I love the Batwoman minifigure. It will be great to have more females in my Bat faction.

I would have though the arm would be in gunmetal grey at least. It did look almost black in the movie.

All guesses at this point. Diagon Alley is nowhere near as iconic as Hogwarts. I'm a casual fan of the franchise. I know what Hogwarts looks like, no problem, but couldn't tell Diagon Alley from any other alley. There's no reason to believe that the D2C will be anything but Hogwarts. It's just a matter of how much and which parts of the castle will be released. I believe it will be a nice full castle with all of the most iconic parts.

Not sure what was so awful about BB-8 in the Advent Calendar. It was great to get the standard version as the Christmas versions are always too ridiculous to me. About Harry Potter, an Advent Calendar would be a great way to get Christmas variants. I would be surprised if we didn't see it down the road (unless they show up in the CMF).

That dragon would be horrible for me, as it would clash with my molded Castle dragons. I am excited about several other things coming out. For example, new Batman sets are coming out. They will have bat emblems in gold, copper, and gunmetal. These could be great for a Bat faction that uses Fright Knight heraldry. That's what I intend to use them for. -
Yes, my bad. I think I meant "I couldn't care less" about the RC functions rather than "I could." I mean, I don't care, but I suppose I could care a bit less...

Much of that can likely be attributed to adult collectors and the mixed reactions to the film itself.

It would be fantastic, but unlikely for all the normal reasons (the difference between a building toy and an action figure according to other toy companies and licensing).

Not really. I like the way that the set looks, all the black pieces. I like the minifigure. I like the bat parts. The RC functions are irrelevant to me, so I'd prefer a version without those parts. That would make the black pieces, the Batman minifigure, and the bat emblems much less expensive and easier to obtain. Nothing contradictory there.

I agree. I wish all minifigures could be brought up to this standard (when appropriate).

I've definitely tried that before on numerous items, but have always been told that they were not able to sell them to me (or give them).

That's a fair point. Just wanted to buy direct. I expect that there won't be many buying the set and selling off the pieces I want, so I assume the price would be lower from LEGO themselves.

It would be great if they did, but licensed pieces like these are rarely made available to purchase.

I love that Marvel is getting a Bricktober pack. I don't love not knowing if it will be available in my area. Also, having now seen better pictures, I love the War Machine and Wong, so I'm going to want this one.

I love the set. The price (even at $100) is not so great. I could care less about the RC functions. I just want the Batman and Bat emblem pieces.

Many are lamenting the size of the tree, but I think it's pretty much in scale to the Great Hall and the connecting piece of Hogwarts.
