  1. it has that sexy curves, thanks to the balloon pieces. Nice MOC!
  2. I have completed the Rogue One protagonists and finally got a discounted X-Wing!
  3. I do hope it's a new headpiece or helmet, too. Regarding this set that blind Kanan and Thrawn are in... I'm still skeptical that it would be 30 USD as written on the first page... but I like to be surprised if it is indeed this cheap to get Thrawn.
  4. I can't remove quotes and tags as well... And I had reported similar problems with the editor when using mobile and there is no apparent fix until now. For me, I try not to quote and tag people when using mobile becuase I can't remove them when I try to edit. In fact I tried quoting you just now and I can remove the text inside... Just not the entire quote block. I know that is not helpful.. but when you try and edit this message once you're in front of your desktop, it can be easily removed. TL;DR, in mobile the post editor cannot remove quotes and tag... But in desktop there is no issue. Tested on Chrome mobile.
  5. 75138 Hoth Attack could have been great if it has a Tauntaun included since Han is in that set... and like others mentioned, if you are planning to get Assault on Hoth it may be redundant. On the other hand if you have other older Hoth sets then it would be a great buy. I won't buy it stand alone.
  6. I thought that the umbrella piece is black but it looks like dark blue. :(
  7. With the battle suits able to combine with the other smaller sets, it can promote cross selling with either of the sets that are able to combine. Having the battle suits as stand alone mini mech is rather weak so it's good that they offer more than just the suits.
  8. It doesn't matter what George said then because Disney owns Star Wars now and they can do whatever they want with the Expanded Universe / Legends materials. However, some of the Legends / EU materials are not wasted entirely and I think this is where the misconception "some legends are canon, some are not" are coming from... Simply put -- Legends are legends and therefore not canon any longer but some can still be canon moving forward just like how new canon book authors are cherry picking some interesting bits and pieces from EU and making them canon with the slightest references. This is also apparent with Rebels bringing in Thrawn as well as introducing Wedge's back story (though not entirely similar) which can be traced from Legends but are now canon.
  9. Interesting parts in those Battle Suit.
  10. Is there any other major oil company in City other than Octan? Smooth Racing Oil sounds like a sub-brand that Octan would carry under its name.
  11. Great MOC! This will sell very well in hot and tropical regions. I was also interested where you got the blade and it was already answered. It's really expensive but I guess the purchase justifies the outcome. :)
  12. I'm not excited with the butterfly suit girl but if ever it is true, I'm sure it's going to be a big hit like any other costume/suits CMFs.
  13. That pizza van will be in my wish list too. There's also a new printed helmet for the drag racer.
  14. Literally the Hands of time?
  15. I don't know if it is good or bad but I find Yoda's Starfighter "cute"
  16. Even though I like Ice Planet, the new Nexo Knights armours do not give me that vibe... it is looks sharp and edgy but nothing "icy" on them except Lance because he's predominantly coloured white. Having said that, I welcome the new trans-orange/neon orange visors.
  17. I considered myself a Batman fan as a kid... But looking at the villains in the trailers, I don't even know half of them. They look all great. I like the Scuttler design. It looks fun and the selection of minifigures are fantastic. Hope to see more official pics to decide what to pick.
  18. Is it just me or the thief in red overalls has leg printing?
  19. Good theory... I also recall that Zane has P.I.X.A.L embedded in his system and on his face it is abbreviated as PXL ... and it would make sense if the new Samurai VXL is a joint project between Zane and Nya.
  20. My jaw just dropped. What was I doing with my life that time. :-o
  21. The helmet is mismatched, right? Where is that standard rebel pilot going to appear again?
  22. +1 Agree as well... as if the LEGO designers didn't understand Sabine as a character at all ...
  23. I am referring to the rooms allocated for the Ninjas as if they owned the place... It didn't make sense until the end of DoD.
  24. I think what happened was -- many people are commending Nexo Knights for their awesome bad guys line up. And the designers knew they can up their game because why can't Ninjago enjoy the same attention when the bad guys in Ninjago has more depth and character than those of Nexo Knights. I'm really liking the details of the prints this time around... no annoying emblems, too!
  25. Both sides taken, I am with@x105Black even if @Jedi-Bendu has a point. As far as consumers are concerned why does it matter if the characters are put in a cheap or expensive set? As a buyer my goal is to get what I want to the best of my buying power. Putting "most wanted" characters in most expensive set will only marginalise buyers with less buying power. If that character is so-called to be "most wanted" then why artificially reduce its availability when majority of the buyers are willing to shell out money to get one? I guess the clincher will be "whats thr sweet spot TLG can position the most popular minifigs" without sacrificing big set sales. Take Hera for example... Many people bought the Ghost but she became available in microfighters as well. Did it negatively impact the sales of the Ghost? I don't think so... Of course you can argue that until now we don't have Zebb in a cheap set yet... But that's for another thread. The sets themselves should sell well if the collectors wanted them not only for the merit of minifigure. The concept of "exclusive" minifigures created a whole new problem as bootlegger create a cheaper version so collectors can complete their collections -- and to agree that only those with big and deep pockets should be able to get the best possible minifigures sounds not only elitist but also doesn't reflect LEGO brand values. I do hope we see less and less of this "rare" minifigd in new Star Wars sets... Or maybe tone it down so that more people will have means to buy them without selling a kidney... :)
