  1. I don't collect all, I have no interest in most. I collect things that I find useful. But it is interesting how different people see things. My close friend is interested in figures I couldn't care less about, and vice versa. But there are usually one or two that we both want multiples of, so there is overlap. With this series, I have multiple Unicorns and Dragons.
  2. I'm sorry to hear that! At least you tried. Bummer though.
  3. That's a pretty nice Radiohead interpretation. Of course, the others are nice too. But that one is more meaningful to me.
  4. Adorable. I want one.
  5. Try to call them, that may help.
  6. That's lame. The 3 minifigure series in blind bags are half awesome because of great minifigures, half pain in the asterisk due to the difficulty of finding what you want. An additional blind bag series is more pain. Only time will tell if the designs will be worthwhile at all, let alone worth the trouble of hunting and feeling bags for the builds.
  7. I'm just trying to figure out what's licensed about this thread. That said, there are some nice builds in here. Well done, people.
  8. I'd suggest Black Falcon's Fortress by @Mark of Falworth:
  9. No confirmation, but a pretty strong hint that it could happen.
  10. That's a really good one. For me as a fan of the Castle theme, I have the same feelings about visors and helmets.
  11. I just received an order from BrickLink that included Savage Opress, U-3PO, and a Geonosian head (which is actually for a friend that is trying to build a Green Lantern Corps using various alien heads).
  12. Agreed. I'd love to see them spend a little more for small touches like this that have a huge impact.
  13. Some of those parts look good. Would have looked better is all that orange was copper, maybe.
  14. That looks pretty nice! Good thinking!
  15. Tat's a great idea. Looking forward to seeing how this could turn out!
  16. Is that necessary? Does Castle always have to target a younger audience? Fantasy era, Kingdoms, and the Tolkien themes (and, well, Nexo Knights interestingly enough) targeted age ranges above the traditional Castle theme age ranges. When I talk about a new Castle theme, I talk about anything that could fit under that banner, so Kingdoms and the Fantasy era stuff would be included. So in my mind, Castle can target more than just the younger kids. That said, we should get back on topic here and discuss elements from other themes that could apply to Castle themes. It has been mentioned here before, but I've got 3 copies of the Battle of Atlantis set, and the minifigures and parts in that set are very useful for Castle builds. I just need to replace the helmets with something that doesn't say "aquatic" specifically. So instead of this: I will use this: From Hero Factory. There may be other good Pearl Gold helmets to use (there are a couple of winged helmets that will look good), but these are nice substitutes.
  17. I will agree that Zia is cool, and that the Transport set is much more easily included in a City layout.
  18. Not a bad idea. I could see them reusing the baby dinosaur mold for that purpose. Agreed. The truck is not that great. Less money on the Juniors set is better. Plus, I just like the look of that Tyrannosaurus more than the tan one.
  19. Love the sabertooth tiger. Good to see it get an increase in availability.
  20. That could actually be cool.
  21. Those and the pearl grey colors would be great.
  22. That, and having a bunch of kids feeling bags (especially in the spring) means a good chance of picking up some germs. It would be nice if stores would put hand sanitizer next to the CMF displays.
  23. What color is it in these sets? It's really hard to make out details in these tiny images.
  24. Even better.
  25. All of the Bat symbols and such are going to be great for my Castle builds and Bat faction.
