  1. This is a very cool modular idea, and on top of that it does look incredibly fine, as i mentioned in the other post you posted it in. I would surely get a few packs of this, if not for the build itself, then for the pieces. A very inspiring build to say the least. Love it
  2. Thanks a lot. Now the 2x2 tiles really isnt having that much stress on them. Ive made it in a way that is has two layers of plates underneath. I did a quick tablescap to let you se how i did it: The outer wall dont have much stress on it neither. This is made with a 1-3-1-3-1 brick combination, and the curve and that bend that it really stresses the bricks to much. Now for the second curved circle, thats the one that im still a bit worried about, i might end up with a few pieces thats been misshaped when i take the build apart at some point in time. ( When ive finished it !! ) This is the part where the most stress is. The third and most inner circle, i guess its due to the fact thats its not that big, its just as bendable as the outer circle. Curve 2 and 3 is btw made with a 2-2-2-2 combination to get that curved effect. Thanks for changing my title to hold WIP and thanks for commenting.
  3. Dang it. My local toy store had told me they would have the whole of wave 2 for sale today, unfortunately they hadnt gotten The Doctor Who level pack, much to my disapointment. However i did get The Unikitty Fun pack. Ive made a review of it in LEGO Licensed for anyone interested. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=116767 Unikitty in Berserk mode ingame. This is so insanely funny.
  4. I had really hoped to get a hold of the Doctor Who level pack today as my local shop had told me they would get the second wave today. Unfortunately they got all but the Doctor Who level pack. I did get the Unikitty fun pack, and for the fun of it i will make it my first review ever of a LEGO set. Also offcourse my first review here on EuroBricks. Year of release: 2015 Theme: LEGO Dimensions Set name: Unikitty fun pack Set Number: 71231 Pieces: 60 So another member just entered my LEGO Dimensions collection. The front of the box: Shows Unikitty on her chip and the first variation of the Cloud Cuckoo Car. I really feel the build for the Cloud Cuckoo car looks promising. The back of the box: Shows the three variatoins of the Cloud Cuckoo Car, also their is the X-Stream Soaker and the Rainbow Cannon. The content: The content of the box reveals two bags, and the building instructions. Note as always, only building instructions for the mini figure or in this case Unikitty is available in the instruction booklet. The remaining build must be build from ingame instructions, or is available on www.LEGO.com. Funny that they show two variations of Unikittys head, even though only one side is printed. However at the time of my review, no instructions was available yet online. Instructions: Step 1-3 lets you build Unikitty quite easily. You will have to open both bags to get Unikitty build. Unikitty meets up with some fellow companions of hers. As far as i know this is a new variation of the Unikitty 1x3 headpiece. Time to put Unikitty on the Toypad for some disco and load her ingame to get the instructions to build the Cloud Cuckoo car. A random instruction, in this case step 4 for the Cloud Cuckoo Car ingame. I dont know how to take screenshots from a PS3, if its even capable of it, so i had to just use my camera. Did turn out quite good afterall. The Cloud Cuckoo car done. It delivered on fun when building, offcourse their wasnt much to it, but a lot of different pieces in all sorts of colours go into the build. And the finished result is just as satisfying. Back view of the Cloud Cuckoo Car, quite nice as well. Unikitty riding her Car. Definately does make a fine and usable build if your into the whole LEGO Movie universe. I surely love it and it will make a nice display model on my Dimensions build for the toypad for sure. Spareparts: All the rainbows colours. Quite a nice collection of spares i must say. Last but not least an ingame picture of Unikitty in berserk mode. This is to say the least hilarious she goes totally nuts when in this mode and i just had to mention it even though, again i had to take a picture with my camera from the screen so its not that good. I havent been playing a whole lot yet with these builds, since i was more interested in trying to make a review. I will let you decide on your rating of it. For me its a nice package, the price tag is what it is considering it has both technonlogy and LEGO in it. But i feel its definately worth it if you enjoy playing LEGO Dimensions. Hope you enjoyed and please do comment. KlodsBrik.
  5. I wonder. Is there a way to se if ive already reported a spam post. I mean, sometimes it takes some time for a regulator, moderator, admin and whoever else can do this stuff to delete a spam post. Im thinking that it must also be annoying for you to get several reports on the same post from the same member. ( offcourse not as annoying as those spam posts themself). Anyhow i was just wondering. KlodsBrik
  6. Ive made my own system which im really glad for However this will be helpful for so many people and it definately shows that a lot of work have been put into this. Great job with this. Definately really usable for all FOL´s
  7. Thinking of making an Kardashian angel are we ?
  8. Love the Halloweeen costume for McFly And thanks btw.
  9. Hehehe ... I also just saw small parts of it. Reasons, offcourse the kids voice .... I want the full experience myself tomorrow ( where i hopefully am capable of gettin it as promised by my supplier ) and that it was noticed already in the comments that they struggled due to a bug. But i still couldnt resist on gettin a first impression, and it does look to be brilliant i must say !!
  10. Lovely, even though its just one minifig its worth it all. If i had an aquarium i would have done exactly the same. Hope you are glad with the result as well.
  11. I know its none of my business and that it should be up to admins and moderators, but you do get that this is promoting bootlegs / fake LEGO and it takes away shares of what LEGO could be doing, some licenses are also illegal. It has probably been discussed a 1000 times before in this long topic, just my shake on it. But seeing how these guys steal ( not saying its exactly the same persons ), other persons ideas. Take Oký´s "inside out headquarters", these guys steal others ideas, make fake LEGO just to benefit from it themself. You do realize that you are promoting it, but still want "real" LEGO in the future also. Sorry but it just makes me so mad, and i think its very wrong. Its theft to say the least. Main post of Oky´s "Inside Out headquartes". http://www.eurobrick...howtopic=112453 Now take a look at the posts after this: http://www.eurobrick...25#entry2366463 I hope you realize what im trying to say.
  12. Nice, i really have no clue as to why it reminds me of the movie and book "The time machine" , maybe some nostalgic about it. Nevertheless great work with a nice little vignette full of details.
  13. Uhh .... Which forum is that going on in ? I totally agree with you. Having seen what bootleggers did to Oky´s fantastic design with the Inside Out characters, i really dropped my jaw. Never realised that it was going on like that and that they actually can get away with it. I do understand that the forum should hold room for everyone to discuss every brick related topics, but promoting bootlegs and non LEGO should imo not be allowed. Then again there is the customizers making accesories, i see its hard where to set the limit.
  14. Found this video which afaik is the fist one to show the content of the Doctor Who level pack, i couldnt resist on looking through it even though i really wants to enjoy the whole of the gameplay myself when i get hold of it myself. The intro is amazing to say the least. Its worth a look even though it was a livestream and the little kid next to daddy has quite an annoying voice, not that i have any problems with kids Just wanted to let whoever know that is craving for more LEGO Doctor Who related stuff these days. The Dalek extermination of earth:
  15. ROFL ... Thats not the way to do spoilers Stil looking forward to se whats upcoming !
  16. Nice nice nice. I have so been looking forward to a EuroBricks review of this set. As a Whovian im probably way overexcited and happy with this set than nonWhovians might be. But to me its spoton 10/10. And what a lovely compilation of pieces. Now im wondering on the "extra "psionic screwdriver, i hope i got it correctly. so theres 3 ? ... One for Matt smith, one for Peter Capaldi and then an extra ? ... Thats awesome. I also do get that the TARDIS outside had to be made that huge in order to make it "fit" the control panel for the TARDIS, and its indeed a beautiful build afterall, even though its so damn huge. It makes sense they putted a Weeping angel in the set to make fans craving for more sets, since the cyberman will be introduced in the LEGO Dimensions wave 3. Or maybe it realised minifigs dont blink Im in a hurry right now, so i had to rush through the review, but i couldnt resist on commenting on my first impression. A whole lot more of my thoughts on it when i have more time. But all over all an excellent review, and cant believe that you also got a hold of the Dimensions level pack as well. Boths 12th doctors are awesome. For now im out. Thanks again for a lovely review.
  17. Thanks for all the lovely feedback. This is exactly why it sometimes payoff making a work in progress log. First of all this will keep me focused on finishing it, and now i owe it to you all also. Indeed my intention also. At some point i did a test setup on the left part of the build, just tablescrapping 70 trees, to get a feel of how i should build it. It looked exactly as i intended. Unfortunately no pictures of that. The few remaining trees on the build is just their cause each of them had an idea of how i would bend and twist the vegetation when i get to that process. Well, its not the brown bricks or the leaves im in need of. I have all those bricks. And i can also work on the temple itself, i just have to make it modular somehow, so its easy to remove when i have to take the whole of the right side apart to make the foundation for it all. That could keep me occupied for some time till i can get my BLO done i guess. Im getting new ideas on how to keep me occupied with this build. All thanks to all of you guys. Thanks. Yeah, its a pita. Especially when its unexpected. And i will so keep my spirits up and fight to get this done. It have been such fun building so far, so it wouldt be a shame to just drop it. Again, thanks all for the support. This is why i love EuroBricks.
  18. Lovely clean build. I really like it
  19. Quite nice design. And i so love it has interior. Great job on this.
  20. Red rising is so lovely also. Ive only seen the 5wave tv-series, it actually started of really good, then got caught up on budget i guess. Gonna read the book for sure. Yeah, its a serious gap in War against the Cthoor. You will be surprised how capable the author was predicting our days technology, however its the invasion, the invaders and the main character that makes it so freaking awesome. For so long ive been wanting to make a diorama for this series, but its freaking hard. Well, not gonna do any spoilers. Im just gonna leave it at that
  21. "David Gerrold - War against the Cthoor"all four books, a fifth is in its coming, for all sci-fi freaks .... To me it doesnt get more Sci-Fi and im a whovian remember !
  22. Im educated master cabinet maker, and thought it would lead me in the direction of becomming an architect. Instead i fell in love with carpenting and the joy of creating "art" with natural materials. Things like this: Building with LEGO is another thing i take just as serious but its more of a meditation for me. Well, so is the carpenting, thats just a hobby i make my living from
  23. Whenever i see a spam topic posted i will report it for sure. Sorry, couldnt watch more than 30sec. of the Python video, i could se where it was going Wish it was legal to make antispam software allowed to lock up spammers computers and play that video continuesly till they begged for mercy Anyhow, offtopic. It only take a few seconds to report spam, so its not a big deal. And keeps Eurobricks clean. Just glad to be able to help.
  24. Im totally aware of that, and no harsh feeling from me. Im just really glad that i finally got an answer of some kind. As mentioned elsewhere, i love EuroBrick and is so happy i got out of yet another DarkAge to return here to my favorite LEGO forum. If i have a bad day, i know i can always go here and getin better mood. Thanks for replying
  25. Fantastic build. Stunning setups. Brilliant photography and photoediting. Simply lovely beyond middle earth. Job well done to say the least !
