LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 17 Rumors and Discussion

It could be possible but if they do that then it won't be an invisible man... but Hollow Man instead!- 1,421 replies

You don't even need to play back the video.. it's right there in the thumbnail. It could be any VCX-100 light freighter thought... but I'm okay that they are giving us subtle hints.

For me, the proper imperial battlepack should have 4 regular Stormtroopers, without battle damage and not with the Rebels style buckethead sad face. Scouts, Imperial officers and whatnot should have their own separate set so that we can invest more on army building Stormtroopers specially those who joined late in SW army building.

Is that a compliment? I really like this set for the parts and don't care if it looks like a poop. -

I'm sure that they are tilted slightly... and as far as what I've seen from cross-sections, they are not supposed to move. Even in the images posted in StarWars.com, I don't believe they are supposed to be moving: -

For someone new to SW, you started with a big bang. Those 2 sets are great. As for the books, I will recommend LEGO Star Wars: Character Encyclopedia with free white prototype armour Boba fett minifigure because it's the most up-to-date version available now and Boba Fett in white armour is just too awesome. -
Don't be naughty or this topic might get locked next... Technically that would be true, at least in Europe, don't know about Asia though. So the Europeans discuss the coming winter sets here and the americans in the 2017 thread ;) At least in South East Asia, usually Singapore gets the sets in advance, followed by Malaysia and other markets. So far I haven't seen my friends sharing that they got the 2017 sets in Singapore yet. More on topic -- I got all the 2016 Star Wars sets that I want thanks to sales and clearance.

Got the Resistance Troop Transporter 75140 for 40% with a free polybag so instead of my original plan on getting the old Han Solo and old Leia minifigures only I now have the 2 sets where they appeared.

New graphics are in the air - share your feedback

The 2 different banner sizes for desktop and mobile devices are much appreciated. I like it better than the previous ones. -
You meant dark blue, right? It's the same as the one in 2016 Advent Calendar and Slave 1, if I am not mistaken. It really doesn't make sense if they change it now.

The tube stripes colour for the stormtroopers in set 75165 is now more visible in high res... it's not black, isn't it? http://imgur.com/a/r7fCA

It is easy to ignore these complaints... Just don't feed the hatred and move along... Move along. Maybe TLG is reading. I'm not sure. But I do get tired of reading all these nonsense that LEGO designers don't know what they are doing with Star Wars or any theme for that matter. Some people act like they are the single customer that buys LEGO. I have news for those guys... You're not the only LEGO Star Wars fan. Some are new to SW lore and they don't even care if it is 100% accurate to the movie. Even George Lucas keep on changing the movies after their release and I expect that TLG will keep on producing better versions of the existing sets in the future... We jist don't know when. They plan these in advance so even if we can influence them it will take at least a year to factor in all the feedbacks. So that being said, if you don't like this wave... Good for you. You just saved some money. As for me, I'll pick up some sets that I missed during my dark age.

I also want that moustache... Hopefully it wll be available in future sets... Because you know, with time (travel?) and different dimensions within Ninjago, the set designers and story writers can collaborate to pick which character to bring back and produce in a set that is higly in demand. -
I waited for a great discount and now I got 75105 Millennium Falcon, which I will modify a lot to get rid of the gaps.

You guys are totally spoiling the show for others.. You can share this theory crafting in the TV show thread if you really can't help it. We're supposed to be discussing about sets... Ok... back on track, I think the sets are still awesome -- but the highlight really goes to the intricate detail in the armours... I really can't wait to get my hands on some of these villains. Finally the design of the villains are up to par with the Nexo Knights villains design. -
You're thinking what I am thinking. My Cantina MOC is WIP until I get the best parts for each element. Probably time to hit Bricklink once it is available! :)

I'm so happy that you guys are happy that Thrawn has red eyes. Hurray! TLG didn't let us down. Also, what a surprise. That A-Wing is great and of course.... Lando!

That's a good thing, right? People really like costumed characters. If not another animal it could be another halloween costume... maybe...maybe not but I hope the distribution for costumed characters will be plenty enough.- 1,421 replies

I agree that box arts are not the best indicator of the actual print... but it's really disturbing how that remarkable feature from Thrawn would be missed out. Personally, I think that it is just a red sharpie away but for some people it would be blasphemous.

I like how AP-5 is instrumental on making the plan in this episode. He didn't have any decent appearance since his introduction. As for the episode, I agree that it is a better episode than the last one... but still feels like a filler. I hope these small setup in the story pays off later on. I don't like Hando's character and Ezra's bizarre trust to him. Maybe it is the Rebels desperation that make it all possible to partner with him but the lack of any consequences to all the betrayals Hando had done is just sloppy storytelling in my opinion.

I have less than a dozen minifigures older than me and a lot more older than 20+ years. Didn't store them in any special containers. Those minifigs that I abused from my childhood still survived despite the faded prints and scratches. After some cleaning they still look decent while those unboxed just recently are still in pristine condition. I will be passing all those to my children. Personally, it is more interesting to my children when I share the story how one of those minifigures nearly lost a hand or head compared to keeping them locked away and for displayed only. Don't get me wrong. I also value archiving. I do get where the collectors are coming from since I have a decent amount of minifigures that I rarely take out for display but it really saddens me when my son ask me if he can borrow that special minifig and I can only tell him it needs to stay in the display cabinet. If there is any special care I would add to how I store my minifigures, it is to store them separately in individual zip locks so that they don't scratch one another while being moved from storage. Other than that I think using any plastic to store them is fine. What LEGO advised about cleaning them before storing is also true. It worked for me for over 20+ years. Unless you are making a time capsule for your LEGO sets I think plastic bags and display glasses should be good enough to keep them safe for decades to come.

Good find. I hope they get rid if Kai's scar once and for all. From the sets picture, I also notice that the twins, with their hair pieces on instead if the hood, seem to be controlling the Iron Doom... -

ohh.. I totally forgot with Disney on board. I re-read some of the articles and I am afraid that it could be the last. -
I didn't like the episode that much... it feels like a filler. Mart put everyone in danger and Thrawn's strategy seems like "all or nothing" approach to defeat the rebels. I really hope the writers can pull off the strategy that Thrawn has so that he can say in the culminating episodes "just as planned" to really solidify his character as a strategist. So far, I can't see much of his strategy working well or maybe it's really the point -- so that in the end we'll be thrown in a twist we never see coming.
