    I think a minifigure or small set now and then focusing on the secular aspects of holidays around the world are not an issue. An entire themed minifigure series focused on a religious holiday is a bit much in my opinion.

    As great as the prospect of a new Lord of the Rings series is for LEGO in theory, it would likely get in the way of actual Castle sets. So, considering this, I actually hope it does not happen.

    While I agree that Looney Tunes would make a great CMF series, I think both could work as regular sets just fine. That said, it would only likely be a couple of sets.

    I like the variety in size and shape in the Modulars subtheme. I really don't care for structures that have no interior builds, both official and MOC. It bothers me when a build is not functional, even if the functions aren't used. And I've always hated having a smaller build because of a small side build eating up the piece count. So, I like detailed interiors and exteriors, and I don't care for the inclusion of vehicles.

    I've seen Rakka, and it's fantastic. I also watched Adam, both because it was Blomkamp, and because it was produced in the Unity game engine. I'd recommend that one. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

    Yes, I have seen it, and I enjoyed it. It's an interesting story, and overall a good watch. I'm a big fan of Blomkamp's work. I would suggest it.

    Great review, and thanks for all the photos. I'm also not keen on the inclusion of Pixal, and I think a Castle minifigure would have been better. One thing I wanted to inquire: did you account for the money spent to obtain the set in your value assessment? It may be a freebie, but you had to spend over a certain amount to obtain it. Sometimes that value is worth it, other times it isn't. Again, nice review!

    Well the obvious answer would be Castle themed, but I'd also appreciate a Pirates themed or Space themed series. That said, I tend to prefer the non-themed series.

    I have 3 of this set myself, it's a great set! I plan to do something similar with my minifigures, they are good army builders.

    No, not really. I don't care much for Christmas, and there would be little for me in the series. Unless they did a Krampus, maybe.

    I really enjoyed that movie. The tenacity of Damon's character was awesome, and the knowledge of science was key.

    I absolutely love this. One of the best parts of The Phantom Menace in LEGO form, now possible through Dimensions. So the idea is fantastic, but the execution is amazing. This is a well built piece based on the scene. It's both accurate and aesthetically pleasing. The only critique is the lack of some details of the Senate Pod, like the darker spots, or the white / light band around the bottom. Still, at this scale it would be difficult to be any more accurate than this, while retaining the rounded shape, so I wouldn't take any points off for that. Other than those minor gripes, this is spot on. Very well done! Superb!

    Yeah, maybe then we could have gotten some attention to the Castle theme. Maybe with the Unicorn Knight, I guess.

    Well, one could sell off the 3 additional copies of the minifigures to get some of the money back. Still, yes, it would be pretty expensive to start with.

    Right, but maybe there could be another thread to discuss the status of your Bricks & Pieces orders so that this one could keep its focus on parts available from Bricks & Pieces.

    I don't know if they have outright stated that they plan to release Clu. I saw that they made a cryptic comment that used Clu's name as a pun, but I'm not sure they ever said anything more about it.
