Disney Collectible Minifigures Series 1 Discussion
Darkdragon replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Licensed
By your definitions, all shops are scalping, and it is incorrect. The actual retail-related definition is * to resell (tickets, merchandise, etc.) at higher than the official rates. * to buy and sell (stocks) so as to make small quick profits.- 4,155 replies

Bear Knights to Dragon Knights
Darkdragon replied to Ltfalcon's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Ah cool, the shields are great! -
Yeah I believe it is the GUI editor, the plain text works fine on all browsers.

That looks great. I don't recognize the shield though, is it LEGO or 3rd party or custom? -

Amazing work. The interiors are just mindblowing, all the little details. I can't even pick a favorite room!

That camera looks fun, I remember seeing it at Toys R Us about 10 years ago. FYI it was only $50 new, I would highly recommend looking for something else. You could get a decent pocket still camera for around that price and it will have macro mode as well. When doing brick films, there's really no reason to have a video camera as you are only capturing still frames. There's a tutorial on Choosing a Camera over in the BF&C Academy forum, you might be interested in checking that out. I hope you find something that works well for you

Flattening a wrinkled old-style cape
Darkdragon replied to retrotaco's topic in General LEGO Discussion
That would probably burn the cape, those things are hot and uncontrollable temp as far as i know, but I don't use them at all -
This is a dangerous thread, you'll notice that the Superheroes thread ended up with almost all the parts being pulled from B&P. Listing rare things here could come the same end with these parts. If the part is available for SALE on Bricks & Pieces, you can usually (but not always) order up to 200. If you are talking about the replacement parts service, it isn't even suppose to be used to get extra parts just to replace actual missing or broken parts.

I like the use of minidolls as displays. -
The Ariel minidoll with the new hair looks exactly like the one in the cartoons, IMO. I am looking forward to the set and hopefully it will be easy to get ahold of like s15 was.

Flattening a wrinkled old-style cape
Darkdragon replied to retrotaco's topic in General LEGO Discussion
What I've done is to to dip it water and then iron it on a low/med heat setting. In my experience the capes came out looking almost like new. -
That has the be the worst advice I've ever heard. Like I said, we don't delete accounts.

We don't delete accounts, and there is not a way for you to delete your own account.

[help] posable Leg decals
Darkdragon replied to pittpenguin123's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Can you show an example of one of these many figures? I'm not sure what you are saying because applying decals to legs would be the same as applying to any flat part. -

Well that's not a problem with the figure, that's a problem with the person who built it for the photos.- 4,155 replies

SHIELD vs. HYDRA Mafia - Conclusion
Darkdragon replied to mediumsnowman's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
This is very true, at least you would have been alive. I asked people in the town block about you and the "i protected him" .. " i mean i blocked him" claim and instead of anything useful was only told 'let's see what happens if it's brought up in the day thread'. -
SHIELD vs. HYDRA Mafia - Conclusion
Darkdragon replied to mediumsnowman's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Yeah, and I have to say that a PM-less game does not help at all with people talking more in day threads. I have to say, I do not recommend it. Maybe you just seem more and more scummy to me as the days go on.
