  1. I happen to be interested in the same question. Lance is my favorite of the Knights. In fact, the only one I really like. So a cheaper way to get him would be nice. I'm likely going to buy the library set, I think it's a much better looking set than the Robo Horse or the Evil Mobile, but if he will be in a cheaper set later, that would be even nicer. I kind of want his parts for army building (but not a transparent variant).
  2. Agreed. I'm actually surprised that the base castle build looks as good as it does. Sure, it has a lot of extraneous bits like the nostrils, slide, and weird turrets, but underneath that there's a decent castle.
  3. From Boudon's designs, I'm mostly hoping for the Centaur. I think there are a lot of good medieval fantasy designs.
  4. Genie will be cool. So we know Peter Pan, Hook, and Genie. I'll agree with Huigberts Builds and say I expect Stitch and Mickey, and I also think Aladdin will be likely. Too bad about Tron, but as much as I'd like it, I figured it had a low probability. Does anyone think we'll see Winnie the Pooh? I'm feeling like it could happen.

  6. People could submit their Ideas based on licenses in a non-licensed way. If it's a good set, and not completely reliant on licensing, then it could have a higher chance of acceptance. So if someone had a Thundercats set idea, they could swap it out with Chima, or a generic non-licensed theme. Of course, most Ideas based on a license are very heavily reliant on the license, so I don't think this would be likely. Even still, I'd buy a LEGO set based on a generic Elf Hero about as fast as I would buy a set based on The Legend of Zelda.

  8. The King has a Lion on his chest. If it's an Ultimate set, with the Rock Candy armor, I'd rather not.
  9. It's a much better castle than anything else we're seeing so far, including the Fortrex (which is from what is supposed to be a Castle theme).
  10. Agreed. These make fine Tron minifigures. Nexo Knights are similar, but without a black base color. I'd love to see Tron minifigures.
  11. Please! That would make for a Happy Holiday, no matter what day it happens.

  13. This is the most exciting LEGO news I've heard in a while!
  14. Why would someone mention that they had information if they didn't plan to share it? I don't know how series 11 could be considered a winter theme. Only 3 minifigures out of 16 really fit that bill: Yeti, Elf, and Gingerbread Man. The Pretzel Girl and Scarecrow sort of fit autumn, but none of the rest have any seasonal affiliation. If anything, I'd say the Island Warrior and Barbarian are ready for summer with the way they're dressed. Anyways, not an attack, just an observation. I wouldn't doubt the possibility of a similar situation with this theme: roughly 3 winter characters. That could be nice. From what we know, this series will not be themed in the same way that series 14 was, with the Monster theme, so I wouldn't expect much more than 3 of any particular concept. Then again, your list really only had 4 themed characters, so I'd guess that you don't expect it much either.

  16. Thanks for the confirmation! Any other hints you could give?
  17. I agree. If there are princesses, they will not all appear in one series. I'd suspect maybe a couple in each series, spread over multiple series.
  18. They're not minifigures, so I don't see why they should count. Also, Ash Attacker is maybe my favorite minifigure of the wave.
  19. Both are on Naboo. Fair enough. I need to befriend my local LEGO Store employees. They're nice guys, anyways.
  20. Also, no Jedi / Sith. Great question. I think it's fun for them to leak bit by bit? Not sure. Maybe they're bound by some sort of confidentiality agreement? Even as primitive as telling a friend who works for LEGO that they won't share.
  21. Doubtful, as this movie is not as hotly anticipated as the other. Although, I could be wrong.
  22. A Snow Queen? That sounds pretty cool! Thanks for sharing! It's very noble of you to do so.
  23. Minidolls may be more accurate, but only in relation to each other. Minifigures are more accurate in a minifigure setting. I love the joke, though. A Collectibe Minidolls (CMD) line might in fact sell well. I would not suggest replacing any of the 3 yearly CMF lines with it, though. I think Beast could be just fine as a minifigure, but I'm beginning to doubt he will be in this series. 1. A Disney CMF series is a good solution to getting Disney Princesses as minifigures, as we won't be getting them through the Disney Princesses line. 2. I feel that Disney will have multiple series of CMFs, and while I agree that there are many good non-princess characters to choose from, I disagree that this is enough of a reason to exclude princesses from the series, nor do I think they have to either make all of them or none of them. 3. I don't think it will compete, because while there is some crossover between fans of minidolls and minifigures, most are fans of one or the other. You should say more. I wish you did, too, because even though I'm taking part in the discussion, I'm also rather annoyed by it. We should indeed give it a rest. I would take this post into account when thinking about what to expect in this series. I have a feeling there is knowledge behind it. For example, based on the creature comment, I'm expecting Stitch (although I'd prefer Beast or Sulley). I like Stitch enough, and I'll definitely look for one.
