I never had any plans of posting this as a work in progress, so the pictures arent that good. They were merely for my own purpose of being able to recreate sections whenever i had to take of huger lumps of the build. Since i was supposed to order the remaining 7000 bricks on bricklink tomorrow, but i had a nasty bill in my post that put a stop to this. Now i wont have the funds till February or March. Now in order to keep me motivated and not at some point just take it apart, i decided to make a Work In Progress log afterall. That way i will make sure i come to finish this project which i have really come to love. More of the story behind it lateron. For now i will just let the pictures speak. A lot of bricks have gone into this as you might imagine. Mostly very small ones. I did a calculation that suggest that ive used around 18.000 so far. In my rough calculation of what is needed of bricks to finish the project, i ended up on some 10.000 of which i have some, leaflets, plants and brown for trees and vegetation. There have been some more progress on it that i will post lateron, but for now its packed away under plastic, and have a box on top to prevent dust, and also so i would be able to use the top of the box as a shelve. Ive been searching a bit for you unfortunately i cant come up with anything. The only thing i came across that could be an issue is more related to the Toypad itself. If its close to other electric devices or other technology, it might have problems reading some of the NFC chips. Bu unfortunately that was all i could find for now.

Thanks all And indeed this is a very fun project. Being able to build so many different styles with different stories in "one build", adding so many details and using practically every building style available. Being able to use all colours. Its like making a hundred vignettes ive realized. Im having so much fun making this. I had a very large bill coming in my post yesterday. I had hoped i could make a bricklink order for 7000+ bricks next month, i would need to finish another project of mine "Babylons hanging gardens". Now ive realized that i might not be able to afford that order till february / march, so im glad i came up with this build to "kill" time till i can work on my main project again.

Hehe ... that would be something, i got a few ideas but please tell me what the couch should have of abilities. Never cared much for the Ideas Big bang set, but i love the series.

Hahaha ... And also headpiece. Wouldnt walk around being yellow all the time with the same classic smile on my face. Sometimes its nice to be transparent as well

Amen to all of that. I read the topic earlier and thought of writing somewhat exactly the same. Cuusoo died, now it looks like Ideas are going down the same road. Im just glad that all the Doctor Who fans who have worked many years to make LEGO make some Doctor Who sets actually accomplished this. With that said im sad if its going to be as i suspect, i really like the idea that fols can have an impact on new set ideas. Get me right, i know we still will, however their is a special feeling buying an Cuusoo or Idea set, knowing the work, passion and time the fol have mostly put behind it.

LOL .... The people who se it is only assuming its Vigo, i also prefer to think it is, since it would make sense. However im looking forward to seeing the interior of this set, then it wont be all speculation any longer at least.

Thanks A little story on the fig next to santa, since i realize that no one will get it, unless youre from Denmark and 40+ of age.. He was a giveaway some 30-35 years ago from the Danish theme park Tivoli. Also Tivoli worked together with LEGO, giving away a lot of LEGO every christmas for poor families. LEGO still does this here in Denmark, for which im truly gratefull. Something called "Jule mærke hjemmet" has taken over this spiritual business now. As a child my family was very poor for a period of years, so i had to represent it with this Tivoli fig. Luckily things have turned now, but im still enjoying every year when i se pictures from Danish television what large amounts of toys "jule mærke hjemmet" collects to give away for kids in need of a good christmas. Another thing is that my fig is quite rare, they were mostly glued as a keychain, for some reason i have one which is not. Then again given that president business have them caught, he might just get with the Kragle if he doesnt come up with a good explanation

Nice, well, review wise. So Krusty will not be on my list for my Dimensions build. Also hes not having any abilities that other figures dont have, so hes not that valuable, also his torso sucks, so to speak. However i liked your review as always Just2good. Thanks for it I was however really looking forward for this funpack, but its not at all very interesting i must admit. $ saved for the GB modular i guess.

OMG ... This is incredible sculpturing and nice colour choices as well. Im so gonna need to "leand" your idea and build one myself for my desk. This is possibly one of the most original "out of LEGO" models ive seen in a very very long time. Very well done.

Niiice ... I so loved the japanese version of these movies. The US version were ok also. Great build that makes me want to watch the movies again for sure. And they are scary as hell if you really pay attention to them, for people who dont know them. Hehe, but then again, if your flatscreen all over sudden shows static, i would suggest for you to leave the appartment rather quickly...

Awesome builds. And i love how the setup have a bit to much lightning on it, even though it might not be intended. Really fits the setup and makes it look quite much like the Aliens universe. I want more !

Great ! The colour scheme really does it. I would love to more classic castle sets redesigned to fit with the classic space theme.

An admin or moderator deleted my account by accident, and with it went a lot of post and topics of mine. Also since the former topic with this content was named "[MOC/MOD] Dimensions toypad extension everlasting WIP" i suspect that it might have sounded a little to much like those spam posts that show up here on EB now and then, suggesting you should buy "brick enhancing products", so i renamed it As i wrote in my deleted topic, i wanted this to be an everlasting expansion of the Dimensions theme since it will run for at least 3 years. I thought of making it modular, but i dropped that idea since all walls would be two studs thick and it have to be handled by a 5year old also. I also wanted it to be as small as possible but yet being easily recognisable where each minifig should go, and offcourse make it look as good as im capable of. Enjoy. Here we go. In my last post i left of with this: This is what it has come to look like now: Simpsons level pack, and it will also have space for Bart or Crusty when they are released. Its still a WIP, im in doubt of how tall the Simpson car is, and need to know that to make it fit in the 2 stud deep garage, before finishing the build. I would really like to make the house 1 stud less high, since its to me almost to big a floor. Doctor Who level pack, and it will have space to hold the Cyberman and Dalek when its released. The TARDIS should be able to fit in the "gate", to make the illusion of "its bigger on the inside". Offcourse the bone is for K-9, i will place the cyberman "inside" the TARDIS to kinda represent "handles" and the Dalek will have to fit next between the TARDIS and K-9. The floor isnt completely done as i want to have some leaves on the tree, but i need the pack first to know how much room i have for it. Back to the future level pack, and it will also have room to hold both Doc Brown and the travelling time machine when that fun pack is released. Wizards of Ozz funpack. They got a lot more room than most of the other minifigs, so i had a chance to represent both the yellow brick road and emerald city, so both Wicked witch and Flying monkey wont have to stay to close to each other all the time, so luckily no romance here. Portal 2 level pack, with minifigs. The rest are very much still WIP´s. Ghostbusters level, this will consist of two platforms so to speak, still not sure if i like the layout so far. This is for the Legolas funpack, its pretty much just a quick tablescrap to make it look elvish, since i needed it mounted to hold the upper level for the ghostbuster floor. So this will definately change a whole lot if not totally. The portal itself: Still a work in progress. Also to the left, i will make Cloud Cukoo land to hold Unikitty, Wildstyle, Benny and maybe even Emmet and Gandalf, but im still a bit loose on this, and also this will be a bit different style than the other "boxed" builds. Im just not sure how i will make it yet, so for now its just two lumps of cluttered white bricks. I will need to take new pictures of the Aquaman floor and the Batman floor since they were basically unusable, but that will come with time. Now i just cant wait for it to be the 2nd of November so i can go and spend what i can afford that month to fill a lot of the floors still empty. I hope you like it, and that it will enspire you to make your own Toypad extension, im really hoping to se a lot of these "mini builds" to represent the whole of the LEGO Dimensions universe. I know that LEGO have a problem keeping up with demand, but never really thought it would show up like this so long before christmas. My sisters twins wants Scooby as christmas presents, and i told her for fun better buy them now. That was last month. Now it shows that this problem is gonna be for real. I bought Dimensions for them the beginning of this month also, but that was only cause i got 25% off price. Now im happy i did. Scooby is not to be found no longer on danish official LEGO page neither.

Im afraid im on my way down the same road as you walletwise. Im still awaiting what the interior will look like, but im guessing it will be awesome. Then to top it, i will need the Doctor Who ideas set and a ton of Dimension sets. Thanks LEGO. I have a lot of worries in my life. But you always makes sure i have no problems knowing what i will spend my money on.
