REVIEW: 5002948 C-3PO Exclusive Polybag 2015
Darkdragon replied to WhiteFang's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Just to update folks on availability of this figure in the USA: I was at Toys R Us today and this polybag was on promo, free with $40 LEGO Star Wars purchase. I purchased a $39.99 set and that was apparently enough to qualify for it. It rang up at $3.99 then promo discount to $0.00. They would not let me buy an extra one though. -
Scooby Doo Mafia: All Fired Up - Conclusion
Darkdragon replied to Darkdragon's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Yeah I know you don't usually do much of it. It's not that big a deal really that I'd make it a sign-up requirement. The new crop of mafia players just doesn't role-play as much I guess. -
Chrome silver is simply what happens to the old chrome gold over time. If you look at some old used coins, you'll see the same issue. It's either chemical or rubbing or a combination. So your crowns are most likely originally chrome gold but over time have faded to silver.

Scooby Doo Mafia: All Fired Up - Conclusion
Darkdragon replied to Darkdragon's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I agree that the cop/watcher combo would have been the best choice, and if you look back at day 1 it's really the scum team that seems to be leading everyone away from or into ignoring the watcher as an option. They must have realized how powerful that combo would have been for the town. As long as you aren't murdering people to keep them from discovering your horde I think you're safe. I don't really have anything against hoarders, it was more complex when I wrote the story but nobody would want to read another 15 pages of comic I'm sure. The game for me was a bit disapointing, there was hardly any posting, it almost semed like nobody was participating and just waiting on someone else to do something so they could bandwagon along. Scubacarrot and Dragonator are the only ones who bothered to try to do anything with the character itself. It really seemed like the last 4 days of a normal size game, nobody saying anything and characters out the window. I've added the character bio writeups to the first post in case anyone is curious about them. -

At the bottom of each forum it lists who moderates that forum, sometimes a user or multiple users (staff members) and sometimes a group. In the case of Community, it's the group known as Fellows. -
It could be because your credit card doesn't match your shipment address, unless you have it set up to bill to your uni address, but now your account is probably flagged and that's why the second order failed much faster. You'll definitely want to find a phone that can get through to customer service, it's the only way you'll be able to resolve it I think.

You may now vote for the player you find most worthy of a Lynch. Voting should be done in the following format; Vote: Character (Player). Similarly, unvoting is to be done in the format; Unvote: Character (Player). No other format will be accepted. With 5 players left, a majority vote of 3 is required to lynch a player. -
I've never had any cracks on back of figure legs. Either displayed (clicked on some studs like you did) or stored undisplayed. I don't think using the figure like that, as intended will lead to any cracks and if they did, LEGO customer service should probably be contacted. The longest I've had a figure displayed in that manor so far is 5 years.

Cracks on minifigure torsos usually happen from changing the arms out (which LEGO says not to do and they don't even sell arms). I've never had this happen myself, but I do have some older torsos without arms that are cracked and others have stated that pulling arms out has caused cracks for them. Arm cracks, I've heard can happen when switching hands, but again I've never seen it myself. I do have one cracked arm but it also has a toothmark so my guess is the bite cracked it. I've also read that using the new clear "spider jumper" stand (i don't know the official name) can often crack the back of minifig legs. That one is documented around these forums somewhere.
