  1. It worked well for This comic. The lights were $5-8 for the lamps and $4 for a pack of 4 bulbs. The background is one of many from the old Studios sets http://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=4130910#T=C&C=0
  2. That was fun to watch. You can, and are encouraged to, embed your video directly into the thread here at Eurobricks. As KamalMYafi mentioned, the board will do it automatically if you just put the URL in with HTTP instead of HTTPS.
  3. Welcome to Eurobricks. Hope to see some of your films posted in Brick Flicks & Comics section.
  4. Please don't quote images, you can easily remove the image itself from the quote before posting. Cool. Do you think that will really stop a request thread from happening?
  5. My Target did not. In my experience, it's a real crap shoot (at least around here in Oklahoma) on if any store other than TRU will actually have any CMF at all. My Walmart, for example, didn't have anything after s10 until Disney and now s16. Walgreens is also a random place that I find them at often, and they don't seem to care about "release date" and put them out as soon as they arrive.
  6. I found a partially empty box at a local Walmart as well (last Sunday).
  7. Check out the Visual User Guide, it will give you all the instructions for the most common uses of the site.
  8. That is a very handsome new age Wolfpack. Do we know how many of these are in each box?
  9. If it's a non-starwars space build it should go in Sci-Fi not Star Wars.
  10. It seems like this thread can be nothing but an ongoing argument. It's really too bad because it would have been much more fun to just discuss the game and have fun. I don't really see a reason for this to go on.
  11. Your Link looks really clean and is very impressive. Not only is it allowed, but encouraged to use a link or embeded image. The attachment feature is not meant for images but for things like LDD files. Image uploads here are really only meant for avatars and such. It's always recommended to host your images on an image hosting site (there are many free options) and deeplink/embed the image into your post. You can edit your post to embed the image you linked to by adding and [ /img] (without the space in the second tag) around it.
  12. Here's a bit on lighting for stop motion http://www.stopmotioncentral.com/lighting2.html If you might want to drop in backgrounds in editing, you'll want to light for greenscreen (no matter what color screen you use): https://www.digitalanarchy.com/demos/chroma_lighting.html You don't need to spend a lot of money on lighting, I suggest using daylight (5000k) CFL or LED and the silver clamp lights (available at home depot, walmart, etc) in various sizes. Why the clamp lights? * They are cheap, light, and store in a relatively small space. * You can clamp them to anything, chair/stick/lego stack/window ledge, to get the angle you need. * You can use clothespins to clamp light adjusters, diffusers/cookies/gels, to the lights * Here's an example from one of my shoots.
  13. That baby is more expensive through B&P then it is on Bricklink though. Too bad it can't use a standard head.
  14. I went to TRU today looking for s16. They looked in the stock room, they did have them - but wouldn't sell because the box says not to sell until SEPT 1. This was in OK, USA
  15. I don't know if that's a fact or not, and if they were killed or not, but 2 idiots out of 30m+ users seems pretty low risk. A game can not be blamed because of those that misuse it, in any context. Blaming the game is like blaming Dungeons & Dragons because some insane people went out murdering. Games don't kill people, people kill people.
  16. The simple background looks nice. I think I see some wrinkles or shadows so you'll want to try and correct that before filming. I don't know if you are already planning it or not, but your background needs to have its own static light source which should be bright and soft (no hot spots).
  17. You did a good job here. Your camera-static shots are well animated, the moving camera shots have a very shaky feel to them so you might want to work on smoothing that out. I see a lot of improvement from your first try
  18. Feel free to put the link to your Ideas project in the post.
  19. That video was great. Very enjoyable and I loved your style!
  20. I'm sure the game developers are hoping that players will use the tiniest bit of common sense and not do anything dangerous or illegal.
  21. Yeah basically, it is actually funded by Amazon the company but the creatures are loosley based on an old 70s(?) Kamen Rider Amazon. Definitely the darkest one I've seen, it's over now. It was sorta a miniseries, 13 episodes I think.
  22. I'd say those are definitely not worth the asking price. Personally, I'd never use something in those conditions and most of the parts would be tossed in my "damaged and broken minifig parts" bin. You'd be much better off to find a seller with a bunch of space figures on Bricklink, honestly.
  23. Why did you put all the photos in spoiler tags? It's extra clicking for the viewer that way. I like your Bizzaro2, that's pretty close
