  1. Lol should've just not mentioned that it's a clone crane
  2. May as well swallow the pill now and get used to it, because the leaked images are of a 6x6 trial truck
  3. By combining the new diffs (12:28) with the planetary hubs (1:5.4), that's a 1:12.6 gear ratio right? Daaaaaaamn that's a lot of torque
  4. I think he means from an aesthetic perspective. Fixed front axles are just shoot-myself-in-the-head lame. Three live axles or this set is a waste and an insult to the Mercedes license’s legacy (imo)
  5. Ah man, so cool Any chance of instructions or take-apart-photos? I'd love to be able to build this, and it looks like something I'd have all the parts for already
  6. You can edit the quote to backspace/remove the image
  7. Amen, but they totally failed to deliver on that front with the 488
  8. Welp, given that the new leak is also on with an 18+ style render, that makes me believe the D11T leak is also real. Definitely seems like TLG downsized these sets, so I won’t be surprised if the leaked prices also reduce. Even though I’m disappointed at the lack of a pneumatic crane, for a trial truck I’d still say it’s still pretty nice and clearly identifiable as a Zetros. I just hope they’ve done the suspension justice
  9. I always really like these countersteering motorbikes, they're really clever. Also, cute kitty
  10. ? No I definitely did read what you said my dude lol. My second reply was saying that because the box art has little to do with the set’s selling, they could’ve gone and created a space themed one despite it being 18+, and not worry about it impacting the sales. In any case it doesn’t matter, my only point is that the box sucks megablocks and poopoo TLG because they squandered the chance to create a beautiful piece of design artwork
  11. Well yes that’s what I’m saying, so this one could’ve had better box art like the recent NASA sets.
  12. But the Saturn V sold like absolute bonkers, to the point that they re-released it. I think this is just their marketing department being dense as usual
  13. Anyone else kinda disappointed at the use of 18+ box art for this set? It's the first time I'm really disappointed by the box. The Saturn V absolutely knocked it out of the park with its box art, and the ISS and Lunar Lander were also quite nice, but I really would've appreciated something more than just boring old black. Some blue Earth in the background would've really been nice, or something with that same retro 20th century space concept art energy that the Saturn V box had. Really seems like a missed opportunity
  14. Jesus the Chinese clone market is enormous... I mean I knew it was big but holy hell I never pictured that it was THAT big. The photos of that toy fair just kept on coming I have no idea how TLG can even begin to think they'll be able to compete
  15. Yeah same here. I'm easily convinced that a set that large could be around 3.8k pieces, because it's almost exactly the same size as EricTrax's 42100 bulldozer B-model. I'm not convinced about the price, so I'm still reserving judgement until more details come out.
  16. Absolutely! I've wanted to build it for ages but couldn't find instructions anywhere
  17. I think some of the arguments here are reaching a bit... I could accept that the leaked D11T image is a photoshop over an 18+ style box, mainly because it doesn't have any background gradient around the top like we see in the Zetros leak. I suppose it's possibile that it's an early version, but it's far likelier that it's almost finalised by now. Hence why I think TLG just changed the price point somewhere during initial product development. It's practically never the case that a leaked image changes beyond more than a few bits. From memory, the most recent cases of this were 42039, 42054 and 42069, and that yellow pullback motorcycle from 2017, and even then they were never fundamentally changed. Remember that these are supposed to be catalogue images for retailers to see beforehand, so the expected standard by now is that what you see is what you get. what... how
  18. Surely you realise that a highly detailed diecast model is going to be very accurate to the real thing, right? This is clearly a model, not a kids' toy
  19. Sorry you're right, there actually is one. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be more than a single-spiked one. If that's really the case then I wonder what changed during the design process
