Build for the LEGO Dimensions toypad and all the sets. WIP
KlodsBrik replied to KlodsBrik's topic in LEGO Licensed
At first i did think of building it in a modular boxset type MOC. But i didnt due to several reasons. All walls would have to be 2 studs wide and all the technic bricks would take up some space i could use for details instead. I also wanted to make it as small as possible since it will grow with time. Also take into account that many of the "big floors" have room for several more sets i havent got yet ( im not a millionaire offcourse ). I never intended it to become a LEGO Ideas project. Mostly, its very brick consuming and would probably never pass stage 2 . At first i thought of making it a theme like setup. But decided to go with having the figures and vehicles that i thought i would use most often closest to the toypad. Thanks for your insight and wonderfull idea. As stated in the toppost, i would love for others to throw themself into similar builds for the toypad. Its extremely fun and very challenging to both make a "box" look good and detailed when you actually only have the floors and walls to texture and add details to, in order to make it take up as little space as possible ! -
For me, it started exactly 8 hours ago. Now, i had to get out the door and has just returned, so i dont know when it was up and running again. :)

If you have ever played any other LEGO games and liked them, then this will be the top of the icecream for you Thanks a lot I will be doing room / floors for all packs im gonna get, and indeed im not even a third through the build for the 5 first waves. Now since the game will be running for 3 more years, who knows what is yet to come. Got a feeling that this is gonna end up being a massive build -
These are all beautifull builds. Awesome job on these. So many delightful details.

As Obama said: Its an attack on all humanity. During my frustration i even managed to get the danish flag wrong. But you got my message. This is haunting me still. Its so unfair and downright cowardly to make attacks like this. I have so many bad words for the people who did this, and elsewhere over the world. I just dont know how to go on. This was one to many.

I loved Gauntlet as a child, it was insanely expensive though. The level experience of the Dimensions intro if you will, is getting you back into the childhood ( for our age ) Sir Gareth, elf, valkyrie, warrior and wizard. It might as well belong in Historical, as well as your Doctor Who thread could be placed in Dimensions. Not that i want to discuss it, i wont. Gauntlett is a special thing, i loved it as a kid. And i cant wait to se what Arcade Midway will bring us the lucky ones who owns the Dimensions game.

Saddened by todays attack on France i had to turn my anger and sadness into something else just to express myself. By alll means if you dont know what to do with your own feelings, build something and post it here . My Condolences goes to France and Paris and indeed all the victims, their families and relatives. Denmark and the whole world will stand by your side as you did for us a year ago!

Looking great. Really like the outside of this transporter.

Its indeed very little. But i can definately adjust it on my camera ( Canon EOS40D with an EFS17-85mm lens ) Yes, kinda ment difuse the light.I meant, i can se the reflection from the lamps/led´s in the pictures. Which offcourse isnt good. I will try with the baking paper. Thanks. I should have mentioned that i work in quite a narrow space now. After christmas though, my girlfriend has allowed me to set up a "real" lightbox in another room. I dont know much about leds neither, but the guy who gave them to me works as an electrician with light daily. He said he have seen some use these for taking photos, and he did mention that most use the "umbrella" type setup with these, shown a page back. But i surely have no space for trying that out right now. They were leftovers from a tv studio he had worked on. Their is no printing on the lamps whatsoever so i have no clue how to get info on them. Gonna contact my friend after the weekend since hes occupied till then. Maybe i can get some more info on them then. Thanks guys for helping me out . Much appreciated Ahhh , offcourse, i will try to point them upwards as well. Geees, didnt even think of that . Thanks
