There are some folk on this forum who build stunning Batmobiles from scratch,I`m not one of them, but I do like to "tweak" stuff, and when I saw this A.M.G. Mercedes with it`s set back cockpit and long bonnet ,it yelled Batmobile at me.....maybe Mr Wayne took some machine shop college classes and put this together? Take care everybody Kenny IMG_2855 by kenny burns, on Flickr IMG_2853 by kenny burns, on Flickr IMG_2848 by kenny burns, on Flickr

Not sure if this correct to post here (I will be doing a Licensed theme post as well)...but having never looked at a Speed Champions set ,I was blown away with the A.M.G.Merc, what a great build also ,it screamed "Batmobile " to me..so here is it "modded" for Bruce Wayne...also I am now hooked on these sets and another A.M.G. along with the Camero set and Mustang are now on my wish list! Yeah ,this is epic, epic stuff.............."nuff said!"

Really clever, part of the attraction of building Lego ,is that it can take you back to a memory of a favourite TV show or movie...all your vignettes do this, through brilliant building and use of figures/parts, wonderful !!

I think mighty micros are a bit like Juniors sets..You can source some pieces which could be useful, but that for me is all they are.I don't really care for them...at their current price point, I'd rather buy a Brickheadz.

Really nostalgic, brilliant stuff!

Andy summed it up best...Titus , you have created something special here..pure magic!!

Did a Knightmare Batman using the original desert Bats torso/legs from the Ra`s Al Ghul set combined with non Lego coat etc..it looks pretty good next to Ra`s and Bain IMG_2815 by kenny burns, on Flickr IMG_2814 by kenny burns, on Flickr

Here`s some Bat-Weirdness.. Azrael, Lobo and others. The Knightmare Batman uses the torso/legs from the Ra`s Al Ghul set (the Bat V.W. buggy also started off in that set) IMG_2823 by kenny burns, on Flickr

Really nice builds Duncan !..these junior sets can be a great source for cool parts, I used the Tony Stark car bonnet from the Ironman/Loki set for my Hulk-buster`s chest.I have the original Lex Luthor mech, but your clever use of the junior`s printed part ,would make it look so much better....so that`s more money goin` Lego`s way!! Take care and keep building Kenny 25339328485_33b991da45_z by kenny burns, on Flickr

Ship Build Off #1; Captain Green Hair needs YOU!

Love the simple lines of Tuna King!!... -
Went to LEGOLAND in May and I saw the epic Star Wars displays soooo..I picked up the buildable K2S0 at the park shop and the Hamley`s outlet at Heathrow had the Shore Trooper on sale ,so I blagged him..then I saw that Argos had the Rogue One Chicken Walker at £35, so that came home as did the Landspeeder which even at full price is a steal, but Argos did it for £18.00.;The Landspeeder is the only one I`ve built ; but I have managed a semi-secure way to carry Artoo on it`s back...I`ve definitely got the Star Wars bug again!! Ahh now, you see the D.K. exclusive`s legs have a sand/beige binding detail, which the set`s original legs didn`t have..it`s not that clear on the piccies I`ve put up, but it does make a difference. Take care Bro Kenny.

Recently |I`ve not been too impressed with the current crop of Star Wars sets, but I saw the fantastic displays on show at LEGOLAND and I got the Star Wars bug again..I picked up the buildable K2S0 at the park shop and Hamley`s outlet at Heathrow had the Shore Trooper on sale ,so I blagged him..then I saw that Argos had the R1 Chicken Walker at £35 that came home as did the Landspeeder which even at full price is a steal, but Argos did it for £18.00. Anyhow ,so far only the Landspeeder has been built and I love it!..I did do a couple of wee tweaks, I had a spare Artoo which I attached to the speeder using a back -pack piece as a sort of a bracket (Jang suggested this in his youtube review),it`s not that secure, but it stops him falling off when on display, I have a white version of this piece (I think), but I havn`t found it yet. I used the torso/legs of the Luke figure that came with the D.K. Visual Dictionary book coupled with the set supplied head/hair piece and swapped out the repaired engine pod for a lighter grey version . Next on my list ,are the Vader transformation set and new Clone Trooper Tank...!! Take care everybody Kenny. That`s nutz...why can`t Lego do stuff like this, add another fig and/or a small build and it would probably be priced like the current speed champions sets...brilliant work!!
-
Epic concept !!!..............nothing more to add from me!

Cheers ,VaderFan, I know painting Lego is kinda cheating, but it was a good way to use up those old bricks. Take care Kenny.

I got gifted some old well used chipped/discoloured bricks ,so I put this together using some of them....., it looked a bit like a rolling rainbow until I zapped it with some Poundland paint!!...Any way ,Frank Castle won`t be getting held up in traffic any more! Take care folks Kenny IMG_2755 by kenny burns, on Flickr IMG_2759 by kenny burns, on Flickr IMG_2737 by kenny burns, on Flickr

The CW Arrowverse - What Sets Would You Want?
r5-j2 replied to TheGeekMeister's topic in LEGO Licensed
I detest these TV shows ,I really do, I prefer re-runs of Justice League Unlimited/Young Justice to these costumed "soap operas", which it has to be said do have some great villains (like Leonard Snart or Malcolm Merlyn), but as a view of the world of D.C. are just too light-weight to keep my attention (there`s only so many flash-backs in Arrow ,that my mind can cope with!).....but I wouldn`t say no to some sets; Star Labs would be top of my list! p.s. As mentioned before Legends could give us some classic vintage characters, which would be nice!!- 19 replies

Glad to see things are looking up and as the Fantastic Four really kicked off Marvel`s popularity (although the Submariner Namor character well pre-dates them,- going back to the Timely Comics eraof the 1930`s ), I`d love to see a decent treatment of them in tv or film...and also Lego!!!
